I go there because of its convenient location. It is actually not a very good Jewel. Better ones in Crystal Lake, Huntley, River Forest. I understand Woodstock Jewel is in a different management group than the other 3. Wish the could move it into the Chicago group and make it better.

Wish they would get the pork roast in auju gravy/ juice made by Hormel and the frozen hash browns patties (like McDonalds). The deli workers are the best! I got what I needed on my list.

They love to notify your Rx is ready. Then, you show up to wait 30 minutes in the drive thru for the team to actually fill it. ITS TOTALLY NOT THE MEMBERS OF THE TEAM. ITS THE DUMB UPGRADE THAT NOTIFIES YOU PREMATURELY. BUT ITS VERY UNPLEASANT.

All in all probably one of the best grocery stores Ive ever been in.

Jewel in Crystal Lake is always overcrowded and its hard to find staff to help you, even if you are in the same aisle as they are. If you ask an employee for help, they act as if you are interrupting their work, instead of being the reason they have a job. Coming from a customer service background, this is disappointing.

Some of the staff have horrible attitudes and are really good at ignoring the customers.....while others make up for the bad apples in the bunch

While this Jewe-Osco is set up differently than Crystal Lake (my Jewel), it is clean, bright, well stocked, & the staff is just as willing to help as they are in C.L.The young lady at the service counter exhibited SO much patience & empathy with me (it was the end of my long day & I was cranky) & she made my day a little better. Ill be shopping in Woodstock more often because of moving to Harvard. So, there will be more Wdstk area reviews will be comin from there.Cheers.

It is a selfish 5. I found information, that Signature Select 5 cheese frozen pizza worth experiencing. Was on sale!

I prefer their water from their 5-gallon jug refill station to anywhere else in the area (my neighborhood has terribly hard water). Other than that, they are a decent neighborhood grocery. A little more expensive than Walmart, but they have much better produce.

I went in there for a hot rotisserie chicken and was not disappointed! The meal was only $11!

Did not appreciate the attitude of the young man telling me I can’t take 2 door dash orders because it’s Jewels policy. That is absurd and rubbish. The app sends me orders (sometimes multiple at a time) and allows me to accept them. This has ALWAYS occurred through door dash. It is not up to the vendor in any circumstance to decide how many orders a Dasher can take. It took almost 10 minutes going back and forth with him to receive both of my orders from him. Do better.

Alot of stuff is out of stock and the sale just started

Nice place to shop. Lots of products. Nice deli with a good variety. People are friendly.never really crowded due to the virus. Have a pick up that I tried once and was effective. We also had one delivery that worked well.I look for how stores adapt to the surge in the various areas like the deli and checkout. If the wait times are short I will come back especially when resources are shifted to where the demand is. Time of day is important also. I am happy with jewel and the drug area. Prescriptions are handled perfectly. I use the drive thru and 9 times out of 10 I am next with no waiting. But I can go when I expect people are at work so I am not in the way when they get off.

Very nice and clean. Jewel is just not my store. I shop at Jewel when all else fails or if some great deals are going on. Jewel is too high priced for my budget and many products I buy else where are still a few( more than one $ or two dollars) cheaper than Jewels $ale price. Friendliness isnt their goal in my opinion. Get checked out, hurry up and take your change because in my cases cashiers are already scanning the next customers items.Unfortunately, I am NOT a fan of Jewel..

Visited at 9:00pm last Saturday night, I was unable to purchase top shelf liquor because the staff didnt have the key to unlock the cabinet with the top shelf liquor. Settled for Svedka instead of Grey Goose because Svedka wasnt locked up in the cabinet. Seemed silly that they were unable to sell top shelf liquor on a Saturday evening.

The store is great but their bathroom are really dirty that does not show good sanitation!!

Its expensive but convenient and people that work here seem nice. One personin particular named Garrett was exceptionally helpful.I like the beer selection.

There are other markets with more prepared food and trendy junk, but The Jewel has everything and its just easier to deal with.

Is it too much to ask if your going to change how you can enter the store at night to put up signs for out of towners and y is jewel produce always gross and expensive. I am not paying .99 for a half squishy cucumber the size of my palm. Going back to Meijer.

Clean, well stocked and organized. All employees are very helpful and friendly. One particular butcher goes exceptionally out of the way to make us feel at home each visit. You know who you are!!

There beer selection is great, but watch the dates, some are old. Helpful and thoughtful staff. Better selection of groceries than Walmart. Organic section always seems to have stuff on sale.

The produce is always fresh and I love getting my seafood from Jewel!! Its my go to store!! For the last few months Instacart has been going to Jewel for me! Im happy to be going back to shopping for myself.

It was a normal visit, I think it might have been an eve. It was crowded but the lines moved fast. They are more expensive than Woodmans. That is where I normally shop.

Produce wonderful, employees are friendly. I give employees 5 stars but only two non express lanes were open so traffic jam in the isles. They opened another Lane and the lady was super fast. I wish I got her name. Probably need to think about opening an extra Lane or two on the weekends.

As you all know, were having a public health crisis. In response to this, most all grocery retailers have set aside hours for those 60+ or immunocompromised. I fall into these categories. For Jewel Osco in Woodstock, IL., these hrs are 7-9am. I presumed that Jewel had adjusted their store hrs, as many have. Upon arrival today shortly before 7, I found the store opened at 6, and had approx. 100 shoppers, many of whom were young or early middle-aged. Almost no one was following distancing protocol, brushing past at a foot or two away. I found this to be very inappropriate and disgusting. I had to leave promptly, and checked out with ONLY 2 cases of water, enough for a couple weeks. The clerk was very nice and asked if I had found everything I was looking for, very bizarre question for the times. I explained the fore-mentioned to her(a veteran) and she replied Well Im very sorry, but its only a recommendation to the public. My comment is this, why put the policy in place if youre Not going to comply ? I find this location to be very unsafe and irresponsible. Im sorry, but moving forward, I will do everything to avoid patronizing the Jewel store in Woodstock, IL.
