We had Pella sliding glass doors installed about 10 years ago. Late this summer, we decided we needed the screen door that works with those doors. Contacting the company, finding the model number and submitting our order online was very easy and the company was responsive. They gave us an installation date, which later needed to be backed up a week, but that was fine. The person who came to install the screen door was very respectful, called first, did his job quickly and efficiently, wore a mask, and covered his shoes to walk in our house. I would recommend this company anytime, this did great work.
Hired Pella to do a retrofit installation of new vinyl windows in our old wood window frames. Initial work pricing the windows went well. Very responsive and quick to provide multiple window options. However, when I went to finalize the window order interior stops and custom sills were added to each window changing the installation cost a bit. This costs should have been quoted up front with initial pricing.Installation was performed in a timely manner and I was told that the crew would do a great job. The house where installation occurred was a rental so it wasnt until ~ a year later that I actually was able to view the installation. Lots of slapdash caulking around windows. Many windows were significantly undersized leading to a large amount of lost glazing area and a lot window frame exposure. The interior stop used was ~2 deep casing that often ended up flush with the existing window trim leaving unsightly gaps between existing trim and new stops. The new stops should have been ripped down to 1-1/4 deep to eliminate this issue. As is they should have at least caulked the gap between the stop and existing trim. Texted the Pella representative with pictures of the installation and questions regarding the window sizing but never received a response from him. Disappointing installation.
I started my window shopping with a competitor company, whose prices were at least a third higher than I was willing to pay. I had a very clear picture in mind of what I wanted and how much I wanted to spend and Kayla was able to match me up with the products that I was looking for and quoted a price that was within our budget, which gave us some room to add in a steel security door that we had wanted as well.We waited maybe eight weeks while the windows were being made before installation started. Installers had originally scheduled three days for install but they completed in two days. The crew that came to the house were very professional and respectful to me and my home. I described them to my partner as perfect angels in comparison to former contractors weve had in past remodels. They made accommodations for me to work in my office for almost the entire time, with the exception of the time it took to install two windows in there. They cleaned up every scrap of waste and vacuumed around each work area when they were done, including the patio and yard and of course they left the windows spotless inside and out.Id also like to give kudos to the crew for having to do some extra carpentry on one tricky window over the kitchen sink. Previously mentioned contractors had installed a cheap vinyl window during a remodel and it had some custom trim connected to the cabinets and tile which had to be rebuilt with wood trim, it also had some awkward exterior measurements to cover up with trim. When they had installed their part and everything was level, they called me in to look at the top trim, installed by the previous contractors, it was clearly crooked and slanted down on one side! They asked if they could fix it, and of course I said yes please, they made it clear before they did it though that Id have to paint over it again because they did not paint. See what I mean, absolute angels. On financing, I opted for the 0% interest GreenSky loan while I finalized a refinance to pay off the loan afterward, which gave me the flexibility to shop around for the right refinance rate without having to worry about slowing down the window project, and that whole process went smoothly as well. Not to mention when the bank saw that I was refinancing for new windows, they waived appraisal and estimated the value of my home higher than what had been currently listed, even before the windows had been installed. Finally on the unfinished wood material. I have been stripping and refinishing original old growth wood trim in my home in order to restore some of its original beauty. I loved my adorable single pane, quarter panel top window design from the 1920s. I did not want the home to lose that charm and so the decision to replace them was an important one to me, aesthetically. They could only be replaced by wood windows and they would have to retain some of the original homes charm. The Pella Reserve window in unfinished wood material with a maintenance free exterior was perfect for my home and budget. The exterior color, Honeysuckle, wasnt an exact match to our existing trim but it is close enough. Ive stained two windows so far and I am very pleased with the color matching against the original trim.
I do like the doors, but the installation, subcontracted out, is hideous. Brown goo smeared all over the doorway, which is not the look I was going for. Also, the installation was very late. They did not meet their initial deadline. Blamed covid. Unclear what their response will be. No one from Pella checked in with me on how their subcontracted installation went. This was a $13,000 project that left ugly brown goo smeared all over everything. Clear caulk is a thing, so why not use that?
