We’re fairly new homeowners and hadn’t even considered redoing our floor but our water heater had other plans for us. Our home is in a development and had the basic, bottom of the barrel, laminate flooring. I knew I wanted something that was waterproof and durable- we have four kids and I would definitely like to avoid another water damage nightmare like the one we’d been living for the past 5 months. The contractor told me to go to the store and “pick something you like”.Disclaimer: I am a horribly indecisive person. At the time we started repairs, I’d had 7 different shades of green painted on my walls for the past month because I wanted to make sure I was happy with my choice.I had never done any major project to our home before, had no experience in flooring, and the thought of just going to the store with so many possibilities was a bit overwhelming. I had a dozen of sample tiles from Home Depot all over my floor and it’s just hard to envision your whole floor based on a 3x3 square. The contractor offered to send me “their floor guy”.In comes Brandon from Flooring Liquidators. I can’t express enough how refreshing he was to talk to after months of dealing with people I felt weren’t concerned with making my house livable again. He was so easy and pleasant to talk with and I immediately felt confident in my decision to use them. He came by my house, I told him what I wanted- waterproof, durable, and affordable (this wasn’t planned after all and not in the budget to begin with)- and his first recommendation was “Fauna” from MSI. He even asked which shade of green on my walls I was going to go with to help select a color floor that would complement it. He pulled up a visual on his tablet from their website and I fell in love with the first one I saw- “Ryder” from MSI.I went to the Roseville location to see them in person the next day- they have much larger planks to lay down and get a better visual. Brandon was right; “Ryder” was a bit too grey and I switched my choice to “Fauna”; his original recommendation.I ended up bypassing the contractors and going directly Flooring Liquidators because Brandon actually made me feel like he cared about getting my house back together. It saved me a few hundred dollars and we even extended the flooring down our hallway. Steve and Aaron did the install and were done in less than a week! I’ll definitely be calling Brandon again when we’re ready to do our carpets.

Person missed appointment never showed up or called. They finally came out and suggested unnecessary work. $$$. I went to another company and they did a wonder job at a great price

The staff was very friendly and helpful and helped us pick the perfect flooring for our home. They have a great selection to choose from. The installers were very good. I was shocked how fast they finished. They moved and put my furniture back in place and cleaned up everything. Super nice and very considerate. Would highly recommend this company

Very, very pleased with our vinyl plank flooring that we purchased from Floor Liquidators and had installed by Kodiak Flooring. Joe was very helpful and thoroughly explained the process, cost, etc. There were no surprises. Max and his crew from Kodiak took just one day to do our whole house. He and his crew did an excellent job and were very polite. Highly recommend!

We recently purchased flooring through Flooring Liquidators and the guys in there were very helpful. They helped us pick out the flooring and even told us about certain discounts that were going to be coming up closer to Memorial Day so we waited to purchase then and saved even more! Would definitely go through them again!

Great store. Nice guys who helped us. Selection was wonderful. Only problem, a guy came out to give an estimate on flooring, and installation,said hed get back with us the next day for price. He never called or came back. That was over a week ago. That was my only issue. So we had to go with another company.

The store is great. Joe is great. The company that they use for installs (Kodiak Flooring) is not so great. They do no prep work. They left the new flooring buckling and incomplete. Had to hire Yuba City Floor Covering to finish the job.

Great selection of materials, helpful professional salesmen. Because I was doing 2 bathrooms Brandon got them out of one piece of sheet vinyl and saved me a lot of money. Installation is perfect and looks beautiful. Since it looks so great I now want to do my other bathroom and wouldn’t go any other place.

We have been trying to get flooring for over a month now and have been jerked around and given multiple different dates on when to expect flooring to be in stock that we have already paid for. We have had to call them to figure out what’s going on. The first time we called we got a certain date of when our flooring would be in and then called to check in and make sure that that was still the case and then they told us that it got pushed back a couple weeks because it was on back order. Which once again WE HAD TO CALL THEM TO RECEIVE THAT UPDATE. Then just called today to check in and make sure the flooring that was promised to be here next week and the employee told us that it WONT BE HERE FOR ANOTHER TWO WEEKS. And once again we had to call them to receive any sort of update. Absolutely ridiculous customer service. Would have much rather ordered through Sams Club and would have gotten it in a lot quicker. Extremely frustrated and disappointed. Will NEVER come back here again.

For our first time doing floors, it was a little rough. We didnt get the exact trim pieces and had to settle for alternate. Paying cash to Kodiak Flooring(Max Flores), installers, was a mistake. Max and his crew arent professional and never finished the job. He didnt care that his own Dad no-showed/no-called twice. Im self employed. He didnt care about that either. In fact, hung up the phone one me. Horrible installers. Never again! The discount wasnt worth the hassle. I will be using Flooring Liquidators again for the rest of the house. Like many other reviews on here, Kodiak Flooring is horrible.

I wrote my initial review pre-maturely. I was promised my carpet and laminate would be installed on the Friday before Christmas. Well, the woman scheduler in Modesto just changed it to Sat, because it was more convient for her. I had planned to have movers bring my furniture on Sat,so I had to quickly make calls to cancel. Everyday there were delays. I was told your prep work is tremendous, We are finishing another job, made me feel like mine was not important. It FINALLY got finished on Thursday at 6 pm way after Christmas. Then immefiately another woman from Modezto began calling and asking when are we going to get paid??? She is calling me every day. It feels cheap, their customer service, is good when your choosing materials, but when it comes to INSTALLATION, and just caring follow up...they are not there for you. As it turned out, Home Depot was cheaper. My friend in Sac got his 3 bedroom done the SAME day, no excuses. So summing it up in the beginning, middle and end. F.Liq is strong in the beginning, very weak, non- caring ( not keeping their agreement), and in the end harrasment, they just ASSUME everyone wont pay them...and treat you as such. Sorry, I cant recommend them. Go to Home Depot. Just dontd a crpt their 1st offer. I got 3 offers for the same project ranging from $12,000 to $3000.
