Definitely wont ever step foot in this place again. I should have listened to everyone that told me not too. Just go elsewhere and save a yourself a headache.
Pete is the one who helped us. Very nice guy and knowledgeable. Owens is quite a ways out of my way but I will be returning to buy even the smallest things like oil. The entire establishment appears to be a great place to conduct business.
The best service around. From Ray in the shop to Tony and the guys at the counter .
Great staff, not much inventory ( not their fault)
Very helpful, lots of motorclothes and to my surprise they still have their Revolution for sale
I just can’t say enough good things about this shop and the staff that Dwayne has hired here. I had traded in a motorcycle for a Harley they had for sale here and had a great sales experience with Kevin. All my questions were answered and those that didn’t have answers were either found for me or I was told that he didn’t know; which is appreciated. When you can look your salesman in the eye and ask flat out if they would buy the bike they are trying to sell you and get an instant no BS answer, you know you are dealing with a straight shooter.I had my bike for just under a couple weeks when I had a failure on the back end while riding. I was fortunate enough to get my back home in the garage and gave Owen’s a call the next day. I was told they would have a trailer down that day to pick up the bike and figure out what went wrong. I happened to be the victim of the last owner unfortunately and it would not have been anything either Owen’s or myself would have been able to know without working on the bike unnecessarily.None the less, they got my bike fixed and then some. During the failure there was a small amount of cosmetic damage to the swing arm that they were also able to have replaced for me.Terry in parts was great about being upfront about the process and the scope of work that would be involved as well as making sure I knew what worst case scenario would be.I got a call from Jake, who also works in the service side of the business, a week ahead of schedule and was told they would be getting my bike trailered back to my home.I couldn’t be happier with the outcome and I would have no problem suggesting to anyone I personally know that they deal with Owen’s Harley in Yakima.I typically err on the side that people are usually willing to help until you give them a good reason not to.I really feel like this day in age with all the costs involved with correcting the issue I had with my bike; that Owen’s truly did go above and beyond for me which is a breath of fresh air.
Very Helpful in the parts Department.
Been doing business with Owens since they were in the old building. Always treated fairly, honestly, and with respect. Bought everything from a quart of oil to a new bike, & a crate motor. Lifelong customer. Thanks to Ogly for the great service
Really nice roomy place. Very professional employees that knows all about their profession. Motorcycle and atv and specialty atvs in the store situated like a show room so you got room to browse through their variety of vehicles. You can get service or parts and buy merchandise associated with Motorcycle and atvs.
Love my new coat...
Called ahead with specific helmet model/make/size before driving out an hour one way.Im sure it wont be an issue sir.Upon showing up, there were 2 pieces in stock, none my size. (Scorpion AT950). Mediocre.Looked for common spark plugs: CR9E, only had 2 in stock. Mediocre.Probably fine if youre looking to buy an HD vest with rhinestones or something equally lame. Mediocre.
Fast fun bunch of people there
Best Harley Dealer in the State!! If you want excellent service with a awesome value Owens cycle is your spot!!
They had the part i was looking for and at a good price, very nice guy behind the parts counter, and everyone was very helpful
Not helpful at all to buy a $60.00 part but cashier was good when we bought a bike bell also we try not to shop there because there are known gang members working there one named Ray that my wife is afraid off
Cops and snitches shop here be careful
Spent time showing me some different helmets and ordered 1 for me and picked a pair of goggles to fit helmet
Excellent experience gathering what I was looking for. Extremely knowledgeable & helpful staff. Will definitely be back again. Thank you!
Carlos was a joy to work with. All of the staff were pleasant and attentive.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND - THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST! I was travelling and my rear tire was getting iffy, so I called all around from Vancouver to Yakima looking to get a new tire installed same day. Owens was the only shop that had one and wouldnt take a week to get it put on. Special kudos to Troy in Service and Pete in Parts, and especially to Lance for doing the work! They treated me like a regular on my first visit, so I will definitely be back! A+++
There are some great things about this dealership but there is one important detail that needs improvement. My husband is a Harley owner and in the past 10 years he has owned both new and used Harleys. I believe he is on his 4 or 5th bike. A few weeks ago he went in to purchase something nice for me as he does often, clothes etc and the gals at the check out desk are always helpful and friendly. He always Looks at all the bikes and even sits on some to get a feel. He did this time too. It was a beautiful brand new $30,000 bike. He sits on it and is looking at it. You would think someone would come over and at least talk to him. Well, he didn’t even get a smile or a nod from anyone. The sad part is, he is never asked if he has any questions or needs help by the sales staff at this dealership while looking at bikes. It makes me sad that he is treated this way. We have actually purchased a brand new Harley and a couple used Harleys at Rattle Snake because every time we go in we are greeted and treated with respect. I hope some one reads this that realizes it’s important to treat everyone with the same respect as other buyers who they may know or whom may look like they have the funds. Someone is going to get a beautiful red, white and blue Harley but not my husband because no one gave him the time of day there. 🥲
They really listen to their customers. They are also willing to explain and go into details if needed. They seem to respect your property and treat it like they would their own. We felt comfortable leaving the bike with them, its in good hands.