We decided to consider installing energy-efficient windows in our old but updated home. We visited with a few different vendors but were impressed with the Pella windows and, among other things, Kaylas video showing the installation process with emphasis on each step and the insulation around the window. While Kaylas presentation was certainly informative showing the construction details of the windows, the one thing that really sealed the deal for us was our visit to the Pella Bothell showroom where we could fully appreciate what the windows really looked like when installed. It also caused us to change our plan for the replacement of our French doors; we were very impressed with the sliding glass door in the showroom--and are even more impressed with it now that it is installed. We placed our order, anticipating that it would take about 10 weeks or more before the windows were manufactured. About a month later we received notice of a proposed installation date that was only about 8 weeks after our order. The installation took place exactly as scheduled; the installation crew worked extremely hard to make sure that the job was completed on time and were meticulous in their work. Given the size of our order (over 20 windows plus the sliding glass door) and the additional items (security sensors, screens etc.), it would not have been surprising if one or two items had gone astray, but every last detail was taken care of. And the installed windows are just stunning! The sliding glass door provides us with a wonderful view of our deck and the garden and allows us to leave it open using the screen, creating a cooling breeze through the house, something our old French doors did not permit.I strongly encourage all persons considering Pella windows to visit the showroom. Pictures in brochures do not fully convey the beauty of the windows and doors and the various options available; only a hands-on showroom visit can give a customer the real sense of the windows and doors.
Needed storm strips for my windows. After many emails and following exactly what to measure I placed my order for 13 of some 30 windows. What showed up was completely different from the original strips. With the exception of a small flange to fit in the window kerf they were just foam tubes that can be purchased at any hardware or big box store for a fraction of the price. By cleaning the window, the stick on strips will work great. Not only that, they shorted me by 18 inches!! A waste of time and money.
We chose to go with Pella after meeting with Kayla Dowell (retail sales consultant) who came to our house to give us an estimate for a sliding glass door replacement. She was very nice and gave us a ton of information about the company and how they treat their employees. Our door install was not installed correctly. The contractors they hired had never installed this type of door before and had issues with it. The Pella technician, Guy, left early and didn’t verify that the door was installed correctly. When we called to see if someone could come out and fix it they would not work with us on a schedule and tried to strong arm my wife into guaranteeing someone would be here at 3:30. We both work full time and it’s hard to predict traffic. We both tried reaching out for help but received no response. We are very disappointed that they could not help us make the bad install right.
Audrey Plaisance is a great asset at Pella. She was very fluid in working around my schedule and was able to accommodate last minute changes. Her recommendations blended perfectly with my style and home. She communicated extremely well throughout the entire order and installation process. The Pella patio doors are a definite improvement over the sliding doors that were originally installed. The installation team showed up on time and was able to remove and install both doors on the same day which was originally scheduled for two days. The installation was impeccable and seamlessly blends in with the rest of the home. Call Pella today and have them give you a quote - these are high quality doors and you will not be disappointed in them.
Our project was extremely well orchestrated from start to finish. Kayla from Sales gave a thorough presentation of Pella windows and doors. There was no pressure to buy. After the decision to proceed, we had a visit from Guy, who assessed the installation and addressed any technical nuances. Brian coordinated and scheduled the project to meet our requirements. The installers (Andrii and crew) were sensitive to our home, and were thorough, prompt and immaculate in their daily cleanup. For what was always going to be a massive project - 33 windows, 3 exterior doors and a patio slider - it went easily and well. If only all home improvements were like this...
They sell an amazing product and the crew stands behind there warranty.. big shout to mike... dude you always get it done.
Have not experienced any from Pella and doors. If I did then I would definitely comment my experience.
I bought a few Fiberglass windows and patio doors from Pella. Im still in the process of installing, but so far Im a somewhat disappointed (not with quality of the windows but with the issues below).1. There was about 2 week delay in delivering our windows and no one bothered to let us know. On the day of the expected delivery I called in and found out they are delayed.2. When installing the patio door we found out the screen is on the inside of the house. While there may be practical reasons for this design, I find this aesthetically unpleasing. I would have loved to know about interesting design beforehand and not during installation.3. I was surprised to find out that they dont deliver the windows to the house. They only deliver up to 30 feet from the road and no elevation gain. So they dumped the windows in my driveway and I had to carry them to our back deck.
