First time and my last time buying groceries from Walmart. I was there to get some household items, for convenience decided to pick up some groceries. This is what I realized after got home when Im about to use it. This expiration date might have been modified JAN3117 got changed to JAH3117. What month is JAH??? (See pics with the orange juice)

Walmart is definitely my go to store. They carry everything. No need going anywhere else cause you cant beat their prices.

Today is May 19th, 2020. the store is permanently closed? website still shows regular hours 7 days. only by reading through a bunch of customer reviews did I learn the fact that this store is actually not going to be open tomorrow at 7 am, in contrast to the info on the website. been closed for over a month? been fascinating to read the history of customer reviews of this store, and also the fact that it is now closed. all i can say is wow!!

This Walmart has the worst customer service- cashiers look like they don’t want to be at work- they don’t smile, they don’t look at you, they have attitudes. The women’s section under garments are always out of stock and boy short packages are always open as if someone desperately needed at least a pair.... seems like they just need to hire happy people to create a enjoyable customer experience.

I cannot for the life of me figure out why there are 2 lanes open consistently and why EVERYONE FEMALE has the nastiest attitudes?? It makes me drive the extra miles to another location to get better service

My go to store in the area for cheap items. If you need some random stuff, here you can find it. Not in the greatest and safest area, but oh well. The streets around can get a bit dark. I rode my bicycle here to get an oil filter for my car and could barely see at night.

This Walmart has been permanently closed for months but Google Maps refuses to accept my own or anyone elses edits to reflect that. Do not go here expecting a Walmart, it is closed!

Third time in a row I have come here and there are no hand baskets to carry my items. Almost the entire store smells like burnt marijuana. I come here specifically to get great value frozen cauliflower, and on average about 75% of the time it is not in stock. Im wondering how this store even takes itself seriously.

I like this Walmart because it is STILL Smaller and I dont have to walk a football field to get to one side of the store to the other.That being said, their New Pharmacy rules, SUCK!!! I have a medication that they will not fill As-Prescribed by my Doctor. Plus Ive been going there for over 8 years to fill it. So, what the H@!! good are they??? NONE!!!

What a bad place. Dirty, a lot of empty shelves, waited 25 minutes in the site to store pickup for a worker even after I checked in for faster service. This Walmart consistently sucks. Self checkout always has a line and the other registers are not staffed. I will definitely find other stores.

This is my least favorite wal mart. We had to have someone called to jewelry counter 3 times before they showed up. But when she did get there, she was courteous and kind, finding the right battery for my husbands watch.

Adequate parking and easily accessible from highway. Runs out of new season clothing quickly. Difficult to find knowledgeable employee assistance. Womens bathroom filthy! Not once have I seen it clean.

One of the worst customer service experiences. Staff does not speak or acknowledge you. I will say the store was well maintained overall.

The liquor case is locked, which I can understand, but the groom for the wedding we were going too wanted something specific. However, someone was called over the intercom to help us. Waited 15 minutes before we went and found another person, thinking we were forgotten. After about 10 minutes, still no one. We left, went to Meijer, got our drink in less then 15 minutes.

Good shopping trip. They had what we wanted, and the checkout was pretty quick. Security check when we left was a bit more extensive than we were accustomed to, but it was no problem.

Unfortunately this local Walmart will be closing in about month. there are currently some really good sales, but not a lot of customer service help. Be prepared to wait in long lines. This will not be in and out trip

I give Walmart four stars because their prices are so reasonable. I enjoy getting the deals. Save A Buck keep a book. Four thumbs up

Very picked through, even for a walmart, at every hour of the day. I have been in the morning, evening, afternoon, and late night.It is NOT A FULL SIZE STORE!!! Please make note of that, there are significantly less stock options and in some cases none in the non-food sections.Staffing is also generally bad. Every time i ask about an items stock i get a run of the mill this is all we have. Yet, i know its not because i have had employees check at least and find they DO have it.Also, good luck finding someone to help allow you into the changing room. I WOULD have spent over $100 on jeans but only got 1 pair because i couldnt try them on. You are better off going to the saline Walmart! Its only 15 down the road.Customer service is the ONLY reason/department that this has 2 stars. They treated me well and efficiently for a large return.

This Walmart is closing. 25% off almost everything. As off today March 16th 2020. There is still a decent amount of stock. Tons of bikes for thoes Easter gifts!

