We had a wonderful experience. We stated our budget when we arrived and they were able to show us great mattresses that could be brought down to our budget with discounts. We asked for something in stock and she found it. She was very friendly, helpful and extremely accommodating. They were also very patient and sweet with my 2 year old son.

We have been mattress shopping for a while. Kyle was very informative. We gave him our parameters and he helped us get there. The store had all kinds of options from high end to affordable. Store was clean and comfortable. We would recommend Mattress Firm on Carpenter Road in Ann Arbor!

This was our first experience going mattress shopping. We never knew how important it was to have a bed that truly fits you. Our sleep expert did an amazing job bringing us up to speed on what we needed to know. He reached all lengths when explaining to us which bed would possibly be the best fit for us. Great service. Was very happy to leave with a mattress the same day I started shopping for one! And the sales assistants at both of the stores I went to were very helpful in getting me a good deal.

I bought a queen and a twin xl hybrid mattress bed. I had to wait from June 11 til July 9 for delivery. Paid for premium delivery. When the day arrived the guys basically threw my beds together, one upstairs one downstairs and wanted me to sign for them. Both frames are remote controlled adjustable but they never showed me they worked. They got mad when I vacuumed the spot upstairs after I took the old bedframe apart myself and carried it outside. They told me they only stay 10 minutes. Both new frames are height adjustable but they just left them at lowest without asking. I didnt sign until I went downstairs to check the twin bed. After they left I had to download a product manual, learn how to adjust the height, take the bed apart and do it myself alone. My point is dont pay extra for the premium installation. For a $6,000 purchase it was slightly better than dumping it off in my driveway.

In store experience was great Kalon was very knowledgeable in helping me select a mattress. I was informed that my Saturday delivery would be proceeded by a call on Friday to confirm a delivery window. Friday came and went with no phone call, on Saturday I checked my order status and see that it shows that my mattress had been delivered (it hadnt). I called the store and was informed that the mattress had been sent to the wrong place and they should be able to deliver it by next Friday or Saturday. I found this unacceptable and cancelled my purchase which was also done quickly and efficiently.

I spent 2wks researching and trying out beds at different stores. I came and went from this location a few times, and called a couple times to ask a bunch of questions. These guys are phenomenal. They were knowledgeable, flexible, nice guys, that never tried to upsell. If it were necessary to go get a bed tune-up and oil change, Id be back every few months to give them my business.

They removed the old bedding and brought in the new sets and set them up on the beds. They worked fast and without any problems.

Terrible customer service. I called ahead and they said they had mattress in stock. I drove 30 miles to their store for them to tell me they actually do not have in stock at warehouse as they said. Don’t trust them.

We weren’t sure if we could buy a bed from Mattress Firm Ypsilanti today, but the open sign was on and Kevin saw us and came out to let us in. He showed us four models, always responding to what we said we were interested in. He answered our questions, but never pushed one model over others. We selected the one we wanted and he completed the deal by presenting the additional stuff we needed for the bed. They did not have the frame we wanted at hand and he told us we might have to wait almost two months for our delivery, but then he found one for us at another store and scheduled delivery for next week. This is the way you want a bed purchase experience to go!

Kevin B at the Ypsi location was very helpful with helping me select a mattress. I went to Mattress Firm because I wanted to actually lay on a mattress before I buy one. I chose a purple mattress after comparing it to the temperpedic. I get my new mattress in 3 days, I cant wait.

Great store, world class customer supportWent in as this company sells purple and wanted to experience it. Had only planned on upgrading the mattress and never experience an adjustable frame. We felt so well taken care of we did not even go look at other brands or stores. From the moment we walked in, Levon, the store manager of the Ypsilanti MI store, greeted us and made us feel welcome and made sure we experienced the range of not only purple but options for frames. Since current bed is 20 years old and standard frame, much as changed. There is a lot of tech now in sleep hardware and the experience is like buying a car with all the selection + financing options and sales. In our case we did not have the high pressure that would be associated with car purchases sometimes. Our case was unique in that we went through some adjustments in model/s decided before delivery. We deciding to upgrade bed frame, changing some things etc. Levon was there all the way and excellent communication and assistant as changing terms and items around requires good knowledge and patients. He obviously knows his stuff. Since I live halfway between Ann Arbor area and Toledo, did go in to a mattress firm in OH to check on the mattress I would be getting, for one last feel even though Mattress Firm has an in-home 120 days trial. The employee in that store knew of Levon and talked well of him as a great person to be working with. Knowing he is even respected by fellow workers in others stores says something. Delivery was on time and professional. Highly recommend this store and working with the manager there.