I had the pleasure to work with Kayla Dowell on purchase and installation of new Pella window replacement. I found her to be friendly, informative and responsive without the pushy sales approach. Pella was the only window company that we found that could offer a large picture window that would open using using a hand crank. We did not want the visually distracting window bars that came with the Anderson window option where we would have to use sliders. Other window companies did not have an option for a large picture window that would open. Pella windows has an excellent team of people who work with you from sales, project management and installation. The installers layed out drop cloths, wore clean bootys over there shoes. They were extremely professional. All and all a 5 star experience starting with Kayla.
Kayla helped us find the right window for our bathroom. She was on-time, professional, and very knowledgeable. We highly recommend her.
Very nice quality windows. Very nice salesperson too (Molly).
I purchased and paid for 3 replacement windows, and I was provided a delivery date of approximately 5 weeks from the order date. One week prior to the delivery date I was sent an email that the windows I purchased wouldnt be ready for another 6 weeks! The windows should have already been made by this point, and I already had my contractor scheduled based on those dates. Based on this experience, I would avoid purchasing anything from Pella at all costs.
Just wanted to let you and everyone else know how great Jesse was yesterday. The door not only looks amazing installed correctly, but it feels so sturdy and open and shuts (and latches!) with ease. Extra bonus was that Jesse was incredibly friendly and informative throughout the process.Thank you to everyone for making it right and we will definitely be reaching out to Pella if we ever needed anything else!
We just had Kayla come by and spend a perfect amount of time going through with us all of our options. She was gracious and knowledgeable. Pella is lucky to have her on their team!
This review is based solely on the CONSULT/QUOTE we received. I have not had anything installed by Pella. (Yet.)We were able to get a consultant from Pella to come to our house the next day to do a walk-through and measure for a quote. This was a free service (not to mention easy to book online through their website!) and our consultant Molly was really wonderful. She had a bag of samples with her, a prop window, and a cool little heat lamp and heat meter thing to demonstrate the difference between the windows we currently have installed and the windows we would get from Pella. Molly was absolutely a 5* consultant and didnt mind when my husband and I asked her to quote us on multiple framing styles and window designs. That said, the window we saw was fairly basic. Now, dont get me wrong, the glass heat meter demonstration was very cool and obviously the glass panes would do a lot more to keep our house insulated than what we have. However, the framing didnt wow me. We only saw the vinyl frame, and Pella does have a fiberglass option (which looks the same), but if you want a really amazing looking window you have to go up to the wood frame option and based off of the vinyl and fiberglass quotes, the wood is far out of my price range. The window itself had some nice features that came standard, like a security stop that would prevent the window being opened more than a few inches when engaged (the point being that you can leave it open at night and someone cant open it further to break in) and it opened and closed really smoothly. We were told that there is a lifetime warranty on the windows that would cover manufacturer defects and some other things but while reading the warranty, it doesnt cover basic wear and tear or acts of God which is a pretty broad spectrum. As we have not had any experience with their builders or any windows beyond the small prop window that Molly brought, I cannot rate above four stars. However, our experience with the consultant was really amazing and if I were only rating her, I would definitely give five.
Needed replacement windows for our home. Met with two different companies. I liked working with Aubrey from the start. Kind, knowledgeable, and easy going. We couldn’t be happier with the windows! They turned out beautifully and really transformed the home inside and out. Cost was significantly less than the other company and I feel like I got better windows. Would call Aubrey again, but with the great windows and warranty I won’t be in the market for windows any time soon.
We just had 4 windows replaced in our new home and Pella did a great job from our first appointment to talk about the work, through installation. Everyone we interacted with was great - they came on time, got the work done and we are very pleased with the result!