Terrible place. Many many shelves empty, shelves not fronted and faced, very few cashiers. Not friendly to cash customers in the self-checkout lanes. Some say card only. It needs as well as other Walmarts, better customer service.

Store seems little less organized, many items are scattered on wrong racks. Cleanliness is also compromised in washrooms. Store has huge collection of goods. Safety is an important concern in and around this place, I hv not only heard many theft/robbery cases but also witnessed one happened with my friend during evening time. Good to go during daytime.

Such friendly staff who went out of their way to find the closest organizer I wanted. Check out aisle good cheerful staff. Good prices!

The produce was fresh and adequate as well as affordable. The store has a bakery. It does not have a deli. The savings really add up on all of my daily groceries. The store also has recycling. I will continue to go back.

Today my husband and I went to the Deli and waited for a long time it was about 11:30 a.m. So we went shopping for about 45 minutes and came back to the Deli there was still nobody there. I kept saying hello and finally I heard just a minute. We asked for some dark chicken and the women said well we have ranch, ext.. I said thats why decided to come back the same stuff was in there and it didnt look worth buying. We just left and went to Popeyes and got some fresh dark chicken.

Has more variety than the Saline location on many of the products. Prices are sometimes lower as well. Clean store and friendly staff.

Walmart online showed item in stock in this store. Not only could I not find it, but there was no evidence, such as allotted shelf space or label, that they ever had the item. Brittney in customer service told me that was not unusual. Item was all plastic quick kill Victor mouse trap.

Might be a good Walmart but the second time coming here my mothers phone was almost stolen by an employee that was making copies of our keys for us. When asked if anything was left behind lied to our faces and nothing was turned in up front in lost and found. My mother walked back to the register and found her phone deliberately hidden from sight.

Although this location is the quickest and easiest to get to... its not always able to provide the best in cleanliness outside. HOWEVER.... they have good service... and since the renovation it looks even better inside.

They could use better signage. I was driving a public transportation vehicle, and I took my client right past the entrance driveway because I didnt know where I was supposed to turn

My baby threw up in Walmart today and when we asked for help a guy named Ryan came to the rescue. Not only was he supportive but he showed compassion for me and the baby. He claimed that I was so nice because I was helping him clean up my own kids vomit lol. We need more people like you Ryan!! Thanks again!!

Similar to any other walmart. What I specifically liked is their garden center, where they got a variety of plants ranging from veggies to flowers to trees. They are very cost efficient when compared to any other stores. Customer service is ordinary and slow as usual, but I dont really expect much from them anyway. Other items that caught my interest are the cheap bike repair items,helmets, locks and other accessories. Overall slightly above average store.

Last night,and unfortunately,this kind of situation has happened on at LEAST 3 different occasions before,despite a product and the tag on the shelf matching, the so-called manager(she said she was despite having no name tag),refused to honor the price on the shelf as the product rang up $8 more than its tag said. To be fair, I did not double check the numbers to make sure that they matched, but the tag said 10G tank hood, of which,the one, the only one left back there of any size period, was a 10G tank hood,the lady didnt even want to go check the label-I had to ask her to go look! When she called,she never came back to me, the customer,she called the employee and told her there were no more on the shelf,DUH! Thats what I told her to begin with!They were out of several things! Preserves in food section almost empty,where the tuna were,it smelled like an open can of tuna! There was only King sized sheet sets,NO TWIN,FULL OR QUEEN,no I wasnt in the wrong isle,the places where they should have been were EMPTY!Of the 7 employees I spoke with,only 1 was friendly and smiled,1 other one was nice/friendly, the others,including the manager,were just RUDE,and ACTED AS THOUGH US CUSTOMERS WERE BOTHERING THEM!I USED TO SHOP THERE AT LEAST 1 X MONTHLY,THEN BECAUSE OF BAD MANAGEMENT,I HAD STOPPED FOR ABOUT 3 YRS,OF MY LAST 4 VISITS IN THE PAST YR. THERE WERE NO GOOD EXPERIENCES AT THE YPSILANTI STORE!STILL BAD MANAGEMENT IN MY OPINION.HOWEVER,THE SALINE STORE IS GOOD THOUGH. As long as I have a car,I will drive the extra way to Saline,or just go to Meijer!

