I went here with my daughter and husband today and was followed around by a security guard and employee. I bent down at my daughters level to check my phone not sure if they misinterpreted. Either way will never come here again. I’m pretty sure if I was of another race I would’ve not been treated as if I was stealing. If you want to shop comfortably go to another ulta where they don’t racially profile you.

Nice employees when you can find them but youre mostly left to wander the store in search of help. Check out was easy and the cashier was very helpful, my return was also easy

I still feel dirty after spending my hard earned money in a place that treats me like a criminal. Things like this usually don’t get to me too often (it’s usually more of a passive annoyance), but I’m noticing this happening almost every time I go to this location. This treatment definitely intensified and occurs way too often.I asked a community of people who shop there and they unanimously stated that the security guard made it so uncomfortable to shop there that they have stopped going altogether

I went to Ulta to get highlights. I wasn’t sure about the color. Susan was really helpful and she did a wonderful job. She did a color correction therapy and highlights afterwards. The result were awesome. I get a lot of compliments. I never had such a great color treatment from any of the other pros. I would highly recommend Susan for color treatments.

Caitlin was very helpful and polite. I dont much about makeup, she helped me pick out the right eyeshadow and some other items. Im very happy with my experience.

Before I make a purchase on a perfume online i go to ulta to smell the scent. Well i regret investing my money in this store not so much for the product itself but the amount of unprofessional staff they hired in this place. the ladies located by the fragrances are chatting with the security guard instead of doing their job talking about the customers. I get there and I hear them chatting while looking at me and laughing. So unprofessional. Never will I return to this location. I would rather spend my time and money somewhere else. Hire more competent staff maybe the sales will go up. Ps-after reading the reviews, i noticed im not the only one complaining about this security guard. If she is chasing and secretly talking about customers, perhaps she should become a cop or do something more serious with her career instead of a security guard chasing customers thinking she is catching thieves. Making them feel uncomfortable so unprofessional n will push customers away.

Saturday was my last day to ever shop at this location. I used to shop in the Ulta on 86th and 3rd before I moved to yonkers and I spent no joke -at least $200 a week.I thought it was just me that the security guard followed around. If you’re the security guard that worked on Saturday I want you to know that you make me and my family/friends so uncomfortable. My mom will literally not shop there specifically because you follow and stare at customers. I don’t know if management told you to do that but you could at least be discreet if you want to do that. When you literally walk two feet behind customers all around the floor it feels like you’re ushering out the door.Go to Dobbs Ferry location! It’s a few extra miles but at least you don’t have an unwanted shadow there.

JANICE!!!!! Janice is my fave stylist EVER out of all the Ultas ive ever gotten my hair done at. She makes sure I leave feeling beautiful & TAKES HER TIME! That means the most to me! She does an amazing keratin that lasts along with amazing color! Even after a few months of color without touch up, it looks good! I dont know what magic she does. The only reason id ever return back to Yonkers Ulta is for her. 5/5 for her!!!!!

Love that theres a beauty store in Cross County Mall, especially since Ulta has a lot of great products and affordable brands. Once Covid regulations relax itll be easier to try makeup products to find your match. Right now, Ulta is not allowing any testing of any makeup, which is a bummer. The selection in the store was ok, however there wasnt anyone around to help with questions or to point me in the right direction. I was looking for Dermablend but couldnt find it or a sales associate to assist. Ended up getting some Juvias Place in the end. The young lady who rang me up was quick and pleasant which I appreciated. Ill definitely be back and hopefully if I need help itll be available.

The first impression was not good. I asked a customer representative for an item and she was rude and dismissing. However, I found to wonderful ladies Yazmin and Jess just LOVELY!! I was not sure about the brand of the item I was looking for but they were looking very hard for me and found it... Yeah!! Thank you both, you made a difference in my shopping experience.