Thank you Bothell Pella team for our wonderful new windows! The experience from start to finish has been smooth and professional. And, the new windows are fantastic! Now, its time for a new door :)
Got wood frame aluminum clad windows. Douglas fir frame. Douglas fir interior trim. Love the quality of the windows. The roller shade is great.
Kayla Dowell is excellent to work with. She responds quickly to inquiries. Arrived on time to the appointments. Gave a thorough presentation on the windows. Was very knowledgeable on the product. Answered all my questions. Kayla listened to my concerns and ensured I am getting the window that will meet my needs. Kayla let me know about a promotion Pella was having, so I was able to get the window at a reasonable price. Overall, I couldnt be happier with my experience with Kayla and Pella.
Everything about the experience of purchasing 14 replacement windows for our 1950s Rambler has been excellent. Nathan, our first contact person with Pella, was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, patient, respectful, informative, and attentive but not hovering ... just a great salesperson. The installers did an excellent job. Not only were they confident when installing windows that went in without issue, but they were also clever at coming-up with workarounds for the two windows we had that were not standard installs. And, the windows themselves are pretty to look at and they are pretty to look out of. I am very pleased with the entire experience, so much so that I have hired Pella to install two more windows. Thanks Pella!
We have a house built in 1919 and did not want modern-looking windows. Nathan Kelly at Pella came in and showed us a wooden inner framed window with classic looking hardware that really matched the house. He was able to work within our budget so that we could even afford a new front door as well. We particularly liked Nathans friendly no pressure sale. He was professional as well as personable which helped make our decision easier. We would highly recommend both him and Pella windows.
Pella was awesome. Audrey, our rep, was so straight forward and helpful, and the install was a breeze. I highly recommend them!
Kayla was personable and knowledgeable. She listened well and worked efficiently. She made sure to take into account the factors that were important to us when choosing a window. Very satisfied customer.
Our Pella windows are beautiful. We worked with Dennis and he was very responsive and knowledgeable. We even had a rush order with some screens, and he bent over backwards helping us get them ordered by our deadline.
Audrey was amazing! She showed us several samples and gave us the best recommendations on what to do for our sliding back door to make it look great, provide excellent security, and meet all of our needsShe also spent extra time with me discussing how to approach our future needs for window replacement. I will definitely be in touch with her in the near future to set up for all our window replacement needs! I am incredibly impressed with Audrey and Pella!
Customer service folks are amazing3/11/2020 Update: major rip off. They charged me $150 plus tax. They gave away an appointment that they were reserving for me and the actual window inspection was worth nowhere near the charged amount.
After waiting about a month our sliding door was installed. I find it weird that the door is a little hard to close...You almost have to push it in a little for it to close properly. After spending couple thousand dollars youd expect it to close with ease, unfortunately it doesnt! On top of that the screen door has a hole in it and we have to wait another month for it to be replaced. I get that there are other customers but why not fix what was damaged by your company first instead of making us wait again! And for the price of the door youd think itd come with an additional security feature with the pin.UpdateSomeone came out on 2/13/18 to adjust the screen door and attempt to fix the glass sliding door. All the guy did was pull the glass sliding door to try and bend the door so it would close smoothly. This seemed kinda weird as I was scared he would break it. Amazingly at the time it worked...But one week later now and it is worst then what if originally was. I really wish they would just either replace the whole door to make it work right or do something to make it work properly. Almost $3k for your product that still isnt working right. Highly disappointed in your product!
Thank you Scott and the team at Pella Windows and Doors. I have a fairly old house (late 1970s) and still have the original windows - it was time for an update. After contacting Scott, his team was out to measure during a time that worked best for me, had the quote to me promptly, and windows ordered shortly after quote was approved and paid for. Scott and his team made sure we were happy throughout the entire process and the install (7 windows) was done very quickly with no mess. Thank you Pella!
