This company was referred to me to help carpet our floors to sell our home. The manager, Paul, told me hed try and pull a rabbit out of his hat. Well he did! Despite their truck breaking down, he kept me continually up to date on their status. Paul got that rabbit and his crew finished the carpets later that night. Awesome job!!!! Definitely recommend. Best ethics ever. He kept his word.

We called G&K right after we purchased our house because we knew the hardwood floors were in rough shape. We needed someone who was knowledgeable (since this was our first house and we knew pretty much nothing about flooring.) They miraculously got us in within a few days (due to a cancellation) and walked us through everything they would need to do and the timeline. Paul was excellent and guided us on flooring stains that would fit well with the house. They got right to work. My husband and I didnt stay in the house during the renovation, but we came by everyday to view the progress. Someone was always there to answer our questions, and they seriously went above and beyond to get everything done quickly so we could move in. I have worked with G&K Floor Covering on a couple different occasions. Everyone I have interacted with has been incredibly friendly and helpful. I have had carpet and LVT installed as well as my hardwood refinished. They also came out to remove and re-install my carpet in the basement where I had to have a pipe under the foundation replaced. Regardless of your needs, they are honest, fair and genuinely good people to work with! The quality of work is top-notch.

G&K Floor Covering is BY FAR the most knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly place for flooring. We had visited the regular big box stores: Lowes, Home Depot, Lumber Liquidators. We also visited a few specialty stores in Ann Arbor and Chelsea. G&K Floor Covering beats them all by miles. It was the only business where we walked away with confidence in the information we were given. The service is really top-notch, I could not have asked for anything more. Paul listened to our situation, understood what we wanted, and was able to recommend products in our price range. The two guys in the store know everything. I initially contacted them because I wanted to refinish the hardwood flooring throughout the house. Scott came out to measure, gave me an estimate and a date. When the start date came, their workers showed up but informed me that they werent sure that they could restore the floors to the level that theyd be proud of because they were extensively damaged (lots of water damage and damage to the subfloor). Paul was called to look at the floors and suggested that carpets would be better because the floors would never look 100% again. I was disappointed, but appreciated that they didnt want to take my money and deliver a sub-standard outcome. They installed carpet throughout the home, which looked good, and even finished the job under estimate. I would hire them again and recommend them to anyone.
