I went this morning looking for new products to try and the lady helping me was incredibly nice and helpful, she helped me find my shade and didn’t give up until she found what looked best on me, I wish I would if asked for her name so I can recommend her but I did not:( she was working the morning of Tuesday august 17 and was wearing glasses, definitely recommend going to her for assistance

Went to Ulta this morning, ready to switch back to Clinic, after several years with another product. I had no make up on and Im over 60 years old. I was greeted when I walked in and went to Clinic products, I didnt touch anything, waiting for assistance...When someone came over to get a product for another customer I told her I needed help, Ill send someone over to help you. I waited for several minutes, looked at the cashier counter where 3 staff were talking to each other with no customers in line. Waited a few more minutes and left... Came home and ordered what I needed from Amazon, and it was less than the price at the store. I really try to shop local, but Amazon beats poor customer service everytime.

Today was the first time Ive ever actually been into Ulta, as I normally just shop online. But, there was an item I wanted/ was recommended by my dermatologist and I wanted it now, vs waiting a week for it to arrive. I know Ulta sells it cause I looked it up online before hand, it just didnt tell me if I could get it in store or if it was online only. Anyways, I was greeted as I walked in (and thats basically the only time any worker ever tried to interact with me.) I make my way around the store, trying to find this item, cant find it. Start walking around the store some more hoping to find a worker to assist me, and at the moment, I only saw 2. One being the cashier (who was busy) and the other doing someones makeup... so, I circle the store again, looking again. I do this about 2-3x. Cant find it. No one asks if I need assistance. Nothing. So finally I decided to wait in the check out line just so I can ask where this item is, or if they even have it. When I finally get up to the register, I ask the cashier, Emily (according to my receipt) where I can find this item. She barely looks at the picture from Ulta on my phone and responds with an attitude, nooooo.. we dont have that here. At this point Im just irritated.. I do another lap around the store, looking again, just in case, give up, and just check out with the 1 item I grabbed during my first few laps.I have a coupon for $3.50 off $15+ that I tried to scan at the register.. Forgetting my item isnt that much, Emily lets me know with her attitude that oooh, that coupons for $15 or more.. and this isnt that price.. like thanks.. I got it, my bad.I wish I had a better 1st time experience inside this store. I love the products I have bought in the past and I wouldnt mind being able to just walk in and buy them same day vs buying online. But after my experience today, not getting even offered help, or even an employee to even talk to me other then the hello, welcome in at the door or me asking the cashier for help.. I highly doubt I will ever step foot in that store again.As Im at home writing this review, I decided to look up my original item again... says its in stock at the store, but they dont carry it (Photo Attached)(I ended up going to Target and getting what I originally went for cheaper)

Beautiful place. Friendly. A lot of product to choose from.

They didnt have everything, but their customer service was very good for the ones I interacted with.Mostly I spoke with the person at the benefit counter. She was quick to address my question (gift for someone, this is price range). Found a great one from the start... And I couldnt find a better one myself after.She was knowledgable about the store and where items were. She also knew when they didnt stock a certain item. Very on the ball.The person who was the cashier (I think was the manager) was also very Friendly and helpful. Great store.

This review is specifically for the Brow Bar. I went in today to pass time. I had to be somewhere else in a hour. I talk to one of the girls doing brows today and she said it would take less than a hour to get me in but if she becomes available she would tell me. Well lucky me she had someone cancel so I was able to get my brows and my lip done just in time. Not only that but the girl did a great job. Thank you.

This location has the best employees. Even when we had a big issue with a gift card multiple employees spent the time trying to figure out my problem and made sure I left with my problem solved and had the things I came for.

They are friendly people, that salon in the back is perfect. My hair was done the way I wanted, little more itchy then I remember bleaching hair would be. Even so it was nice company, they go above and beyond to make it perfect.

Everyone is so friendly and helpful at this one. AND I especially like the order online, pick up at the store option. Used it today and it was easy least!

Good selection but need better service or online help. I went to pick up an order that was placed online there were 2 items. When I arrived I saw only 1 item. I was told then that they didnt have other item in store, so then I asked if I could order it online, she says yes and orders it and I leave to another store in shopping center and notice on my email that the item is the same one I just got at the store. I go back to Ulta to discuss mess up then am told that they cannot fix it and I have to go home and call 1 800 number to fix. I arrived home called and told them what happened and after all the details are discussed I am told that they are not guaranteeing that it will be fixed. I hang up and get an email that it was not fixed and I will receive a the same thing I just picked up. What in the...... All this running around that could have been avoided if the person took their time in the first place.

Had a really good experience. 5 minutes till closing on a sunday. The associates and manager were patient, happy and awesome.

Never have enough colors for women of color.

Good selection, strange cashier. I was told that even with a receipt I couldnt get any kind of refund unless I provided my telephone number.

The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful, I just went in to check out what was new and look over the hot beauty buys that were on sale and ended up spending more time. The selection is extensive. But for a Saturday afternoon they could have more checkers. The line was 5 people in front of me and it took awhile to pay and leave...

Im not the richest chick in the world BUT u can find make up & hair care here affordable!! Plus if u get on their rewards system u get coupons! Plus they always have sales! Im so glad Yuba City finally brought us an Ulta

Went in and got hair dyed was quoted $120 and they did the hair. Turned out too light and the girl told us to get a product to put in the hair which would help with the color being off. So we bought the product and the girl rung us up for $290.... Looking at the receipt the products were $50 but the service we received had magically doubled to $240 with no explanation. Crazy they would not do it correct, pitch a product to make up for it, and double the price. Currently waiting for a manager to call us. Not sure if anything will be done about.A manager Erika called us apologized and refunded the cost of the hair. Minus the weird price situation the girls were nice and it was a good experience. They fixed the situation and went a step farther by refunding the entire process.Original review 1 star for all the problemsIf there had been no problems it would have been a 4 star for just a slightly off colorFinal review 3 star - 1 star for several days of trying to correct the situation.

My wife went in to get a special purchase at this Ulta. They didnt know what she was talking about even though the gift with purchase started the day before. There was an extremely rude tall dark haired employee that when questioned about the gift with purchase said they were out of stock. It was the second day of this special with a 16.00 free gift. My wife then informed her that the free gift was on the shelf. Her response was why dont you go to the back of the store, get it yourself and show me. My wife did so and the girl didnt even apologize. I guess youre right was her apology. We have been to Ulta all over the Sacramento area and this location has the worst employees in the chain. All attitude and no knowledge. If I want attitude Id go to Tiffanys for a ring not Ulta for makeup.

If you love makeup it is the spot. I used the brow service not a bit pain. I didnt even have a red spot after my lip was waxed.

The employees here are racist towards black people. Wearing a short sleeve solid color shirt, blue jeans carrying a small wallet and my cellphone and was treated like a criminal as soon as I walked in.

Drugstore brands are less expensive here than anyplace, when you shop sale and use weekly coupon. Service is always friendly and competant.

Love it! I like to walk around the store looking at all the different high end and drug store make up.

This store had products that other ultas didnt. Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean and well organized with that small town hospitality feel.

This is the second time Ive been into this Ulta and have either been lied to or not helped. I went in Saturday and asked if a product was available and the girl told me no. My mother (who is white) came in 5 mins after and asked her for the same product which miraculously appeared. I wont be returning.

Horrible customer service. I thought Mario was nice but they should reconsider their hair dresser Andrea. She is rude, crude and unprofessional. I dont appreciate listening to potty mouth talk. If she wants to talk so poorly maybe she should take that trash to the bar. She is no lady.
