I have had the pleasure of being a customer of Music & Arts in Woodstock Ga. for the past several years. Everyone there have been helpful in every way. We recently bought an electric guitar and amp. They worked with us to get the best deal on the best equipment. Carley Shirley, the store manager is one of the nicest people I’ve met in a long time. Great store great prices and most of all, Great service!
We have purchased from here and we also get lessons from here. The instructor is awesome and the staff is always friendly and ready to help. Not a huge selection but they do have plenty to get you started out they can order what you need. When I drop my kid off for lessons its a perfect time to get groceries in the Walmart.
Ive been here a few times, and they have a big hiring problem. They are stealing the best people from all the other jobs. Either that or the musical kids are just the best... Either way, this place is truly a diamond in the rough if you know what I mean.
Cailey went above and beyond for us. We needed several things, and her store had one. She called other stores to get our items, had them shipped to her store, and called me when they arrived. We will definitely be shopping there again.
Very knowledgeable staff. Knowledgeable beyond their years, in fact. They don’t stick a lot of products, but I’ve always had a good buyer experience there. Ask for Cat; she always remembers my name and greets me whenever I come in for strings. I recommend them.

A great experience! The staff there is very knowledgeable and passionate about what they do and sell. They take their safety guidelines very seriously but still offer exceptional service. Today I got a ukulele (I went in knowing nothing other than I wanted to learn how to play) and Cailey took the time to go through all of the options with me to see which would be the best choice for me.

Staff was very very pleasent. They helped me find the sheet music books I was looking for and were honest about whether or not something was of good quality or not. I didnt catch their names, but the blond guy was especially helpful. They made me wanna go again.