What great service! Gerrid was thorough in helping me find exactly what I needed. 😊 Clean and well put together place!
Had a flat tire just outside of Goldendale on a road trip yesterday. Got towed to Yakima to their shop. The next morning they installed a brand new tire for me and I was able to continue home on my road trip. Thanks to Jake and other guys in the service department for quickly getting me back on the road!
Nice local town Harley dealership. Glad I paid a visit. Bought a few things.
Huge thank you to Dwane and Troy!!!!! You guys rock! you saved our day! Had a code throw on our RZR on our way to go riding and you guys where our saviors and got it reset in no time at all. Now we are on route to enjoy this beautiful day in the mountains. Thank you guys again. We owe you guy. Next time well bring coffee and doughnuts 😉Kylee PatnodeJohn Ray
Their service department and manager will screw you over! Be careful dealing with is company!
Great service and accessories! Gerrid is the man!
The staff are good and acknowledging you as you enter. Their snowmobile gear I purchased was priced to compete with online prices or better. They were able to answer my questions on how products performed.
The staff always finds the parts I need for a variety of motor cycles and 3 wheelers 4 wheelers and snowmobils I own. Always friendly and have a great selection of accessories. Its fun to go in and see the new toys they have on display.
I was on a trip from Ontario Canada and they helped me out with my stretched chain in amazing time (I called the day before). Even helped us find a great place to eat while we waited. Fantastic people and looked to help anyway they can. Good selection of gear and new and used bikes. Thank you to Terry and his team for takin good care of some Canadians on the loose.
After riding on the back of my husbands bike for the last few years I decided it was time for my own. I want to thank Kevin, Sally and Dwayne for making it the best and smoothest purchase ever. Kevin was amazing in answering all my questions and not being pushy. I told him i needed 24 hours to make my decision and he respected it. Kevin was gone on a work trip when I made my decision but he made sure that Sally and Dwayne took care of me. I couldnt be happier!
They were so great my trike was towed in at 4p.m on a thursday and by 10:30 a.m I was back on the road. I cant say enough about them. You gotta stop by there store.
SOS sending out a plea for great non-Harley service. The experience probably a great if you own a Harley. Terry in the service department is great but Im not sure hes surrounded by the same caliber leadership or staff.
The staff are really great
Terry in service and Troy the service technician are why I will buy my next snowmobile from Ownes. Two absolutely fantastic people to deal with who went above and beyond to help me with my current snowmobile. Made the 1.5 hour drive completely worth it. Thank you guys!
Jared helped us find a motorcycle jacket for our son and went Above and Beyond of regular customer service!!! Thank you so much Jared!!!
Love there quality service, especially in the parts department Mike and Carlos are great. Duane’s a great GM and great at customer relations.
Super impressed with Owens Cycle. The front tire on my KLR debeaded and pinched a tube out on the road, leaving me stranded. Owens loaned me some tools to get the front wheel off, and then when I took the wheel in, expecting to have to wait a day to get the tube replaced, they told me they could knock it out there and then. 15 minutes and $40 later, I was on the way again. Im so impressed at Owens and how above and beyond they went for a stranger that I will continue to support them for whatever I need. Good work, you guys.
Great service
I went in for a new wallet and came home with a new motorcycle. Lol
Took in my Honda Goldwing...happy they took it. Have a great reputation. They are not a Honda dealer but came highly recommended....will let you know more when I get my bike back.
Sam was very personable and he made me feel at ease. He knows his products very well and answered all my questions without hesitation. I cant wait until the end of May so I can get my Ranger!
Great motorcycle dealership. The staff are cool, helpful people. Many varieties of bikes and apparel.
A LOT of selection
TROY DID ME AWESOME TO GET MY QUAD FIXED AND READY TO RIDE FOR OUR 4TH OF JULY VACATION! ALL THE OTHER PLACES SAID NO AND IT WOULD BE 6 WEEKS OR MORE JUST TO BRING IT IN. THANK YOU OWENS CYCLE FOR YOUR AWESOME HELP!