I am never booking a hair appointment here ever again. I booked an appointment for a blow out that I wanted to get before a photo shoot I was having a month before the event. The night before I got a reminder about my appointment so I was ready to go. When I arrived at this Ulta location the stylist who received me asked what time my appointment was and who it was with. I let her know my appointment details and she looked at her computer for a while. Thats when I knew something was wrong. She told me that I was booked with her and that she cant take me because she is already working with two clients. Confused I asked who was going to do my hair and reminded her that I was time pressed because of an event. She asked me to sit down in an open chair as she tried to troubleshoot the situation. Her solution was to put me with another stylist who already had someone she was working on and without asking me moved my appointment to 30 minutes later. Annoyed with the lack of service and the total disregard that I had booked an appointment a month ago and had to be somewhere at a certain time I told her to forget it and left. Thankfully I was able to find an appointment at another place nearby that could take me in 10 minutes. This is the worst customer service Ive had in a while. *Sidenote: Ulta in Dobbs Ferry has a nicer salon and a much more professional staff. Unfortunately they were booked when I made my original appointment.

I went to get a cut and color at the salon for the first time. I saw Lorna and she did a great job. I received so many compliments on my hair. The prices I would say are pretty standard. Definitely would consider going back.

I would like to thank Maria the make-up artist at the cross county location. True artistry! My 14 year daughter’s make-up was flawless! Maria defined her eyes matched her skin tone perfectly. simply stunning!

I love this Ulta! Way better than the one in the Bay Plaza mall. At this Ulta the workers are approachable and willing to answer your questions without an attitude. They also give you your space so you can play with the tester makeup, but are nearby should you have a question. Also- they have a lot of tester makeup available and its not smudged all over the place. Big plus!I also like the way this Ulta is set up, its very organized. The checkout line moves fast during peak hours as well. I would definitely recommend.

I am a really regular customer at this store... coming in once or twice a week and every time i get uncomfortable about the security guard but today was my last time in this store. I went in to buy 2 pallets, key word BUY the cashier already rung me up but then we went by to check a price & as we walked by the security very obviously took a picture of me and my friend with his cell phone. this made me so uncomfortable that I had to ask them to cancel the whole transaction and leave all together. I won’t be returning to this store because i can’t shop in peace & the picture was definitely the last straw. How do you expect to run a business with workers like this?

I was so excited to visit the Ulta store. Once I arrived I was impressed with the amazing selection of products. The store itself is in desperate need of a good cleaning. It was literally disgusting to see so much garbage in the makeup bays. The store needs proper maintenance of cleaning. Good luck to this location. 👍

The staff is totally unprepared for persons with questions. The spa technician sounded like he was chatting up a storm on his cell phone, when we asked an associate to check, her curt response was, if the curtain is drawn hes busy. A senior staff member found someone who did her best to help us but she couldnt really give skin recommendations but she was super helpful and the cashier was great.

Love the fact that all beauty brands are in one store. The beauticians are a great help. Some products are pricier than other stores but the variety is wonderful

Store is well merchandised but...I was interested in switching from my Lancome foundation to something new. I walked through the store looking for a beauty consultant and when none was found I asked a male employee if he could find someone to help me and he said yes, and walked away. 15 minutes later and Im still standing there among the cosmetics. I walk to the back of the store and there he is conversing with one of his female coworkers. I told him Ive been waiting 15 minutes and as it turns out, the girl he was speaking with was the person he was supposed to send over to me and didnt. I tracked down the manager told her what happened and promptly walked out! Very disappointing.

Stephanie is an amazing aesthetician. Friendly,knowledgeable, and very professional. I highly recommend her services at the Benefit Brow Bar. Overall, the store is excellent, and staff are very helpful.

Went for a makeup testing with my sister. I was pleasantly surprised how Tarte Cosmetics eyeshadow palettes are sooo pigmented. Makes me want to throw away my drugstore palettes that are past its shelf life. Also found a long lost perfume that my mom used to wear.

The lines look crazy. They should have a better system with the line. When you enter the store and see the line, makes you want to walk right out

So I went their for a blow dry and their saloon is way too over priced. Services were better but they just charged me 56 $ for a normal blow dry. I have hardly seen such high prices any where.

This place needs more personal. Only one cashier open three days before Christmas. Only one lady on the floor helping custumers and she looks lost and doesnt know much about cosmetics/makeup.

The staff is so friendly at the cross county location. I went to visit the benefit brow station. This is my go to place for getting my lashes & brows hooked up! They also have a huge selection of makeup, hair and skin products.

This store would be great if the staff and management were better. They are too on top of you, and also everyone doesnt truly know anything about discount or anything going on in their own store. Its frustrating and ashame especially at that location.

