Walked into Mattress Firm knowing I wanted the Purple mattress, but hesitant about the potential 5 week wait on the Purple website. Alexa greeted us, answered all of our questions, and was able to set up NEXT DAY delivery! She was so nice and helpful throughout the whole process, being especially patient during the credit check process. Definitely would recommend to anyone needing a new mattress!!

We came to the Woodinville Mattress Firm after the Purple Mattress we bought at the Canyon Park didn’t work out for us. We had such a better experience at the Woodinville location! Our sales guy, Clay, spent easily over an hour with us trying out each mattress, assessing our alignment in various sleep positions, and even figuring out the right height settings for the adjustable base. I clearly didn’t even know what questions to ask at the first time around. Definitely worth driving a bit farther to go to this location.

From the moment I walked into the door to the moment the delivery truck pulled out of the drive, I received excellent and courteous customer service. The delivery guys were clean, protected my floors, and practice safety when delivering the mattress. They were helpful and provided me with important instructions. Sales lady took the time to educate me and I have no doubt I got the best mattress.

I had such a bizarre experience here that I feel like I have to share it. For starters, I’m giving this at least two stars because honestly the store did have some pretty great prices. Only $200 for a “Snug” mattress which I’ve learned is basically a mattress topper on top of another mattress topper stuffed into a large pillowcase and marketed as something you can sleep on. This is perfect for when you get guests that you really don’t care for and don’t want them to stay very long. Where my visit got weird, however, is when the sales person Alexa started asking me personal questions and logging the answers on a tablet. This part of the experience was just plain creepy and it doesn’t seem obvious as to how this was supposed to help me in any way beyond helping me kill time. The funniest part of this visit though is that the sales person clearly farted super loud and played it off like it didn’t happen. I didn’t acknowledge that I had heard it as to not embarrass the poor girl, but I never forgot that this actually happened. I don’t know if or when I’ll ever return to this store, but I’ll definitely give them some time to air the place out!

Have a lot of information that actually legitimately helped me figure out what I wanted coming into the place. Came in wanting a bed that I can feel good and sleep on for years to come and got exactly that.

I woke up this morning cursing my mattress to the deepest depths of hell. I decided I was buying a mattress TODAY. We went in admittedly ripe for the plucking and likely could have been taken advantage of quite easily but instead, Clay took really great care of us. We really put him through the ringer going through prices, options - from one bed back to the other and he was steadfast in guiding us towards options that would work for us specifically. He probably could have sold us the most expensive mattress in the place and we’d have been none the wiser, but instead he educated us on all our options and guided us towards things that fit our needs. I had a great experience finding a mattress with Clay. I have never bought a mattress before, and the process was how I hoped and better. It was a very one on one experience, him walking me through tons of options and I had in my mind what a good bed was, and we found it quickly. Clay listened to my price point, and showed me many options there. Although I just couldnt resist one in a higher range. He layed out all my payment options clearly, and helped my specific case where my credit wasnt very built up. He stressed his availability to answer any questions and explained anything I didnt fully understand clearly. Even if you dont want to commit, I would recommend walking in here and at least getting the experience to help you find what you really want, because you will.

My experience with Mattress Firm has been overwhelmingly disappointing and stressful. I highly recommend staying away. The salespeople are very friendly and seem very knowledgeable and for this reason I made the mistake of trusting that they had my best interest at heart, however this was not the case. I came in and explained that I was on a budget and had chronic pain. I was sold an adjustable base and Sleepys bed-in-a-box which I was told would be a good fit for me. I felt confident that memory foam would be good for my aching body and did expect this to be a good choice. The mattress, however, was defective and never expanded. It was like sleeping on a deflated air mattress. I went in to explain that this had happened after a week of extremely uncomfortable nights and was questioned as if I had done something wrong. (I have now done some research and this type of mattress sometimes fails to expand. There are defects that do occur). Not wanting to go with the same brand of mattress that was defective, I had little choice in my price range. The saleswoman showed me several mattresses. The only one that seemed close to comfortable was a Beautyrest that was way out of my price range but she assured me it was a high quality mattress. I felt I had no other choice because Mattress Firm really does not stock anything in store in the lower price ranges. They are all online and she told me I should not buy online. I went with the Beautyrest, having giant price sticker shock. When I got home, I went on Mattress Firms own website to look at the Beautyrest mattress again and it had HORRENDOUS reviews, not slightly bad . Most people said it was the worst mattress they had ever had. I called back only a few hours after making the purchase and told the same saleswoman my concerns and she told me not to trust the reviews. She seemed so trustworthy in the store that I believed her. So many people since then have told me, Never trust anyone who tells you not to trust reviews. I wanted to return that mattress several hours after purchasing it but she talked me out of it and boy will I forever regret that because after sleeping on it for several nights, I was and still am in severe pain. It is hard as a rock but also sags in certain areas. It also does not fit on the adjustable base well. Last night I ended up on the couch. I called two days ago to return it and was told that it will take several months to become comfortable (I have chronic illness and cannot be in extra pain for several months) and that I should do deep breathing and stretching before bed to help, which felt very condescending as if I dont know my own body. I was told that they are doing me a huge favor by letting me return it but I will have to pay a $350 fee to return the mattress! I asked to speak to the regional manager and they never got back to me. I am a low-income person on disability who either has to keep a horrible mattress or not be able to afford to replace it at this point. I was told this information was on my receipt and yes it is in the fine print at the very end, but why is it not verbally given and why is 120 nights trial advertised all over the store? And should this be true when the mattresses are defective and when the store knowingly sells products that they know have terrible ratings that their own customers have been very displeased with? I feel bamboozled and will never recommend this store and, in fact, will warn everyone I know to stay away.

Alexa was very throughout and informative about what options I had. I felt relief once she went over all I needed to know and answering questions about my personal sleep needs. Financing wasn’t intimidating after she reviewed what to expect and was straight forward with everything.