Bought mattress in store. They delivered it with hole in it. Do not I repeat, do not give this place business. They would not replace mattress. This company does not give a good God damn about you nor any other customer and will absolutely cheat you. I sink into mattress too thats supposed to be firm, so that you dont sink into it.

Levon was super helpful with walking us through finding the right bed for us. No pressure sales. We were able to try whichever bed we wanted and were encouraged to lay down as long as we wanted. Our bed will be delivered in 2 weeks. I expect it to go smoothly but will update after we have the mattress.

Once we decided on a purple 2 mattress, Levon helped us to learn the specs of adjustable bases, and worked with us on the price. We got a fabulous deal!! Levon treats you like family. A refreshing experience compared to high pressure sales tactics stores (Art Van). We will be back for guest room bed this spring.

This is actually a 0 star review. Purchased Purple mattresses and bases less than a month ago. One base does not work with remote anymore. Store manager refuses to remedy situation. Have been waiting close to 2 weeks for call back and new frame or for the frame to be fixed and ONLY EXCUSES are available from Mattress Firm store. Do not give this store your business - at all. Customer service is non-existent. Promises made during sale do not follow thru. These bases and mattresses are expensive. Very expensive and not worth the hassle from this store. Buy from another company.

I wish all major purchases could be like the experience here. Levon moved us through a series of mattresses so that we could find one that was comfortable for our style of sleeping, and then worked down until we found one that was within our budget. Delivery was also good; the guys even wore covers on their boots so they wouldnt get the carpet dirty. Weve had the mattress for a few weeks now, and its without a doubt the best one Ive ever owned.

Sam (Samantha) is a gem! She was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to find the best deal and mattress for my husband and I. She struck a great balance of getting us all of the information while giving us the space to make our own decisions. Highly recommend her service at this store.

We had a great experience purchasing our Purple 2 with adjustable massaging base. We walked in unsure of what we wanted but as soon as we laid on the Purples we knew what we wanted. The salesman who helped us was Levon. He was very friendly and has a great personality and attitude. He patiently worked with us to narrow down what we wanted and explained all of the features and options without overloading us on information. No high pressure or bait and switch tactics here (unlike Art Van!) We are very pleased with our selection and will be back in the spring time to furnish our guest room. Levon is a stand up guy who will take care of you like you are one of his family members. We could not ask for a better expereince!

I went into the store with my fiance to compare prices with another local vendor. The store manager, Levon, was very attentive to our needs and exceptionally responsive to what we were looking for in a new bed. He helped us understand the differences between models and why a given bed may be more expensive than another, and helped us find the right fit for our needs without making us feel pushed. The entire experience was pleasant, simple, and I felt well taken care of as a customer. As an added bonus, the delivery time was 1/5th what it was at the other vendor we had spoken to! I called and asked if I could have a mattress delivered today and upon being told no, I asked when could I have a a mattress delivered? The rep in the store made it sound like there was some rocket science formula he had to calculate in order to give me an answer. He made it very clear that he didnt feel like entering the info in the system. I finally volunteered my address (since he wasnt going to ask me for it). I was LITERALLY on the phone for 11:30 before being told the 26th of November. I said wow, a week and two days (today is the 17th). Then I was told, no, thats less than a week. The last mattress I bought was from the Mattress Firm in Ann Arbor. They were much more helpful and friendly so even though this one is less than 1/2 mile from where I live, Ill just go back across town to spend my money. Maybe I should just stop giving Mattress Firm business altogether?