Great customer service, cant wait to go back and ride away.
Excellent service
Looking at snowmobile helmets and wasnt sure which to buy. Carlos told me I could try 1 I was most interested in and if I changed my mind I could simply bring it back. Bought it Friday they were closed Sunday & Monday and tursday I was charged a 20% restocking fee. Over $60. Total BS.
Really great Harley dealership. Old school type. I am from Albuquerque, NM. Never have done business with Owens Cycle.Took our 2015 Tri Glide in because the trunk lock fell out. They fixed it on the spot (I have extended warranty, but it is a $50 deductible type). NO CHARGE. Service Manager, although young, is extremely knowledgeable. EVERYONE was super friendly. Made me feel like a long time customer. Then the General Manager noticed I did not have a Law Enforcement Bell. I asked if I could purchase one. He responded that you can only get them as a gift from a friend. So, he bought me one and put it on. And, he gained a friend.Sure wish they were in Albuquerque. Great dealership with the customer being the number one priority. This is one of the few old style motorcycle shops around. Not like the Super Dealers who function like car dealerships. Thanks Owens Cycle.
Because of all the people, its a place for the people, they are there to help you not only find what you need, but what fits your needs, they also contribute greatly to the community, I have many friends who have enjoyed many hours, of riding guality cycles, you can find many items, from of gear, to even some favorites, like blink!!! 😉
Great place lots of fun and exciting new bikes quads and parts you name It they probably have it for motorcyclists. Great people always friendly atmosphere. They sponsore fun events for the community yearly great company.
Not sure if this is the place to snowcheck a new sled. They are $1,700.00 more than another dealer. It took quite some time to get a price. I was told the GM made the comment, I dont have time to mess with that right now, we will deal with it in the morning. He offered me a jug of oil and 10% off parts. Are you shi----g me- I dont need parts, its a new sled with a 4year warranty I dont know about anyone else- if I am spending $16,000.00 on something - I shouldnt have to continue to call to earn their business. They should be earning my business. We were going to buy two, so much for that. I guess I will go elsewhere. Why bother selling snowmobiles if Harley customers is all you have time for?
Owens cycle is at the bottom of the list. I purchased a used bike that the sales staff and service staff gave high remarks about even knowing there may be future issues. The bike died on the trip home. Was told I couldnt ride it like a normal bike because it had upgrades. The bike was returned 2 times to get fixed. The third time it was taken to my local Harley dealership and diagnosed with internal motor problems. Owens refused to assist in the repairs due to the fact it was taken to another Harley dealership. As per Harley Davidson Corporate office....a Harley dealership is a Harley dealership. I only had the bike 6 months and had constant problems.Harley Davidson stands by theyre products. Its a shame not all of theyre dealerships do. Owens needs better business ethics.
I took my Zuma 125 to Owens for a break in tune up last summer 2015. Saturday morning first come first get service. Very professional yet very casual. They did a great job! In and out in a little over an hour. When I go to purchase my next bike. I am going to Owens.
Bought my 2nd Harley at Owens. Had such a great experience as a customer I decided to come work for them. 13 years and counting.
Purchase my 3 new harley. Great customer service, great service department.
