I had cabinets installed in my laundry room, over 10 years ago..They were nicer then my kitchen cabinets. Over the decade I am still very happy with the cabinets. I am getting their number off line again.To have them do others cabinets in my house..Company also installed 5 Pella windows..Everything was affordable, great quality, and wonderful service...

We recently had a large remodel done on our home. We expanded our kitchen, had a laundry area built on the main floor, as well as adding a barrier free shower to an existing half bath. At the start, we werent even sure what we wanted was possible, but KDI was with us all the way. Jeff Rydlicki basically held our hand through out the entire process including design, picking out cabinets, flooring, fixtures, granite, the whole nine yards. The crew that came was always very respectful, friendly, on time, and, most of all, they did AMAZING work, always having our best interest at heart. Communication was always on point, and the job was finished on time, as promised. I could write a book about how happy we are with the finished product. As a matter of fact, were hiring them again, this spring, to remodel our main bath. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to remodel their home!

I love my kitchen!! From beginning the process to the end result KDI staff handled everything professionally and quickly. The KDI consultant was very helpful picking out cabinets and the quartz counter top assisting with making sure it all matched the paint and flooring. He worked hard to keep me in my budget area and was never pressuring me to spend over what I could afford. The builder who installed the kitchen did a fabulous job. He never left any mess, stacked everything neatly when he finished for the day and he did the job really quickly. I would highly recommend KDI they are a top notch company and gave me exactly what I wanted.

5 star for this company, they did my kitchen counter top and backsplash. It was installed and I chose my counter and tile in a timely manner. With the reviews on here Im surprised to see them. The staff is great to work with.

KDI remodeled our kitchen. I now love it! We had countertops, sink, cabinets, backsplash and lighting done. Our salesman, Jeff, had all kind of helpful suggestions for our new layout. They let you borrow cabinet doors and 12x12 quartz samples! That made such a difference to me. Being able to see it In the space before deciding was great. I would recommend KDI.

KDI installed a new kitchen for us in 2016. We found KDI personnel to be both knowledgeable and professional. Their staff helped with the design and layout of our kitchen, added some upgrades, and did a very nice job with the installation. Their selection of cabinets and counter surfaces was extensive, and they were very patient as we tried to decide which we liked best and which fit most comfortably into our budget. KDI provided a timeline for the entire job and the job was finished as outlined. We had 10 lower and 6 upper cabinets installed with two counter tops and the two man crew did a very fine job. We would recommend KDI to anyone interested in improving their existing kitchen. P.S. KDI installed our kitchen for less money than a quote we received elsewhere for cabinet resurfacing.

My wife and I had an wonderful experience with KDI. We got our cabinets last summer and loved them ever since. We went near closing time and forgot our checkbook. They stayed there until we got back. We were just shy of a promotion but they gave it to us anyways. Got the cabinets maybe 3-4 weeks later. They are gorgeous. Great quality, well made. Definitely worth the wait. Will recommend to friends and family.Get the soft close door option. You will not regret it. It takes a while to get used too.

They are great. They helped me order new cabinets and helpless with the layout. They have excellent products with excellent quality. They are always really helpful and nice. Their cabinets area able to carry the weight of granite countertops with ease.

We are extremely happy with our new shower enclosure. When the installation team pulled out the old enclosure, they had to move the drain pipe and the water line was not connected to anything. They did all the work to make sure everything was where it should be and that it was fastened properly. They also reinforced the sub-floor to make it more sturdy. When they installed the new enclosure, it was/is absolutely beautiful and works very well. It looks like high-end granite. We love it and thank you, KDI!

I had my kitchen remodeled last summer. My whole house was covered in dust. On Thanksgiving day my new garbage disposal leaked and fell off. TODAY, my kitchen sink separated and fell down about 1 inch on one side . It was rigged up in place with wood shims. It was improperly installed. They broke other things, such as ductwork, and walls around my home and left them like that. The whole process was a disaster after the contract signing period expired. All caulking is cracking. Ive had to watch several youtube videos to fix their idea of professional installation . I wish their installers would have watched some dang YouTube videos prior to doing the work they did. I highly recommend you find any other company because yes Jeff talks a good game and Joe talks into the wind.

KDI converted our basement half bath to a modern full bath. My husband now has a Mans Bathroom for his Man Cave. His comment to me - FABULOUS! THANK YOU, Honey. KDI did great work, started and finished when they said they would and cleaned up their mess. When I redo the kitchen KDI will get my business.

Scheduled an appointment to either get my kitchen remodeled or get a full addition on my house. There salesman came out and said he would have to come back with an engineer in order to give me the correct quote. When the second appointment came around the same salesman came without an engineer and claimed he would call me later. never happened... never heard from them again. probably for the best. I wouldnt want anyone doing this job that is incapable of doing it.