I started my window journey at the Pella showroom in Bothell where Herman Singh spent an hour with me showing their various products. This was followed up quickly by a home estimate appointment with Tony Covert to discuss my project. Tony was excellent in helping me decide which Pella product would suit my particular needs. He is very responsive and quick to communicate via phone, text or email. After these 2 exchanges I have no doubt that Pella provides excellent customer service. A top notch company with superior product!!!Michelle B
Randy did a great job replacing my windows. He even repaired another window that I showed him when he first arrived. Randy is a very dedicated member of Pellas work force. I am happy I used Pella for my windows.Thank you Pella for sending Randy out to replace my windows.
Our project may have been small, but it was a huge focal point in our home. Hayden embraced our project, he truly cared about every little detail. We have one very large Pella Window that is top notch, providing a window seat area that is beautiful and peaceful.
Sadly, a review will not post with 0 stars.I contacted Pella as I have a window that leaks. It is a Pella window, approximately 10 years old. Pella charged me 165.15 for a person to come out and look at the window. One month later, and I still have not heard from Pella regarding what actions to take to repair or replace the window. Several attempts to call Pella (during working hours, per their web page ) were unsuccessful as their phone system says it is outside their working hours. Finally contacted someone in their office and have requested my money back, to which she responded that she will have to have someone call me back. I assume that will take another month. Meanwhile, Im out 165, still have a leaky window and am looking for a reputable company to do the repair or replace. Avoid Pella at all costs!
Just recently finished up an in-home estimate from Pella windows. Seems to be a top notch product and a very professional outfit. Molly was knowledgable, thorough and personable. Very impressed....not sure if were going to pull the trigger yet but seems like a great company.
The process with Pella was great. The sales associate was easy to talk to and work with - and no pressure for the sale. On the day of our install, the installers were on time, very friendly and did a great job to install the windows and clean up everything. I highly recommend them for those looking for windows.
Absolutely flawless project management and installation quality. Nathan, the Pella Associate that we have been working with has been nothing short of amazing. He constantly takes the initiative to make sure all details are not overseen from the initial site visit all the way to the actual install. He has been very clear, honest, and friendly to our family. To the point where we feel he treats us as family and vice versa. Nathan made the entire process pleasant and we are very thankful. Lastly Jesse the installation manager and his crew have been superb. Thank you!
Pella has finished our installation! They took care of every detail and stood behind their product . Mo muss and no fuss! An excellent job from start to finish.
Love my new Pella fixed double sliding door in black with a sliding screen. It works beautifully! The black updates my home with a contemporary yet classic distinctive look and I now pull back the curtains to show it off! I look forward to updating my house with windows to match.
Audrey gave exemplary customer service. We are Quality minded people and this is not the only time we went to Pella for their Quality products. Excellent communication and follow up.
I ordered 6 windows for my home. $8000 would be the price. After fighting with Pella to remove the installation and allow us to install them ourselves to reduce the cost by $3000, they would not remove the install. And then we had to fight them to install all 6 windows. That $8000 was to install only 3 windows. Finally we got them to install all 6. Now the windows are in and there was damage left behind and now one of the windows in leaking severely. This is not worth $8000. They also told Wells Fargo (who financed us) that they installed the windows before they actually had so I was being charged for windows that I did not even have yet, 2 months before the install date. Wells Fargo had to retract the bill and do an investigation into the business handling of Pella. If you can go anywhere else, please do. Overpriced, snobby attitudes, and sloppy workmanship here. Not worth the money.
Kayla Dowell was very easy to communicate with. She understood our needs from the get-go. While we did choose another company for the install due to a variety of factors, had we lived in an area where the ROI would be there, we would have gone with Pella. That aside, Kayla knew the product, and perhaps we will work with her again.
Tony, my project manager, was great. He new exactly what I wanted and had a “mini” window to show what my real windows would look like, including the screen. It was fun to play with the window discuss hardware and exactly how the window would work. Double pane or triple pane; should the window open to the left or right, or up and down; and, just all the little detail. Yes, Pella is installing and the warranty is super! Thank you Tony and Pella!
Nate came out to my house at rush hour. He did a great job of explaining Pellas standing in the market (at the top), and provided examples of their work. Nate was extremely knowledgeable about the product and was great to work with. Nate has an easy-to-get-along with personality and is great and making a connection. Had I chosen to purchase based solely on the experience I had with the salesperson, I would definitely have chosen Nate and his product.