Came looking for a Harley 2 years ago, sales person was Kevin. 2 stars is for the experience that I had with him, and the 2 stars are only there because he delivered the bike 😂😂 I had my eye on the Harley Street because it was flat black and seemed like a good bike to start riding on. He proceeded to tell me that the Street was what all the guys in Sons of Anarchy rode (I couldnt have cared less, seen one episode of the show, but have since found out that isnt even true 😂) and really hustled me hard through the buying process, I had to pry all of the information out of him as it was happening. As a new face in the credit world signing my life away, he was really trying to get me for whatever he possibly could. I wasnt very worried financially and ended up signing for the bike at 24% interest with a projection of paying more than double what the bike was worth in the end--thats how it goes, but I had to get my dad on the phone a few times to help me communicate with this guy and figure out what the hell was going on. I had pens pushed at me multiple times with no communication whatsoever. I am now a very successful credit user and get bikes for around 5% and will never go back to Owens for them thanks to this desperate guy. ;)
Let me tell you a story, on Tuesday, May 14 at about mid-morning I called Owens parts department, spoke with Tony, and said I need a new chain for my 2004 Yamaha TW 200. Tony does some typing on his computer, says he thinks he has one in stock and goes to check and confirm. Returns to the phone and says he has it, asks if I am in their computer system, which I am and says he will have it set aside. Later that same day I stop by and purchase, only $15, great deal. The next day I decide to get my motorcycle fixed. I open up the package, wrap the chain around the drive cog and feed to the rear wheel, around the rear sprocket, attempt to connect and the chain is too short. Place the chain on the work bench next to old chain, sure enough, old chain is 121 links, new chain is 120. Drive down to Owens, explain to Tony the chain is too short. Tony responds, “I was afraid of that, I didn’t know what length you needed, so I guessed, thought a 200 cc motorcycle wouldn’t need a chain longer than 120 links, we don’t have that size chain in anything longer than 120 links.” Now here is where I went wrong, I should have said, give me a refund and I will go to the other motorcycle shop and buy the 130 link chain, but I didn’t. Tony goes to the back and returns with a misc. parts box, gives me a 3 link in my size chain and says “cut 2 links off the new chain, purchase this master link, connect this 3 link chain I am giving you and you should be good to go.” I reluctantly purchase the master link and go on my way. I get home, cut 2 links off the new chain, and attempt to connect the links given to me, however the 3 links are a heavy duty chain and the master link pins are not long enough to put the plate and clip on it. Back down to Owens, which is 9 miles each way from my house, again explain to Tony the problem and then request a refund. I explain if I was piecing this together with misc. parts, I would expect to pay junk yard prices, but I am not, I purchased a new chain and would like it to be completed correctly. Tony replies he can’t give me a refund as he is unable to resell the chain as I cut it. I tell Tony, he sold me the wrong chain to begin with, as he “GUESSED” which chain I needed and then he told me to cut it. Tony goes to the back parts bin and returns with an Offset Link. He graciously says he will cover the cost of this and it includes 2 master links. He instructs me to reattach the 2 links I cut off, attach this Offset Link and it should be long enough. Back home I go and try again, now the Offset Link has a shoulder on it and is different than a typical chain link. I attempt to put the master link on it and the shoulder prevents the plate from completely setting flat and I am unable to get the clip on it. ATTEMPT #3 FAILED. By this time it is close to 5 and need to start cooking dinner. I tell myself, first thing in the morning I will return the Offset Link as I don’t want to bankrupt the Motorcycle shop, they couldn’t afford to refund the chain and I want don’t want them to say they gave me the Offset Link for free, and it really is of no use to me. The next morning I am at Owens shortly after they open, wait for the next available parts person, and ask for Tony, the parts guy responds “it is his day off, how can I help you.” I give him the Offset Link, secured in the original packaging and explain Tony gave this to me the previous day and doesn’t work. The parts guy responds, “oh yea, you’re the guy trying to piece together the motorcycle chain.” I am fuming inside and think to myself, no I am not trying to half-a** a chain on my motorcycle, you guys are half-a**ing it all by yourself. I say nothing, place the package on the counter and walk out.I drive to Premier PowerSports and get the chain I need. What did I do with the original chain you may ask, a $15 dollar lesson, and it is hanging on my shop wall. Anybody asks about ‘the chain on the wall’, I will tell them about this experience.
Always a great experience at Owens. Ive been a customer since 1977 125 RM days.
A great place to get motorcycl equipment
Would had given them zero stars but you can not do that.....Worst service department in the Harley Dealership network. I took my wheels in to have new tires mounted. They tell my I need a new rear wheel and that they would order it. It would arrive in five days. I call in five days to see if the wheel had come in. Ooops...we forgot to order it. The excuse I got was they have some new shipping and receiving guys who dont know the system. So they next day air the wheel. No phone call when it arrives. When I do call they tell me they will get to it next week. So I went down got all the parts put the wheel together in an hour and will have the tire mounted by another vendor. This is not the only problem I have had with the service department just the most recent. In the end I will never spend my money in that dealership ever again. This is too bad because they have some great parts guys there, Cory is very helpful and should not be lumped into this review. Overall, go somewhere else you will save time and heartache by going to an out of town dealership or ordering online. Shame on you Owens.
Clean, easily found what I was looking for. Nice friendly people.
Went to pick up my windshield in and out. Nice..
They do great work on bikes other then harleys
Service department is terrible Ive called them for multiple quotes and they consistently tell me I will get a call back within the hour and I never do. I dont understand how they try to portray a trust worthy buisness if they cant return a simple phone call. Management needs to do something about this because theyve just lost another customer.
Friendly staff. Patient and informational with new riders. Prices are in line with the rest of the bike world. The real stand out thing here is how comfortable your made walking through the doors, like this is home.
