With every visit to do a pawn or a layaway, it has been THE best experience than any other pawn shop I have dealt with in the Baton Rouge and Zachary area. I have been dealing with Bayou Pawn for years. They never make you feel small or low when you come in to pawn. They make you feel like family. Even if they can’t take whatever you bring in they are very nice about. No make you nervous. I also learn from the staff about jewelry or guns or TVs or tools or even computers. Bayou pawn in Zachary, La. is my greatest store ever. I get to buy anything I want to from that store without paying for it all at once. I can put it on layaway for 3 to 6 months or more. That gives me time to pay for other things I have to pay for, and still purchase guns, ammo, etc without being on strain. Where can you go and do that year round. My brother Josh and Jesse knows everything about guns at Bayou pawn.

Bayou Pawn is the ONLY pawn shop that I use. The workers are all friendly and greet you upon entrance They are willing to work with you if you are in a bind. Very professional atmosphere.

Used to go there all the time but they hired some older guy that seems he hates his job and talking to people. Needless to say, I found another pawn shop to do business with. If you are pawning or selling firearms then this is an excellent pawn shop for that. They have a very nice selection of pistols and rifles to buy as well. But if you are pawning anything else you arent gonna get a decent price for it. They go by a 25% rule and only offer a quarter of what its worth according to what it can be bought for on EBay. Other pawn shops Ive used go by a 1/3rd rule and some like on television actually will give 50% or at least 40% of what its worth. Considering when they sell it at the 50% rule they are doubling their investment in it. Also if pawning or selling Jewelry that has diamonds or precious stones mounted in gold or etc......they do not give the pawn or sell price for the setting or piece has a whole. They only will offer what the scrap gold in worth. They wont give you anything for the diamonds that are in it. I went to sell a 1/2 kt solitare white gold diamond engagement ring and was offered 35 or 45 bucks and refused then went to another place in Baton Rouge and the other place gave me 280. So its a great place for firearms, not so much for other items.

Bayou pawn is the best around for deals on just about anything. Really appreciate Jesse’s help with a firearm today!

Great group of people for purchasing a new weapon. You can tell these guys want your local business and are hospitable to back it up. Should go there for all your new weapons purchases. They can order just about anything with a minimum of half down to make the order. With better than competitive prices.