I highly recommend looking at Pella Windows and Doors. Working with Aaron Schmidt in the Bothell office was one of the easiest and most professional sales experiences I’ve had in all of my remodeling experiences. He was very detailed, well informed, professional in his presentation and had excellent follow up from his initial meeting through delivery. Most importantly I never felt pressured through the decision process!
We really wanted to replace our french doors, but when we started getting quotes, we got so much pushback because our existing doors were a non-standard size. We were either told it couldnt be done, or some really unattractive modifications would need to be made. We almost gave up, then found Pella. We were still a bit uneasy given the previous experience and then very pleasantly surprised by the end result. The doors are beautiful, the work was very well done and everyone we dealt with was very professional. I would definitely go with Pella again.
Lee settles helped me tune up two casement units to make them perform like new. Went above and beyond! Highly recommend!
Today Nathan came from pella windows. I was really impressed with his advice. It showed he genuinely cared about my well being. He helped me see things that I had overlooked. None of the previous sales folks from other companies mentioned that. Please keep doing the good work. I am sure in my future endeavors I will touch base with him and take his advice when I think about further door and windows upgrade
Great in home consultation! Easy to schedule and get someone out to me when it was convenient for me which was amazing. Got a lot of my questions answered and Nathan has been great about checking back in with me as our project progresses.
I have placed orders with Pella on two separate occasions, both times working with Scott Cook. The quality and reputation of Pella Windows speaks for itself. I found Scott to be professional, on time. He listened to what I wanted and made suggestions to educate me on other products and services I didnt know Pella offered. I would definitely use Pella again. Hopefully, I would get the opportunity to work with Scott Cook again as well.
I installed for this company about 5 years ago I did their windows and doors and these guys knew how the measure windows these guys knew how to call the application and the salesmen are really really cool people every time it says man came to my job site he brought me a pizza or you brought me donuts are you brought me sandwiches he paid for my lunch wow that is a good way of doing business and these guys know how to do business so if you want windows and doors done these are the guys to go through they know their stuff really good and they know how to treat people really good I mean really good they are awesome guys so if you want some really experts on Windows and Doors contact a Pella windows and doors in Bothell and they would be glad to take care of you cuz they did me and Im very proud of knowing
We worked with John Serres to come up with window solutions for a large custom home. John was professional and creative in coming up with solutions for us. He put in the extra time to get it right. The custom nature of the house meant we had to combine several different window solutions to maximize our views while at the same time maintaining the aesthetics of the home. Great work!
George is the friendliest sale rep ever, and everybody was helpful and professional. The work was done quickly and my house was cleaner than when they started!
It was a pleasure to have Audrey at my home! She was punctual professional transparent in her presentation and very easy to talk to. I would choose Pella products again if I needed to.
Love my new windows. So quiet inside now. Easy cleaning. And very stylish.
Great trade%/Sales rep. Knowledgeable and so not push you in one product but provides the right information to pick the product that meets your needs
Great experience working with Pella. It didnt work out professionally for us, (too high quality for our needs) but our tech, Nathan, was probably the best contractor Ive had the pleasure of dealing with. Very knowledgable, personable, and hosts a level of honesty unmatched by the usual contractor types. In one word, trustworthy.
Our rep was george and he was REALLY good. accommodated our needs, answered all our questions and gave my wife peece of mind.
Nathan Kelly was extremely helpful. He helped us last year and the work was done very well. We came back based on the product and his excellent service
Trying to warranty a window and they never follow up with anything you need. Finally, after weeks of trying, someone came out to measure my window to have it replaced (well within warranty time frame). They confirmed they were going to replace the window and that it would be done within a couple of weeks, depending on scheduling. Over a month later and still nothing; no one contacting me and I cant get a hold of anyone. Super sad this is how they treat their customers. I get a thousand times better service with my $4 coffee.