Ive purchased all my bikes & four wheelers from owens.Great staff from service, parts & sales.Always very helpful. Thanks Kevin for my last quad for the grandkids
Great people. Good prices. Lots of choices.
Always enjoy going to events at Owens they care about their customers and the community.
Helpful, friendly, non pushy staff. Lots to choose from.
Amazing place always have what I need and very nice Thanks!
Over flowing with great bikes, four wheelers, clothes, parts. Outstanding sales staff, awesome service dept.
Very good experience. Tony was focused and very helpful. Found and purchased the right helmet for me.
Great selections, makes want to buy a Harley Davidson, even though I cant touch the ground or reach the handle bars. Great helpful staff.
Very friendly and customer service oriented staff!
Love owens great people i always love looking around and wanting to buy it all.i bought my used yz 80 2 stroke there and many assories i am a very happy customer
The service department is laughable. I called a week and a half ahead to get a appointment setup so someone could check out my bike and I wouldnt have to wait a long time. Sadly their system failed, I came in on the day that they told me (in which they did not give me any specific time for drop off). When I showed up they said that my appointment was not in their system, meaning that my bike goes to the back of the line, behind all of the bikes with appointments. I left my bike thinking that because I called in a week ago that they would hopefully get it done quick ( I just needed an inspection) after the bike sat for 24 hours with no one even looking at it I was tired of it. I recommend if you are getting service here to call them several times before you go in to make sure that they actually got your appointment scheduled (cause either their computer system failed or their employees did). As for me Im done with them I will be taking my bike to the tri-cities to get it serviced.
Excellent Customer Service
I just walked in and they changed my oil while I waited. Dude working the service counter was great
Stator went out on my bike the week of my wedding. Needed it in 2 days. They said get it in here or do you need it towed. Got it in there and back out in 3 hours.
Got a great deal on an 06 katana talk to SamMade a great bday gift
This dealership is a complete ripoff!!!I paid approx. 8000 dollars to get out of a 6 year contract. On a NEW side by side. They told LIES to make the sale..Less than 100 miles for 8000 dollars. Is that FAIR????they are NOT looking out for you. I will write more everytime I make a payment on a machine I do not have!!!! Iam back to tell you of the time, the day I left the shop, went to the first trail at bethell ridge, got stuck in shallow snow drift. Tried to use the NEW, winch. Hit the button and the entire wire harness, started to SMOKE. Took it RIGHT back, 3 weeks later, I find out the so called mechanic, has screwed a mounting bolt straight into the positive terminal. causing the SHORT!!!I have Many more stories of this dealerships crappy, service. MORE TO COME!!!!!!I am back to add to my story. Did I also mention I could NOT get any money, or even store credit, for the approximatiy 3,000 dollars in Parts and options that I paid CASH, after the original purchase. Many parts NEW, in the box... I have been dealing with BBB. Also law suit is possible??? Much More to come!!!Let me also add, When I sat down with Mr owen He told me that, 49 years ago, he had 5 employees, and life was, GREAT, NOW he spends the best part of his days, dealing with UNSATISFIED, customers, like ME!!!! That ALONE, should be WARNING!!! More to come....
Say hello to Ray. Great selection of gear.
Great Place to get yourself a Harley!
Started work on a pricey repair before approval. Fortunately it worked out but it could have been bad.
An excellent place. Great one on one help.
Not impressed with the motor clothes girls. Frown faces. No interaction. Wow i had money to spend ladies. Your loss. On to Rattle snake H-D.
Great variety and no high pressure sales. Ive spent more than 8000$ there in 3 months and I will be back.
Friendly staff lots of merchandise both soft and hard.
Top notch
Friendly and Professional! And best of all, a ton of everything in stock!
I just got a call saying my rzr motor turned over I had it for a month and thought it was toast. Its a 2016 rzr high lifter cant wait to pick it up and drive it like its stolen.lolYou aint having fun if u aint breaking things. This is good news for owens (more business)
Poor customer service, we were never spoken to on our visit. No outside seating, no visible smoking area. This is a Harley store after all.
Their service department is the worst. Took in some small ATV tires and rims that I purchased through their store to have them mounted. It took 4 phone calls to them, one every other day to get the status of the work and I we repeatedly told that they were having trouble with the service. When I called the final time I was told that the service had been done 4 days earlier and they were ready to go. Never got a call from them. They claimed they called me and even said they talked to me on the phone. Each time I talked with their service department I verified my phone number and each time they said they would call me with updates or when it was completed. Will not be using their service department again.
Bought a used bike here was priced well