The store is NEVER stocked!!!! Week after week I go there and the shelves barely have product on them! It’s crazy! It’s a new store in a great shopping location and every time I go I am disappointed by the small selection of items that I am actually able to find! This is a new store and it should have better supply than this!

Lets play make up

I like this Ulta, but It would be better if they carried the NYX born to glow foundation and a fully stocked NYX born to glow concealer. They also do not carry Dose of Colors foundation. Their Kylie concealers are scarce. The kkw concealers are not carried in store either they mainly focus on lip. The ordinary skin care products are not in the skincare section, their all the way on the other side.. by the men’s products. Two employees told me they didn’t carry two brands I was looking for which they did have in stock because I found them myself . That was not a plus for ULTA.Then in the benefit section I was looking at the benefit multi use eyebrow pen sort of say and the employee asks oh why do you want to buy that ? And I said because I’ve always wanted one, because it includes different shade and brow highlight. She goes oh you sound confused and walks away . Like another star for customer service. I was disappointed with this trip to Ulta, I’m a regular customer at this location.

Had a 10:00 A.M. appointment on October 15, 2018; hairdresser did not show.Manager attempted to placate me.The male who made me the appointment the week before, called me that same afternoon to inform me that the stylist had training that day.Inconceivable that “management” did not know that their employee had scheduled training on this date.Unprofessional, extremely poor business practice and deplorable customer service.As a senior citizen, I am aghast at this unfashionable situation.Cost me cab fare, my time and loss of confidence.I had been using Stephanie at Ulta in MIDDLETOWN for several years, but she left; she was THE BEST!Ulta owes me much more than : “would you like to make another appointment? Too expensive

The customer services isn’t the best just an average retail store however following your customers around upon 4 mins of entering the store does not make anyone wanna come back. And standing directing behind me and my friends as we are shopping made the whole experience very uncomfortable. The security guard wasn’t Evening trying to hide it she followed us the whole time and an associate as well.

Love my bare mineral makeup

First time going today with my sister and cousins. Despite the not so good reviews I went any ways to check it out for my self. Horrible store not stocked at all everything was basically empty. The cashier that I got was not happy, she told me something about a coupon that it would not work because I bought prestige and regular brands in same transaction, so the coupon would not work. I disagreed with her asked to try and of course IT WORKED! She didn’t care she didn’t say sorry for the attitude or for anything. I know how the coupons work Bc I’m a frequent shopper at my regular Ulta store in Dobbs Ferry!! I wanted to try this store out but it was HORRIBLE!! Don’t recommend this store!!! 👎🏼

Worst Customer Service experience i had, Went in to buy a cologne 1/17/18 .I saw the sample of the cologne i wanted, and behind it were boxes of the same brand. so i picked one up and went straight to the register, upon purchase i realized it wasnt the one on the display, so i asked to refund it (they didnt give me an option to order it online etc..) so this was the worst part of it all, they asked me to sign up for a rewards card which i didnt want to do, so they said i cant get a refund if i dont sign up. They lied to my face at that point, i just wanted to leave. so i called their customer service line on their company website and asked if is obligated to sign up for a rewards point in order to get a refund, So the representative said no, its not obligated. At that point i wont recommend going there Customer service sucks, Go to Macys ! they are a bit professional .

Horrible experience today... terrible customer service I was approached only once and when I asked her about an item they did not have on the sales floor she said she would check the back and she never did. She ignored me for a grand total of 20 min! I then got tired of waiting and being ignored since she decided to keep showing other customers other products even though she was not the only one working on the floor. The other sales associates on the floor never approached me so when I placed my shopping bag back on the rack with other items I was going to purchase there was an associate near the door and didnt even bother asking me if I found everything ok or what happened even though clearly I was upset with my shopping experience and they lost a potential sale! Very and truly disappointed with ulta in cross county. Corporate should look into how they should better train their employees on how to treat customers and makes because Im sure Im not the only sale they lost!

I went to the store to purchase a MAC lipstick. I was at the check out counter when I noticed some fragrances that were for sale. I asked Laurie (the cashier) the price on the fragrance since it was not labeled and she looked at me and said “it’s very expensive”. I didn’t ask if it was expensive or not I simply asked what the price of the item was. I believe she was judging me by the way I was dressed and the way I looked. I had on sweatpants and Ugg boots. Had I walked in the store with my Louis Vuitton bag well dressed with some heals I don’t think I would have gotten the same response from her.