While yes this is a Walmart, I am very pleased with my trip to this one. As a traveler I see allot of them. Going back to this one will be really nice.

At 9:00, it was so few shoppers; that it was really nice.

This is a good place to visit to pick up certain items like food, vitamins, bath items etc. The workers are typically friendly but sometimes you may get a few that actually act as if they dont wish to be there. Overall, they typically have what I need.

Great service, friendly, always has people shopping shows like it. We love it.. Great prices..they always help you.

Ran in on my lunch break to quickly grab a pair of black pants for my son. (Knew size, brand, etc) Heres what it looked like - didnt even bother trying to find what I needed in this disaster. Most of the store looked like this! Waste of my lunch break! 😣

Terribly long line and self check out was closed so employees could lounge around and waste time AT 10:00PM. There were about 15 families waiting in 2 sets of lines for available associates and only 1 of the 10 were checking people out. Ridiculous. Once self checkout was opened after 30 minutes the checkout woman screamed HELLO?? if we didnt crowd in to check out and was incredibly rude to everyone who was in line. I understand having a long and busy day but Walmart closes at 1am, not 10pm.

I recommend going somewhere else for their photo service. Poor customer service. No one seems to care if youre there to pick something up. Now something that would have taken 2 minutes has been a 30min wait after talking to multiple employees for assistance.

This store is the most unorganized business Ive ever been to. I preordered Death Stranding Special Edition and when I show up to get it they dont even have it. I have to wait 4 days to get my preordered game. And its sold out everywhere so I cant even go to another vendor to purchase it. I will never purchase another electronic from this terrible company.

Everyones always nice here but 1/2 the items on my list were outta stock. And the prices at this location on staples like milk & eggs is higher than the Belleville location? Only by .44 & .66 but it adds up!

Employees are rude!!! Location and store are NASTY. WALMARTs Ive been too always have just about app products stocked right? Well not this location products are never stocked you wont ever go here and them not be out of at least 3 things your going there for. And youll be treated like complete garbage. This Walmart is terrifying after dark. I wont go inside alone or wait outside alone. The employees inside have no problem dropping F and N bombs right at the self check out. This place is dirtier and in worse shape than the most disgusting regular walmarts. Do not shop here after dark unless you have mace or a taser!

Newly renovated & better organized. Many more items were added. Some helpers are not helpful enough. Multiple times my helper went to get help from another.

I hate going to this store, but its the only option some times. I use the ship to store and there is never anyone in the area, then when someone comes by 10-15 minutes later, they dont usually work in that area so they have a hard time with the system or finding my item. Picking up an online order can take 30 minutes and the pickup has limited hours. This is why Amazon is winning.

First of all, staff were very helpful and pleasant. BUT... The condition of the store and parking lot was terrible. The store wasnt clean and the parking lot was strewn with garbage, glass and had the strong odor of bodily fluids and feces. Hopefully, this was an isolated incident.

If there was a -star they would get 10- 1 have no knowledgeable people working there if your going to work in a department then learn it.call a few days ahead of time asked if they had a product was told yes we have several in stock.ok great get there not only did they not have any but even a manager blew me off in looking it up but sent me back to a department where she new no one was there all were in meetings well they blew a 400.00 sell.

This is the messiest, most disheveled looking Walmart Ive ever been to. The store always looks like it went through a hurricane. Things are usually not in their correct places (making things hard to find) and items look damaged before you buy them. The staff is supposed to keep the shelves looking orderly. Ive never had a problem with the staff but theyre usually not very knowledgeable. Even though this Walmart is near me, I gladly go all the way to the one in Saline because its better.

Needs to be kept better. Most materials are in the isle in boxes so its hard to see the product thats shelved. Alot of boxes that are supposed to be closed are opened with stuff missing. Always keep your recipt.

No cashiers at front of store. Line halfway the length of the registers. Only self check open. Service desk closed. Not impressed. Went to electronics to get checked out.

We(black people) stood at the gaming cabinet at least 10 minutes before someone helped us. At least 8 (black people) people passed us on their way to clock in or out, Im assuming, and no one even asked if we needed help. Finally someone (a white person) passing by the aisle pulling a heavy pallet, stopped what he was doing and asked if we needed help and assisted us right away. He apologized for us having to wait and for the people not assisting CUSTOMERS at that. Its such a shame how our own people act and I would like to apologize to him for our peoples behavior.

