I really enjoy shopping at locally owned businesses. The entire staff is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I truly enjoy all of the items I have purchased at Paragon.

Mr.Richard was so friendly and we took more than enogh time to choose which headphone to buy. Though we were there to try and buy a headphone, he let us to try other speaker demo also and we had a great time with Wilson Alexandria speakers and Dan Dagostino amplifiers with dCS source gears. What a great experience!!

I went into the store on two separate occasions over the past year with specific wants in mind. The first occasion was for a phono preamp for my system. I was shown some examples and unfortunately none were in stock and I decided to go buy a unit from a different store which had them in stock. I went back to Paragon about 6 months later because my receiver was having issues and I wanted to replace it. I spoke to the sales person who was knowledgeable about the equipment but didnt want to in my opinion work with someone who wasnt in the market for a super high end piece of equipment. I told him my price range was about $2,000 and he mentioned that they just received some receivers in the price range for some of their customer installations. I mentioned if you have any unsold that meet my price range and wants I would be glad to buy one right now. Instead I was told that he didnt have any on display and he would give me some literature on the in stock receivers. Mind you I was in need at that moment and ready to buy. Needless to say I guess my small purchase was not a priority to the sales person and I left feeling slighted. I went to a competitor and bought the same brand and a model with more features the same day. My impression from my interaction is if its not a high end customer install or deep pocket customer then the midrange audiophiles are not important. I will gladly spend my hard earned dollars where I am not rushed out or given literature to get back to their real customers again. I will never patronage their store for my audio needs again.

Ive been wanting to write a review of this place for a while, except it felt in bad form since I was employed there. Now that weve since parted ways, I finally feel safe telling the world how amazing this place actually is.The first thing that struck me was that, from the top down, the people care. From the owner himself to the newest hire, the staff will work to get you the best deal on the highest quality (and its quite high quality indeed) gear that fits your budget and your system.But its not just an honest sales process, its an educational one. Someone on staff will have an answer to your question no matter how obscure it is to how new the equipment is or how old a piece may be. They continually stay up to date on training for all the brands they carry, flying employees across states and oceans to get the best, most up to date information straight from there manufacturers.And the brands they do carry are thoroughly vetted. If theres a brand they have that youre unfamiliar with, you wont regret coming in to hear what they have to offer. Youll be impressed. I have a thing for Rogers, but thats just me.So yeah, I might be biased, but at the same time Id probably be first in line to say if things were shady or below board since they aint paying me anymore. However, thats simply not the case. If there were six stars to offer, Id argue for seven.

They helped on ordering my service request to modify and re-calibrate my speaker cable. Originally I was talking to the manufacture directly and need Paragons help for all the logistics. Amanda from Paragon called within 10 minutes after the manufacture reached out for my request. Laid out a detail logistics and expectation on the request and the manufacture get my order right away. Truly state of art service. And they work with anyone not just limited to certain region. Truly state of art service! Highly recommended!

Set up an appointment, guy shows up, and suggests I put my surround sound in myself. Mentioned how small the room is and promised a quote and never gave it to me.Unless you have big bucks to spend stay away.

Although it was just before the holidays, Kale, from Paragon met with us to determine how we might update our sound/TV system. And, unbelievably, we were up and running before Christmas arrived. The system that Kale installed for us is amazing and extremely user-friendly for two old electronics-challenged people. Kale is efficient, friendly, punctual, and a great teacher! Our experience was so positive that now we plan to have Paragon install a huge TV in our game-room so we can continue to watch Ohio State beat Michigan each year.

I recently came into possession of a turntable from the 80s that was in rather bad shape that needed a new cartridge. As a retro-tech illiterate millennial, I have no idea how any of this stuff works! The wonderful people at Paragon cleaned it up for me and replaced the cartridge— while giving me some stellar advice on what more to do with it. Amanda was so incredibly helpful, as were the other gentlemen whose names I did not catch (you know who you are!). I will recommend this place to anyone who has sight or sound needs! Yay local businesses!

I was working in the area and all ways wanted to check this place out. 5 listening areas with amazing gear. They also have a room full of high end used gear. Great selection of accessories. Turntable mats, cartridges, record cleaning supplies. Great selection of turntables and phono amps from super high end to semi high end. Very nice about letting me look around.

This is the place to go for great sounding audiophile equipment. The staff will definitely spend time with you to pick out the right stuff for your listening room.

I found out that Paragon had special deal for a discontinued Wadia a340 mono-block amps.I contacted Richard at Paragon directly and because Richard was out of town, Amanda helped me with my purchase.Amanda answered all my questions,accepted my offer, accommodate my request for split payment between my 2 credit cards, let me choose serial numbers of the mono-block amps from their remaining inventory, follow up with tracking number and always prompt and nice in responding to my emails.The amps arrived today and it is just as described, brand new, sealed in the box. I am very happy and satisfied with my buying experience from Amanda and Paragon.I am looking forward to purchase more High-End Equipment from them next year when I move to my new home. I enjoy being able to shop for Bowers and wilkins gear here. Their selection is a bit limited. If one wants to build a system it is great. Yet if one is looking for near field then they may want to look elsewhere.

We made a nearly four hour round trip to audition Astell&Kern audio players. We did do that, but we did so much more. Richard was awesome to work with and helpful at every turn. He brought us headphone after headphone to try and play with even though we had no intention of buying a pair on this trip. We did leave with an Astrell&Kern Kann and a pair of Focal Elear headphones we fell in love with. Even though we were past closing and even though we would NEVER be able to afford it, they took the time to allow us to audition very high end gear in their listening room. Fantastic day and a very memorable experience. These guys are great at what they do, and good lord do they have some amazing gear to behold.

Top notch audio equipment in a state of the art facility. The staff is knowledgeable, courteous and sincere. They have 5 very nice listening rooms and 3 additional areas to try equipment in ways that fit many real life environments. They carry Wilson Audio, Sonus Faber, B&W, Parasound, McIntosh, Pro-ject, Audio Research, Sumiko, MoFi, DCS, Hana, Grado headphones, Focal headphones among other high end audio brands. They also have some used gear for sale, so theyre trying to accommodate everyone with an interest in high quality audio reproduction. As of the summer of 2018 they had dozens of turntables and tube powered amps and preamps on display. Its not a sprawling store, but their selection is broad and leans toward the high end. This is a real find in an era when retail stereo shops are becoming less and less common.