Cailey S. helped me tremendously when I went to the store on 3/25/2020. She was amazing! She tuned my guitar and showed me how to use a tuner, she certainly took the time and she was such a very pleasant person. She should be the next in line for promotion. Shes great with customers. People were very helpful and thorough when explaining how to rent the flute I needed for my childs school. Knew what they were talking about in the way of different instruments and went out of their way to get me the right instrument.
Awesome. Friendly staff and a great experience. They had strings for my 12 string guitar which was nice. While they werent my preferred string, they were priced great and its my fault I was in a pickle for them. Thankful these folks were there.
Tyler exemplifies customer service at its finest. I went in today looking for strings and a case for my sad guitar that has been sitting in my closet for over 10 years. He sold me strings and a case. When I told him my concerns about my guitar, he encouraged me to bring it up and let him help me with the strings. I went back up with my guitar-- He helped restore life to my guitar. He changed all the strings while reminding me/showing me how to do it. I wound up buying a tuner, a strap, a cloth and cleaning spray for the body. All things I needed and had lost along the way. Thank you, Tyler for being an excellent salesman but mainly for offering the finest customer service Ive seen in a long time. Ill be back for all my music needs.
Tyler is fantastic! I ordered a guitar that when it came to the store had a manufacturing flaw. Rather than thinking i would have to deal with the manifacturer, Tyler ordered a new one. The new one is perfect. Tyler provides excellent service. He is also knowledgeable and is easy to work with. He has earned a loyal customer.
Tyler was tremendously helpful when I needed some help with restringing my acoustical guitar. I havent touch it in years and he was a great help in answering my questions and helping me out. He is to be commended for his great customer service skills and pleasant personality.
We picked up a guitar from a thrift store that was in rough shape. We were just gonna get some strings and take it home for my son. We brought the guitar in with us and Cailey helped us pick some strings out, cleaned the guitar, did some minor repairs, and strung it for us. I was impressed with her eagerness to help us out, and the guitar ended up sounding much better than I expected for a cheap thrift store find.My family has been coming to this store for nearly then years. Initially it was just convenient because it is inside the Walmart we shop at. But over the years we have never had a bad experience with them, and they have always been willing to do more than I expect to help us out.
Cailey and Tyler were amazingly helpful. They went above and beyond my expectation. I do wish they could have their store name posted outside the Walmart they are located in; if only to bring more awareness to this store and team. I was able to place an order, get our guitar strings put on and sign up for lessons. Both of them were attentive and knowledgeable. We are looking forward to our future lessons as well. I did try filling out a survey using the website listed on the receipt, however that link did not work.
I dont recommend visiting this store while in this crazy epidemic. They have gone way over board locking things down. You must where a mask, which I complied with, but you are not allowed to touch anything? The associate was animate she could only touch things. Absolutely ridiculous, I walked out. Ill never buy from them again. To many other options.
I would like to thank Cailey for all she did to help me. Made a great suggestion as a gift for my grandson. Which help me so much. But she went out of her way to call different stores to find the item and then went out of her way to go and pick it up at a different store for me. Thanks for all your help. Great sales person.
Tyler was so helpful and went above and beyond. I went in with a broken violin string and he took the time to explain all the levels of string and why it matters. Then he replaced them while explaining what he was doing, so that I could do it myself the next time. While replacing them, he took the extra care to clean and polish it - clearly he cares about instruments.When I entered, the store was empty, but 3-4 groups entered while we worked (in 10 minutes) and he took a moment to greet and smile each one. When I mentioned that the store closed soon and he suddenly went from empty to busy, he replied ‘that’s okay, I didn’t have plans tonight.’ He was willing to stay as long as necessary.It’s so refreshing to see employees willing to go the extra mile, and care about what they do. I was skeptical about a music store inside a Walmart, but I’ll be back for our next need.
The lady who waited on us basically turned us down on every option we had to schedule a fitting for an instrument. She didnt have very good customer service skills. Seems if she wanted our business she would have said let me see when we can do this for you. I realize it is a busy time of year but it is not the customers fault. I called the Johnsons Ferry store in Marietta and was met with a much friendlier response.
Cailey is awesome!! I walked in, LITERALLY 5 minutes or less before closing. I wasnt wearing a mask (oops, sorry) so I wasnt able to physically enter the store. Cailey personally picked up all the items I was looking for and even moved shelves around to show me more options. I stood outside the doorway and she communicated and helped me through the whole process of buying a new guitar and and informed me/educated me on each produc . I really appreciate your great customer service and for going above and beyond for me!!! thanks so much.
Went to this location to rent a Cello because that is where the school told us to go. Despite calling to confirm they have every size Cello available, upon arriving, I was told by the Associate that she does not have anything to size my child for a Cello. When I told her we were sent to this store and if she can’t help us we would have to find a store that could, she said she was sorry that she could not help us and allowed us to walk out of the store. Will not be renting or buying from this store ever!
I would NEVER recommend this place to anybody. I preordered a guitar through them a month in advance. When i went to pick it up, I was informed I wouldn’t be receiving it for 6 more weeks. I immediately had them cancel my order and I ordered it online and received it in 3 days later. Fast forward 2 weeks and Music and Arts CHARGED ME FOR MY GUITAR ANYWAYS!! Will never be even walking near this store again.

What a pleasant surprise to find this store in Walmart. Cailey was extremely knowledgeable and honest about the products in the store and she went out of her way to guide me through the process of buying my first violin.
They helped purchase the wrong size violin for my daughter the first time in person. Then when I ordered a 2nd one on the website they cancelled my order without even letting me know. When I called them I was told there was nothing that could be done.

They tried several times to take $800 out of my account for rental. Had to cancel my bank card-
Watch Your Bank Account Or Credit Card Statement If Renting From Them. They Randomly Charged My Account For About 6 Times TheAmount Of The Normal Rental And When I Called They Gave Me An 888 Number . I Called Them And They Said It Was The Collections Department So After Being On Hold For Over 20 Minutes They Finally Found Out It Was A Mistake And Will Credit My Account Back In 2 To 3 Days.
Will not use them again. We had a signed contract for a rental and after several months, they realized that they made a mistake on the pricing. They did not honor their agreement and changed the terms and we had to pay higher price. Signed agreements mean nothing to them.
