Nice and courteous I showed up almost 2 hours early because I wrote down the wrong time. But they was nice enough to fit me in only had to wait for 15 min. They went above and beyond to help me out. Dropped my car off on Monday, it was done by Friday. They have amazing customer service! Kept me updated the whole process of my car getting fixed and even took my car to a car wash. Outstanding place!

Very nice and very efficient with the work that they do. I went in with one problem and just casually mentioned a popping noise that happens when I open my passenger door.. not only did they fix my original issue BUT they also fixed the door noise! It was a simple fix, but I didn’t have a clue how to fix it.. but the fact they they did that minor gesture speaks major volumes about their customer service. Usually I travel wayyy over to Detroit to get my cars serviced but I definitely will be returning to them instead for any car issues that they may be able to assist me with.And Yes you can get serviced anywhere but good customer service that goes beyond the actual service... is priceless. I would recommend anyone I know to go to this gem. The people and work is of a superior high quality.

Greay customer service. Great work on my truck.Had my truck in for body work a second time at Gerber. I was satisfied the 1st time but this second time they out did them selves. My dodge Ram was taken there a week ago. I havent been updated on any problems with it. I called yesterday and was told that the tech Chrid would call me. He never did. Called today, no updates on issues with my truck. Was told that it should be done by tomorrow. Feels like Im kept in the dark, since Ive not been told if the actual problems with my truck.

Absolutely terrible. I took my car here because Allstate said that they were a reputable company that will put my car back the way it was. However they put the wrong bumper on my car and when I asked them to put the right one back on they told me it would cost me $2000 when they put the wrong bumper on I would stay away from this place and choose a body shop that will treat your car right and put it back the way it was before.

After a collision my insurance company (USAA) suggested I go to Gerber. From the ladies up front to the guys in the back working on the vehicles I give an all around 5 star rating my car was picked up within a few weeks & it looked fantastic. I will go back there for any of my car collision needs. I went to the Allen rd, Woodhaven location. Its hard to see the damage in the top photo but there was a $6,000 bill. Bottom photo is my 2017 Fusion all fixed up looking way better. I highly recommend this shop to anybody.

My Explorer got smashed while it was in front of my house...Got my explorer back after several weeks and it had an exhaust leak... they told my insurance company it was due to rust..... Thank you for helping the insurance company...

My experience with Gerber in Woodhaven Mi was awful, I had my car towed to them to be fixed by my insurance company. They gave me a free rental and after a couple days they called and said they were gonna send the car to a BMW dealer to have fixed because they couldn’t figure it out. So that weekend, which was a holiday weekend I received a call from the car rental company saying Gerber cancelled the rental the day before and they were wondering why I had not returned it. I paid for the day and returned the car.So about a week later i get a call from Gerber and they say it looks like my suspension was damaged during towing back and forth from the BMW dealer. I go and look at the car and my driver side tire was rubbing against suspension parts on the car and it look like the passenger side had a slightly bent tierod. Plus there was a bent rim and grooves in the control arm. I was told the grooves in the control arm were normal.After getting permission from insurance company to fix the car they sent it next door to Auto-lab to check and fix suspension. Auto-lab said they didn’t think suspension was bent and proceeded to try and align the car, even though Gerber tech said it looked bent and said it again after Auto -Lab said it wasn’t. BMW requires certain equipment to align cars (they require weight be added to the rear of the vehicle) and Auto-lab said they have a way of doing that has been successful most of the time. Gerber told me it was taking a little longer because they were having problems aligning the car. (hmmm maybe something is bent)Autolab said they were able to get the alignment right but had to shift the front and rear suspension to get it right.So I get the car back and notice the front bumper has a long scrape across half the front bumper and sent before and after pictures to the insurance and they said to call Gerber and have them fix it. Luckily my wife took pictures of car on the flatbed as it left the house.I was told by Gerber I would have to wait 2 weeks to get in if I wanted a loaner car. So in the next few weeks I was driving my car back and forth to work, I started noticing shaking when I brake on the highway and when I brake on a bumpy road the car wants to bounce around. this was not happening before. 3 weeks went by and I called them and they said oh we can get you in tomorrow.Take car and show them the bumper immediately tech said it looks like you ran over a curb, when I showed Gerber the pictures they then said oh ok we will get that fixed. I then told him about the suspension problems and was told they would look at it.I received a call later and was told that the suspension problems were due to normal wear and tear; that the car has 80,000 miles on it and not uncommon and that all four struts would need to be replaced on the vehicle and that was the problem. They then told my insurance company this and said they wouldn’t be fixing it. Gerber then said they would give me a quote for repairs.Ok so first thing, normal wear and tear but 3 weeks prior my suspension was damaged when my car was in Gerber’s possession. (also my car had only 66,000 miles, big difference)Also 3 weeks prior they did a alignment on the car. If anyone knows about alignments they won’t even do them if the suspension needs to be replaced. So in 3 weeks my suspension just decided to give out, not likely.So now my bumper that was painted looks great but while driving my car it feels unstable and wants to bounce off the road and with winter coming up is going to be interesting. I am writing this to make others aware of my issue before they make their decision to bring their car to Gerber in Woodhaven. I know I will never step foot in their again.Also to top it off the little plasti piece to adjust your vents on the car was broken, I went to move the vent and it had been neatly set back and fell in my hand when I touched it. I was so fed up I didnt even go back in to say anything
