The lady I spoke with was rude, and not good at customer support.They don’t seem to value customers just focus on $$$. There was no talking through a bill or bend. I have a just over year garage door that quite working, and it was $89 for a service call that took 5 minutes to fix. Wonder if they could of waived that one to keep a customer.oh and the bills are net 10 even though I never agreed to net 10.

Called in June because cable snapped! Was told they had to order part and would be back in a few weeks! 3 months later it finally was fixed! I know parts are hard to find but a call would have been nice! Once they finally called to put me on schedule I asked for a quote! The lady I spoke with couldn’t give me quote and kept trying to talk over me??? We were told service fee was 75 but invoice left service fee 127.50

What a great experience! We had another company come out first, and they tried to upsell us on a bunch of stuff we didnt need - we only had a broken tension spring. Sent them on their way and called Bouma Brothers. Dean came out quickly, fixed the spring right away, and even took care of our broken weather stripping along the bottom of the door and replaced a broken hinge for us on our 30-year-old garage door. Excellent service, very fair pricing, and Dean was awesome! Personable, funny, and you could tell he really knew his stuff. Would absolutely recommend Bouma Brothers to anyone needing garage door service.

Bouma Bros fixed our garage door spring this week. They did timely work at a reasonable price. No salesman-slick, just knowledgeable service.

I do apartment maintenance and we had Bouma Brothers put in 15 garage doors for us. They put them up in record time which I attribute to their knowing what theyre doing as opposed to just running around trying to get done in a hurry. The workers were incredibly friendly and happy. The most impressive feature was their willingness to work with us, obstacles were nothing, they just worked around them.

I had my garage door fixed same day I called. I believe the price was extremely reasonable as they went above and beyond what was asked within 8 hours after my call. Highly recommended by others to me and now I will recommend Bouma to friends and family.

Great customer service! Called on a Friday afternoon, was told the repair would occur by Tuesday and it was done Monday by lunch time! Very quick repair and our garage door works better than it ever has. I felt like the price was reasonable as well! We will definitely use them for any future garage door needs.

Bouma installed the garage doors/openers on our new build about six years ago and did a great job. Earlier this week I went into the garage to discover the spring had broken on the garage door for my car. I called Carol at Bouma and she was not only able to get someone here the same day, but he arrived by 1030am. The work was performed promptly at a fair price. I recommend Bouma to anyone for sales or service needs. Great job!

We needed a new garage door opener control, so I went to Bouma Brothers just before their office closed for the weekend. I was greeted very friendly and they found the right controller for me; but more importantly they took time to explain how to set it up and program it. By following their detailed instructions I was able to program my controller and use it immediately Great folks and for any problem with our garage door I will contact them!!

Called to schedule a service call after fighting with our garage door for the better part of a month. Rather than just taking our money, they first gave us a few tips for how to fix it ourselves – which, thanks to their clear direction and spot-on analysis of the problem, we were able to do! They also mentioned that they could be out there the same day if we werent able to fix it ourselves. Fantastic service. Definitely earned our business the next time we need it.

We called Bouma because we have used them for 30 years now when our garage door opened didnt work. They came out the next day and installed a new opener. We love it. If is very quiet and works great. Just had a great experience with Bouma Bros. Although it started off a little rocky, Steve, the door technician, did a great job. He reschedule his appointments to get me in and was in and out in under 20 mins. PLUS, the final cost (parts & labor) was cheaper than the service cost alone of other companies in GR.

Really great service, couldnt be happier. We had a cable snap on our door on a Thursday evening and the door wouldnt close correctly. Called first thing Friday morning and Bouma Brothers was able to send someone out by the end of the day. Not only did they fix the cable, they also lubricated the door and made sure everything was working perfectly. The door was fixed and operational by the time I got home from work, and works better and more quietly now than it has in years. Not only was the work top-notch, I found the bill to be quite reasonable. Will definitely call Bouma Brothers again if/when I need service!

These guys are great and I recommend them all the time. I have had more than one situation with my garage door, once a broken main spring, the other an adjustment with a new code box. I just leave my service door to my garage unlocked, they come and take care of the issue, usually same day, for a reasonable rate. Highly recommend them, they are local, organized, and know what they are doing.

Poor service, bad experience. Called to have my garage door fixed and the experience has been nothing but a headache. It took a couple visits and they never fixed the problem. I ended up doing the work myself. I never saw anyone from the company. I almost thought I was scammed, but I think they did the work with good intentions. I had trouble paying the bill because the whole thing was upsetting. They left messages saying they where going to “give the bill to some people” and I ended up with a note on my door saying “please send paymeat, Dale” Super creepy, unprofessional. Technically not illegal, but towing the line to harassment. You’ve been warned

The recent repair they did was shoddy, it only lasted 2 days, all they did was offer the replace it, They may be good at replacing, but are poor at repairing. If looking for garage door repairs look elsewhere.

HORRIBLE. They slap on a product that was less efficient than my old one. When I called to ask them why this one wasn’t up to par they state “they are all made that way now.” When I tried to call to speak with a manager to discuss other possible options of products...no response. Called 2 times. Got plenty of excuses for why he hadn’t called back from staff. That is AWFUL customer service folks. I won’t ever do business with people that can’t find the time to call back! RUDE. This after being a customer for 30 years. Going to precision garage door in the future.

I had lots of questions and I called several times to make sure that Bouma Bros. was capable of completing the job I needed done. I decided to schedule the job and took vacation time to be there for the install. I did NOT receive a confirmation call the day before my appointment so I called to verify. They took down my name and number and needed to call me back. I never received that callback. Now, day of service, nobody showed. Called and found out I was NOT on their schedule. NO APOLOGY OR REMEDY TO THE MISTAKE WAS PROVIDED (I was speaking with the owner at this point, thats sad). After going back and forth with the owner my conclusion was that Bouma Bros. did not want my business. Overhead door came to the rescue - no issues straight forward busniess with a quick turn around time.

Very very disappointed with my service. They installed a new garage door motor and drilled it into drywall not studs. Of course it fell off. I had to wait 4 days for someone to fix it. Not even a year later it fell down again. Staff is extemely rude and left trash and cigarette butts in my garage. Never again!

Just stopped in and brought my opener. From there they were able to get me a new keypad in just a few minutes.

Horrible experience. I called to have my garage door serviced because one of the wires come off the track and it would not close tight. They said they would look at it and to leave my garage unlocked the next business day. They came and left a bill (no estimate or call to explain the charges). The door worked for two days and the wire came off the track again. I called and complained about not signing off on the estimate or approving the work, and the fact I was having the same issue. They came again (free of charge) and “fixed” it again. Two days later, same problem. I ended up grabbing a friend and then YouTubing garage door repair and fixed the problem myself.I will say this... I had trouble paying the bill. I didn’t like the work they did or the fact I didn’t approve anything they did. In the end, I did the job myself. Someone from the shop showed up at my house while I was at work and taped a noted to my house saying “please pay us, Dale” with a copy of their unsigned invoice.Do not use this company.
