I did not end up buying a bike from here, but I did have an excellent experience working with Bacon. Plans just changed for me. Would definitely recommend this place!!! Bacon is a stand up guy. -Jer
A simple tire change took over 3hrs because the service secretary (Adam) told the tech to have them done by the end of the day even though I was standing there waiting for them, Adam walked by me and my friend multiple times and didn’t say a word other than an 2hrs into the wait he told me “we only have one tire machine so you gotta wait your turn”... The tech had no idea I was waiting for them until one of the other employees asked me what was going on and addressed the situation. Woodstock is normally good people to deal with but this experience costed me a lot of time and $110.00 for said wasted time.
As a shop owner, I tend to be picky about where I shop and who works on my bikes. I was very pleased with the way this dealer had handled a situation that had arisen. I appreciate you standing by your customer, and holding true to your word. That is hard to find in modern times. Drake, Bacon, Tom & Cody thank you for your dedication to your service. I appreciate you. I will make sure others know about your willingness and desire to help always.
Overall, the worst experience Ive had with a business. We brought our sons dirtbike in back in March for a full diagnostic to ensure it was ready to safely ride. A part was on backorder for 3 months. My Husband located the part and had it shipped from Australia. Upon reviewing the receipt, they had forgotten to reimburse us for the part...this was the 1st strike. The day that we got the bike back, my son was riding around for 10-15 minutes in the yard before the bike began to overheat. There was no coolant!! They did not add coolant after stating the mechanic triple checked. They rebuilt the engine. We paid half of the bill due to a few other repairs that were needed and seals were all being replaced....2nd strike and just a huge mess. The day we got the bike back again, we were up at the tracks and the bike would not stay running without the throttle being held down. There was a crack in the clutch cover assuming it was overtightened. My son did not ride that night. Then we discovered oil leaking creating a puddle on the floor. I contacted KTM and it took a week and a half of me going back and forward before Doug agreed to meet with me. It was hell trying to get any answers from anybody. Yesterday my sister in law, myself, and three kids went to KTM and its safe to say I will never return. Doug, the Owner, was the most unprofessional and disrespectful human being I have encountered. He became very defensive when his work was being questioned. Needless, to say we left without the bike being fixed.
Put effort in to get a response regarding a bike. Despite calling multiple times and being promised a call back. Finally get a hold of a person and that person acta like somehow I should better understand how busy they are. Errr.... Anyways, wanted a ballpark trade in value for a brand they carry and guy prefaces it with oh, those bikes no one wants. Cheap sales tacticts. Next day no response to info and pics. I ask again and get a snappy list of questions about the bike. Nothing related to ballparking. No apology for non response. Anyways, feels like another Chicagoland stealer ship so no thanks. I walked away from the dialogue, dont want shady people that treat you this way before youve even purchased.
Ordered ignition cover cap for my exc500 live two hours away they got it over to me ASAP looking forward to getting my bikes serviced there.
Wow what a huge selection both bikes & product, super friendly staff! I went searching for a KTM dirt bike & found a whole lot more. They were hosting something outside that had a great turnout! Will be stopping back as these folks are very active on the dirt scene around these parts 😁👍
Just purchased this awesome 2017 KTM 1090 R from Woodstock KTM. Special thanks to Dan and Curt from the KTM showroom and Shelly from the HD showroom. Everyone involved was courteous, helpful, knowledgable, and professional. This is my 5th motorcycle purchased from Woodstock. Im always greeted by name and receive the best personal service. I highly recommend dealing with the great staff at Woodstock KTM!!
100% glad i didnt spend my money there. Nothing like sitting on hold for 20 mins just for someone to pick up the phone an hang up. Not to mention i attempted to purchase two KTM 500s with zero call back three weeks prior. Dan on the Harley side seem to care about 5% all he cared about was my last name( he asked me 3 or 4 times in a 90 second conversation) this is what happens when you mix the dying motorcycle manufacture (Harley) with an off-road/race orientated company such as KTM. Sorry not sorry Woodstock KTM $24,339.75 spent on two bikes else where an another $7,267 spent on accessories at another dealership...
This dealer it is a shame in the motorcycle business. My advice: if you need motorcycle service look for another motorcycle motorcycle service or dealers.
Weve bought several bikes from them, they are very helpful and make you feel like family! Weve recommended them to several friends that ended up buying there bikes from them. Great People!
THANK YOU TO THE WHOLE STAFF INVOLVED IN MAKING A DIRT BIKE PURCHASE FOR MY SON A PLEASURE. (charlie, drake, michelle) HIGHLY RECOMMEND WOODSTOCK KTM!
Thank you Doug Johnston and Ken Weinstein for all the help you offered me when my bike broke down on my way to Colorado last August. The bike breakdown and Greyhound bus rides back home were not exactly highlights of my summer but your personal attention and genuine thoughtfulness definitely were. You both went out of your way (when I was tired and not in the best mood) and tried your best to help me continue the trip. You made me see the positives in a lousy situation. If you are ever in or near Hamilton, Ontario, you have a personal guide for the area and a place to stay (you have my number). Thanks again & Take Care.Mike KellyHamilton, Ontario, Canada
Close to 3 hours away, and I have been up there twice, and I can call and tell them what I need and they are on it. Great service. Great people!
UPDATE: Its been about a good month and this still has not been resolved!! Still no title, no callls, no updates! NOTHING!! They were quick to respond to my review but not the actual problem. This place has the absolute worst customer service ever!! They sold me a bike in June 2017 and still cant produce a title!! I call and they say they will look into it and someone will call me back and Nothing! I have called this place every single day and its one excuse after another!! I wouldnt reccomend this place to anyone.

Took my 2007 superduke 990 in a couple months ago, I asked them to fix the oil leak, fix the rear break because it was loose, an oil change, and reset the timing chain. I picked up the bike 8 weeks later and the timing chain wasn’t done, they had to take it back in and work on it for 2 hours when my friend and I just stood around, then I get 1/2 way home and the bike still leaks oil from the seal I asked them to fix. Then 2 months later I’m trying to take my exhaust off because I ordered an aftertermater one and the bolts are so tight no matter what I try I can’t get them off and now they are stripped. Going there has just caused more trouble then help.
