I was looking for some alcohol on a Sunday evening and none of the stores were open at the time I wanted. I came across this liquor store which was open till midnight so thought about giving this store a try. The store is decently sized but is packed from the inside. They have a ton of different types of wines/ champagne/ beer/ whiskey and more. The quantity and the availability of each type of alcohol is abundant.I was looking for a particular champagne for the occasion and it was very easy to find. The staff was friendly enough to guide me to the particular bottle. They have social distancing inside the store with masks on policy as well. The checkout process was hassle free and the overall experience was good.If you compare the prices to the big supermarkets then of course, there’s gonna be a difference. This is a small/ local liquor store whereas supermarkets have their own policies and marketing tools. All that said, in need, this store came in handy for me and the prices weren’t off the charts maybe a couple of dollars here and there but that doesn’t take away from my experience especially when all the nearby stores were closed and this was the only option.

This place is great! Theyre open until like 1am and have the best selection of liquor Ive ever seen... they literally had every different type of alcohol you can think of! And the staff was super helpful; shoutout to AK for getting me to try something new and different! I will definitely be back

Downtown Liquors a show stopping liquor store! One day came in the store late at night since other liquor stores closed earlier the staff was very friendly and polite. They had a huge variety to chose from. At the end of the day I recommend going to this store! 5 stars!

Location is huge with a great selection and we ordered a deliver and it was there in 10 mins. They deliver fast and the prices are best in town and they open late as well until 1:30am. You cant beat that... Great selection on the single malt whiskeys.

Its open till 3 am just about everyday and until 1 on Sundays. You really cant beat that. Especially since I get out of work late. They even deliver which might seem a little pricey but worth it compared to a DUI.

They have an assortment of beers, non-beer drinks, wines and liquors. They even have some things for mixed drink (maraschino cherries, simple syrup, pineapple juice, sour mix, etc.) Just ask where they are.

I go here fairly often cause its literally around the corner from me and I never had a problem until now. This is the 2nd time I tried to make an order and it wasnt successful. The 1st time was on a Superbowl Sunday so I give that one a pass cause I know they were busy. But for my 2nd time theres no pass. Its a Tuesday night and I called my order in at 9:05pm and they told me 40 minutes and keep in mind the order was only going 5 minutes away by car. 10:08pm comes and I decided to call back and find out wheres my order. They told me its not coming because its pass 10pm. I told them my order was placed over an hr ago and and they responded with, I called after 9:30pm. Their next response was that the driver is busy. I told them I called at 9:05pm which is plenty of time to deliver my order. I then said if my order wasnt getting delivered, why didnt you call me back and let me know that. He just said,its after 10pm. That isnt a clear explanation to someone that comes there all the time. I will continue to go there but the delivery system is horrible. If I knew in a timely manner that my order wasnt coming, I could of just went and picked up what I wanted. 😑

On Saturday 4/13 I went into the store late night. I accidentally left my wallet behind in their bathroom. I went back the next day to try and find it. Upon watching videos I saw that two of their employees had went and closed the bathroom door. They were in a single person bathroom together for five minutes. (Going through the contents of my wallet). The manager had tried to be nice, but also encouraged me to not call the police. But this wasnt something I was going to let slide. I am a server and make my income in cash, my whole weekends worth of income was stolen from me. It is obvious the manager and employees of this location are untrustworthy. Very sad.

Will never call or buy there again, when I call for a delivery they took my order and address and then told me there’s a 25.00 dollar min, you would think 10 or 15 dollars is good that’s what all deliveries are in the area are, they required 25.00 dollars

This place is garbage, I advise you avoid at all cost. Being out of town I didnt know apparently you cant get hard liquor after a certain hour, but the staff here immediately started berating my wife and I while we were browsing, rather than just saying hey we cant sell hard liquor right now.

I bought two boxes of beers (12can&18can) and two bottles of flavor beers. The total was $47.73 I just paid for it without any suspicion because I come to this place often. That was a mistake. This time I came with my gf, she told me the price is different when she calculated, the actual price was $43.31.Went back in there to check the price again. 1st time he checked he told me subtotal is 43something with the tax is 47.73. (Subtotal actually means included tax) The old man took his damn time to check it againAND THEN I LOOKED AROUND REALIZE THERE ACTUALLY WAS THE CASHIER SCREEN WHERE CUSTOMER COULD SEE THE LIST OF THE ITEMS AND PRICE. They put the screen away of customers sight so customers cant see while making transaction. They give you a receipt with only the final price on it with no list of any items or price.SO FROM THE SCREEEN, SUBTOTAL WAS 43.31 WHICH MEANS TAX INCLUDED. SO I ASKED IF THE NJ TAX IS 15% OR SOMETHINGSo the first excuse he tries to tell me subtotal is 43.31 but 47.73 is including tax??This time the old man starts to making excuses like there actually was a beer left in his screen which a customer before me bought it was added to mine or whatever.So they gave me the $3.something back in the end.Im sure they were doing the same thing like adding another beer or something scamming the locals. Giving you receipt of only final price on it hiding that cashier screen.If you have to come here make sure to look for cashier screen and check what you get.Im never going back again :)