Fresh produce items tend to vary in quality at each visit, less instead of more organic choices. Use to shop here solely for produce and groceries, not so much now. Aesthetics of the store vary on any given day, but never seen the store in pristine conditions since we started shopping here in June 2017.

Prices are good. People working there were nice and helpful. But, on many items seem to be out of stock. Stock that was there seemedto be in disarray.

Unprofessional employees. I had to make my requests for help in the sport section several times before they actually makes an announcement. Saw two employees hanging around with their friends who appeared to have came to the store to visit them. They were running back and forth, chasing each other, giggling, and taking selfies instead of working. Acted like it was troublesome when I came up to asked for help. Waited for 30+ minutes and still no help. Will NEVER shop here again.

Store is a mess, never would get any help even had an issue getting a vacuum from the front desk asked for help and the workers just walked away not saying anything. I wish I could say I wasted 9 months working here but I learned so much about how crappy coworkers and managers could be. Now to be fair many people I worked with were great but many managers and some younger coworkers were not. Sorry friends that still work there, I wish you the best and no Emma I will never come back even though Melashia is out. I recommend going to Meijer up the road. You pay a little extra there but people are actually treated right.

The money center was on point... Store is poorly stocked and a hot mess unorganized... The Subway inside the Wal-Mart is RIDICULOUS!! One man running the whole place, slow as hell, but had time to tell a man with a baby girl that he could not sit at their table until the line went down... Absolutely disgusting...

Updated 7-25-19: Huge improvement in pickup last several orders.Order pickup section is a wholesale disaster. I got a text AND an email telling me to come pickup my order. Upon arrival there were 5 people already standing around waiting. When I asked about my order I was told it wasnt staged yet and they had no idea where it was or when it would be ready. Paraphrasing Go home and try later. We dont know when but not now.We could see some of the staff looking through the closed door window at us, probably wondering when we would just leave then alone.Clearly no one in charge. It has to be a terrible place to work. Amazon has nothing to fear from them.

Never has common items in stock, only recently started offering hand baskets for shopping, I think maybe 4 or 5 total though. I quit shopping here regularly years ago when the store manager told me the reason they didnt have hand baskets is because people would steal them (with that logic then why stock anything at all???) If you only need 5 or 6 items, drive a few more miles down to Meijer where they do have hand baskets, and support a Michigan based business while youre at it. Always feel like Im about to get robbed in the parking lot. Cant give negative stars or I would.

I Was hoping in this World WaImart completive stance might make them the best. I was surprised....I did get help after about 10 min. Was not sure where to get it or how their system works...I went to Garden center....I understand staffing not staff because labor would be expensive. I did not see signage in what to do expect customer service from across the store. I guessed at a unmanned cashier station what to do. I saw in Target and Some Meijer a phone and signage to tell us how to get help....I guess this is how you do in at Walmart store...

I generally hate Walmart, but stopped in there today for whatever reason. I LOVED THAT you had Kitchen Spice scent in Yankee Candle and the Martha White pizza dough mix and OMG!!!! McCains Beer Battered French Fries, I cant find then ANYWHERE ELSE.....both the pizza dough mix and French Fries.

The most RATCHET Walmart I have ever been to. Employees at this location clearly dgaf about their job, and are SO unhelpful, lazy, and rude. I live in Ypsi and write this review after several visits over the years, and customer service never has improved. You have employees at the register openly complaining to customers about their job, employees ringing you up while disgustingly smashing on food and not even talking to you, and coworkers just chit chatting with each other vs actually doing anything. Ive never even seen someone in any sort of a resemblance to a manager on the floor. Good luck finding a basket, good luck finding a cart with all four working wheels. Good luck finding more than 2 checkouts open. Id rather take the trek to the a2/saline locations just so I dont need to deal with such incompetent, unmotivated staff. Im over it.

The place is ok. Ive never had a bad interaction with the staff, even when my stutter was really bad. They dont always have a lot of what Im looking for, but that could be because of the bs notion that grocery stores have to move stuff around a lot.The worst part of this store is the checkout lanes. The staff working them is fine. Its the fact that they have 20ish lanes and only ever seem to have 4 open (not counting self checkout which is its own monster). Even during big rushes they never seem to open more lanes. If youre in a hurry, go during an off time.

This is my go to place for most of the things I need around the house. The service is always friendly and helpful.