Called them for an estimate for both my kitchen and bath. Someone came and took measurements and notes. They said they would get back to me with an estimate.That was now about 4 months ago.I called them a few time and they seems to act very strange as to WHO exactly did the estimate if at all. No one offered to come redo the estimate.Got to give them 1 star because they dont even seem to care if they want my business to start with.

KKID did my kitchen & bath. A wonderful job! Fast, on time & clean workers that made my jobs a pleasant experience. Would recommend them. Plan on having them do flooring for the rest if the apartment.

As I read through the other reviews of KDI on this site, I am shocked at what was said and wondered if they wrote the review for the wrong company. My experience with KDI could not have been any better. My grandparents were looking at getting new counter tops in their kitchen and as lifetime Downriver residents, wanted to give their business to a family-owned Downriver company. As life happens, grandparents are generally not the easiest customers to work with. They went in with zero idea of what they wanted and the patience and customer care that KDI displayed could not be duplicated. My grandparents visited the showroom practically every other week, full of questions and often changing their minds. For the rest of our family, this was a tedious process of them trying to come to a decision of what they wanted for their kitchen. The staff at KDI continued to be patient, informative, and exceptionally kind. The owner himself was available by phone and in person when questions arose. When my grandparents finally made their decision it was near Christmastime and KDI was, of course, quite busy with holiday jobs. However, KDI still came out to measure in a timely manner. While measuring, my grandmother was complaining she couldnt find a paint color she liked and the KDI employee suggested a color he used in his own home, which she ended up loving and using herself!! Installation began within a week and the job was done with precision and care. You cannot see a single seam in the counter top and my grandparents could not be more thrilled with the job. Anyone who can provide excellent quality service to some of the more persnickety customers deserve to have their praises sung on Yelp. Often people hop immediately on the internet when they want to complain and have someone listen to them. It is those who are happy with the job who dont feel the need to write about it and instead invite all their family over to enjoy a meal in the new kitchen.

I went through KDI because they were cheaper than anyone else on our vanity and countertop. they were able to meet our needs.

If you like poor communication and unfinished projects, then KDI is the contractor for you. I had them redo a shower and they initially estimated 6-8 weeks out for installation. After 14 weeks I called them and they finally got someone on it. Here I am one month after they started and I still dont have a shower because I had them bid the job with a glass door. Upon completion of the tile I was informed that KDI doesnt install glass doors and that would be up to me to find someone who does. I will never use them again nor ever set foot in their showroom again. Dont trust anything their sales staff tells you.

We needed to re-bath our bathroom so we found KDI coupon inside a Value pack advertisement that we usually receive at home. They were proclaiming the Biggest Fall Sale Ever. We called KDI and made an appointment for a free estimate. No one showed up. We called again and made another appointment. Again, no show no call. This is an indicative of non-professionalism in this company. If they cant honor their appointments, how can they honor their work? we will do business with someone else.

I called two kitchen and bath outfitters that I had found on Home Advisor. The designs they provided were boring and inefficient. Then I call KDI. Their design for our master bath was unique and exquisite. Their workmanship was professional and much better than I anticipated AND they worked with me on my budget. Everytime I walk in the master bath I smile. I highly recommend KDI and would not hestiate to use them again.

My wife submitted a request for a quote on their website, which went unanswered. After a week and a half, she called to set up a quote for a master shower upgrade. Jeff came out and was very professional and said they were extremely busy and he would try to get the quote to me by the end of the week.I called KDI twice to inquire about my quote over the next 2 weeks with no success. Jeff called me a few days later and was less than professional, but did email me the quote later that day.Their price was about the middle of the line compared to other quotes I received.

Good if the cabinets are in stock and you have someone else install them (too expensive otherwise) Horrible if you specialty order. Waited 9 weeks for 4 cabinets. Would hate to think if it were a whole kitchens worth!

There is a reason that 4 out of the 5 reviews on here have 1 star. I am writing this on behalf of my parents because they are not internet savvy. Our story is similar to the others on here. They had a small bathroom redone that called for 10-15 business days to be completed. The job took over 3 full months to complete. We had to beg, call, call again, wait for contractors, have the wrong contractors come and beg some more to get the job done. The unprofessional-ism, lack of communication and overall poor workmanship was not only unfair but also a major problem for my family members who had to keep missing work to meet them as the job kept going over schedule. To add insult to injury, the owner agreed to meet my Father in person to finally discuss the project for a post mortem and he was a no call, no show. I would not recommend them no matter how nice their showroom is or how much they promise to you.
