Is there six stars? They all did a great job welcoming me to town

Id rate twelve stars if I could. This is an exceptional store in every way that matters. I am very impressed with the cleanliness, the organization of inventory, and knowledge and professionalism of the staff. Most places Im better off just fending for myself, but here I have been helped by very knowledgeable people that genuinely added value. They knew the inventory and had real world advice on using it. Even saved me money.Also, in obscure nuts and bolts and fasteners, etc. This store has the largest selection of any store in memory. Kudos to the management and crew on a great store. Well done. 12 stars if I could.

This ace still have the same old orchard feel minus the deals. The workers are very knowledgeable and helpful. Prices are the usual ace standards. The plants looks very healthy compared to home depot. Everything was very clean and signs were clear and straightforward.

Amazing customer service! I needed the window screens for my house re-screened because the birds destroyed them. Tom did the first 5 in less than 2 hours and the next day 6 more in about the same time! Thanks so much for the great service!! Would definitely recommend Woodland Ace!!

Very large selection of equipment, tools and wares for maintaining a home or business, indoor and outdoor. Great look. Clean. Very friendly staff. Very happy to have this Ace store here in Woodland.

A good variety of stuff. Always has what I need when I go here. Unfortunately the bike lock cable I bought from here failed to deter the thief from getting my bike..... Its not Aces fault though

Best selection for many types of hardware (screws, bolts, washers etc). Prices are a little higher but have lots of options. Store is clean and organized.

Grandson and I shopped for annuals and soil. He pushed the cart, pretty well through the store for a youngin. We were greeted at the front of the store by a friendly employee.

Horrible,never have I felt so discriminated. Ace really needs to train their employees regarding inclusive diverse population! Language barrier s should never be an issue! Especially when you are bringing hundreds of dollars to them of revenue!!

Great selection compared to some of the smaller Aces in the Yolo/Sac area and a fantastic garden section. This Ace really utilizes its extra square footage.

If you have or love to bar b q, Ace is the place! They have one of the most well filled supplies for your summer Q. Everything from seasons,sauces,to smoking woods and charcoal and beyond. Absolutely a one stop for your grilling needs.

Best nursery in town

Amazing! Very helpful. Went in for BBQ and smoker wood that no one had, and they had everything and more! Was BBQ/ smoker heaven. The guy that works the area even went in the back to look for some wood I really wanted to smoke with. Prices were very good as well. I know we miss our OSH, but Ace is just as nice as they were if not better. Highly recommend.

At this Ace Hardware, landscape plants are available in excellent condition from outstanding area nurseries. I even successfully ordered and received a 15 gal tree with absolutely no hassles from the friendly staff. The woman (Sarah, I think) who manages the plants is a resource for the community; she stocks very good plant choices for our climate zone. After living in Davis & Woodland for the last 23+ years, its the first time I have had the pleasure to shop locally for my landscape plants. My only reservation - its a small plant nursery and so the numbers of plants and varieties available on hand are relatively small. Hopefully with more patronage, this part of Ace Hardware of Woodland can grow.

Ive been going to ace for plants and home necessities but when I visited today the of houseplants seem to have doubled. What was once 9.99 is now at 23.99. More established plants are 59 up. Artificial plants are lookin pretty good.

I like ACE better than the Orchard it replaced. BUT.... Im sad to say the people who work in the aisles are not nearly as knowledgeable about the products as they need to be.

Good place for shopping for hardware stuff and plants

Again superior service, my needs were met and Im really happy the paint department has a huge selection of colors and brands. Everytime I shop here I have a wonderful time, so friendly, helpful, and anxious to assist me. Thank you Ace hardware, you ROCK!!! P.S. I recommend checking out the paint department as their prices and selection beat Sherwin Williams plus Ace associates are not rude. Cant say that about Sherwin Williams store in woodland. Keep up the great job Ace.

The bbq section is amazing!!!! Also had some great service for some lighting questions I had. Prices are a little higher than other places, but great store with great service.

After asking someone up front where something was and them not knowing what I was asking for AND after them saying they would send someone to me, I went to where the employee was supposed to meet me. Waited, waited, waited. I called the store (yes, from inside the store) FINALLY someone showed up. They didnt have the item I wanted. I used to work for an Ace Hardware store and we sold what I was looking for. So five stars is now 2

This Ace has pretty much the same inventory and high prices as the Orchard Supply that previously occupied the same building. But, unfortunately, they do not have the helpful, knowledgeable staff the previous store had, which many times justified the higher prices. They will hold your hand, but you pay for that.

The staff is always helpful and kind. I plan to be a loyal customer for a long time.

First time I felt rude service. Employee in charge (?) Of department. Situation was a piece of plexiglas that had been previously cut. I found one the size I wanted, but asked how much the cut piece was. I was told it was the same price as the bar code scanned at. This made no sense to have a large size piece the same as a cut piece. Employees came across as angry and was told that it was ACEs policy.Its your nickle, but all the greeters, employees staff that dont know or have no clue of products & common sense is a place Ill shop carefully or drive to Davis

A fantastic addition to Woodland. Looks a lot like the old OSH, but thats okay; the old OSH was beloved. Having another really nice hardware store fills a real need.

I was having trouble finding a hose connection I needed. An Ace employee named Chris helped me find the part that I need. He was curtious and helpful.

Big brightly lit store with a very good selection of items. Top notch for a locally owned hardware store.