Zinaida was easy to work with. She is knowledge and gives you the information you want without making you feel pressured. Upfront and honest pricing and great customer service.Update 7/12/2018: While my experience with the salesperson (who is no longer with the company) was fantastic, everything that happened after was a disaster. Our windows were ordered 10 weeks in advance and yet when installation occurred, they didnt have all of the interior trim (they failed to order it), one window was broken upon the installers opening the packaging and the other the installers broke during installation. The only time they apologized was when I shamed them into it. The manage customer service in a reactive way rather than a proactive one. Our installation was June 5-8, and the soonest they were able to repair the glass was 7/12 (it was 7/27 but they moved it up when I filed a complaint with BBB). The trim was ordered the week following installation and when they arrived on 6/25, the installer arrived and discovered that the wrong color was ordered so we are now waiting until 7/25 for the trim to be completed. The windows were $30,000 and they have treated us poorly this entire time, and they only rose to action when I filed the BBB complaint. In fact, I spoke to the manager the day I filed the complaint and even though it had been three weeks since the installation, he claimed it was the first he was hearing of it. There are so many other (better) window companies out there. I regret using Pella. We already had some pella windows in our home and ordered replacements for the remaining 14 so that it was consistent throughout the house. Know that if you choose them, you are risking a similar experience. Quality customer service is important and you will not find it here.
Early into a significant winter reno project, the main contractor advised of some unforeseen problems and we had to look for some urgent solutions. After research we settled on Pella and visited the showroom. Soon thereafter,Nathan Kelly made a visit and rose to the occasion to provide fast solutions and then modify them late in the evening, based upon feedback from us. The result is replacement windows in 3 rooms and very impressive doors opening onto a deck. Cold wind and rain ingress all a memory now. Oh, and they look good! Great job Nate -Stephen F.
We have Pella windows and doors thru out our house. We started a remodel of our kitchen and decided we needed a different sized window.I went on the Pella website and was able to make an appointment the next day and was lucky to get Kayla Dowell. She was very knowledgeable of the various types of windows that would fit our needs. we were able to place the order that day and she was able to get the new framed opening measured and ordered the next day!!! I Recommend Kayla Dowell to anyone!!!!!!!!
I have always known Pella was a wonderful brand but dealing directly with the company has been a stellar experience. Nathan has always answered emails promptly and had come out tho the job site several times to make sure the crew has been doing their job. I had the pleasure of working with Jake and Brad, who were friendly, efficient, and clean. They worked long hard hours for me, without complaint when they ran into structural issues. Thanks Nathan for everything! I LOVE my windows.Denae B. Shoreline Wa
Excellent service and great quality.Have had Anderson windows in the past but switched to Pella because rep Hayden educated me on quality differences.
I have had the pleasure of working with Aaron Schmidt while ordering my Pella Impervia Fiberglass windows. The ordering process has been relatively painless thanks to Aaron. He has been very knowledgeable and always double checks to make sure what he is telling you is correct. Because we arent building your typical home Aaron went above and beyond to find us rare examples of homes similar to mine and helped us understand exactly how they will be attached and the best window for our specific building. Couldnt be more happy with my experience. I look forward to working with Aaron again when one of my 3 rambunctious boys undoubtingly breaks a window😁. Thanks again, highly recommended!
John Serres has provided us with amazing service and a great product for over 15 years now. Clients really like interacting with John as he is known in the industry as a window expert and always has a cost effective solution to present, which clients really appreciate. Our job site superintendent has over 40 years of experience and is extremely picky to say the least, so when he says the Pella customer service team does great work that really means something! Nice job John to you and your service team.Mike Ghali - Regency West Homes
Randy was great. On time, fixed problem, and offered helpful advice. Well done!
Molly was awesome product sounds great and we had a no hassle buying experience
Pella stresses their Superior Quality & Service. Theyre expensive but we thought the quality & service would be worth it. The only reason theyre getting 2 stars is because of the gentleman who came and initially installed our door. That was on April 19th. The door was missing the trim, so he said they would order it, it would be about 2 weeks and they would come right back out and install it. Its now May 11th. The door trim still hasnt been replaced so we have the lovely foil insulation showing, and the soonest they can come out is May 30th. Thats their rush date. I had to initiate all of the follow ups and was met with nothing but excuses. We could have paid a lot less for the door and gotten at least if not better service. Make sure youre aware of what youre getting.
