UPDATE: 5/17 Ash requested the paperwork from Honda, that included the code that was being read. He said he would share it with his mechanic though he has not heard from him yet. The only resolution for me is for him to take the car back for fear of what other issues will be found when they open up the left side curtain airbag to replace the airbag. His response to me, “I don’t take cars back!“ Understandable if I had the car for any length of time beyond a few minutes. But I contacted him as soon as I was able to park the car to tell him the airbag light was on. Since he offered nothing to help, I took it to two mechanics in the following days who both told me the same thing. It car has been wrecked and the airbag was deployed but not repaired. He did not disclose this to me. Just know, he has no faith in his own vehicles. Take anything you want to a trusted mechanic before you buy. I am lucky I wasn’t in an accident in this car. I only continue to fight this because I would never want someone to get hurt because of Ash’s unsafe cars. It’s a buyer beware world if you do business with him.5/14 The car I purchased from Ash is UNSAFE as the airbag might not function properly. Honda has inspected the car and despite a clean CarFax, anyone with knowledge of cars can tell this car was wrecked. I have learned so much. Though Ash has said he wants to make it right on this review, he has returned none of my phone calls despite knowledge of an issue with the airbag for 5 days saying I have to remove this review. I am happy to report if he does right, as that’s a quality we all hope for in someone we purchase a car from.PROCEED WITH CAUTION! This is a HUGE WAVING RED FLAG! Do NOT recommend!What don’t I recommend about Automotive Solutions South you ask? Take a seat.Ash Kamel was polite and eager to show me the 2015 Honda Accord I called about and I was out a couple hours later to look at the car. He had the keys ready for me when I got there and I took it for a ride around a few blocks. When I returned to the lot, I backed the car into the parking spot and noticed that the rear back up camera was impossibly blurry and I was unable to make out anything behind me. He was standing there and I said some thing about how there must be wax or a film on the camera because it was very blurry and he conceded that it must be wax or some thing because he had driven it for 400 miles himself. He showed me the Carfax and it included all the service records and no record of it ever being in an accident. He raved about how wonderful the car was, because remember, he had driven it for 400 miles! I decided that I was ready to purchase the car. Here is where we see the true car salesman. As soon as I drive off the lot the airbag light comes on. I text him and let him know and he tells me that it was not on when he drove it. There is no offer to take a look, or help me in anyway. I owned the car for less than two minutes and was already regretting it. Less than 24 hours later it is in a shop. They read the code and it tells me that there is excessive pressure in the curtain airbag. I now have to take it to Honda tomorrow to see if this is something that they will assume responsibility for and fix or if I am going to have to pay close to $2000 to fix it myself. There is no way he didn’t know this was an issue. The light can be reset but it will come back on. And here we are.Oh, I remember that blurry back up camera? It doesn’t have wax on it. It has water inside of it. This is a small thing, but he knew because he drove it so many times. And rather than be truthful, he instead chose to go with what I said when I assumed the best, which was my fault. This man cannot be trusted, and I would never recommend anyone go to him. He was deceitful and offered nothing to make it right.