The customer service provided by Aaron Schmidt was exceptional. Quick response times and thorough explainations of the product.
Very good experience. Aaron was knowledgable about the product, took the time to answer all of our questions and was prompt in getting pricing to us. We look forward to working with him on future projects.
In 2013 Patrick Rumez sold us a kitchen door through Pella doors. We have slugs entering under our threshold and when I called to see if a repair person could make the gap under the door smaller so that the slugs could not get inside our kitchen, I was told that our address is outside of service area and would cost $75.00 just to look at it. We spent several thousand dollars on this small sized, simple door. I think Pella door company is treating this issue unfairly and with no regard for the integrity of their expensive product and I will warn friends and family not to purchase anything from Pella door company. Lousy service . Renate Pinch.
Would have selected 0 stars if possible. After several attempts to resolve an installation issue (window does not close properly and wont lock), we STILL have not had a resolution. Have made several calls across several months and still have not received ANY support. If you are in the market for new windows for your home, look else where. Worst customer service experience ever! Theyll take your money, complete a shoddy install job and youll never hear back from them again.J.H.Federal Way, WA
I went to the Pella Windows booth at the Seattle homeshow and described my dismay at being unable to access my sliding glass door from the outside because it had no lock. Molly gave me a Pella door quote but also said many doors have a lock module added. She had me send a photo of my door latch and she identified the brand (which was not marked). I called a local window company who installed a lock for $75! Molly didn’t get this sale but she certainly gets my thanks for her expertise and customer service!
The Pella Promise is real. We researched various suppliers and contractors before selecting Pella to replaced our 38 year old aluminum framed windows with fiberglass. At Pella everyone is an employee, you eliminate the middleman and have great warranty protection. The Work proceeded as planned and was well executed. The crew arrived on time, worked hard each day, were friendly and courteous, took care to protect interior and exterior finished and demonstrated a commitment to quality. We want to commend George Blanton for his sales experience and advice, Balinda Chiles for her contract administration and Sam See for his leadership of the install crew. The windows are beautiful and very well made.Based on that experience we also selected Pella to replace our entry door. Once again they performed the work with a focus on quality. We would highly recommend Pella to anyone interested in quality products at a reasonable cost and dealing with people who are committed to providing excellent customer service from start to finish!Mike and Trish Feldman - Renton WA
We have worked with John Serres at Pella for over a decade and dozens of projects. The attention to detail and customer service are second to none compared to any other window manufacturer we have installed in our homes since 1992. Not only the design input along the way, but through installation, service, and homeowner warrantee John has always been there to make sure we were happy as the builder and our homeowners were very well taken care of. I would wholeheartedly recommend John Serres and Pella windows to anyone that values a quality product and top notch window expert.
We have been to over a dozen window and door stores in Washington over the past week and our best experience by far was working with John Serres at the Woodinville Pella and Doors. We have a very costum patio door and John was able to creatively find the most affordable solution for our needs by working with Pella and locally sourced companies. We were so impressed with Johns level of professionalism, promptness and industry knowledge. If you are in the Seattle area, we highly recommend making a trip to Woodinville to Pella Windows and Doors to find John who surely will help you find what you are looking for and at the best price. Thank you John!!!
We live in a remote location yet still got a service tech out very quickly. They identified the problem and got the replacement ordered right away.
The worst costumer service Ive experienced in a long time. On hold with the most obnoxious music and voice prompt saying someone will be on shortly every :45 seconds AND yet no one ever comes on to help. Cant get through to anyone in service or sales. What is up with this?
Get Mike the install manager to help you..... Id you can. Hes nothing short of awesome
No one answers service phone calls or emails!! WORST customer service.
Poor follow up to request to address our main back doors that I am unable to lock. I called C/service three times and they promised to have a serviceman call by but after one week, no show. This is a risky situation as we cannot lock our back door.Kirkland, WA.
