Great customer service he helped me when I was looking for but its a lot of stuff in there. I wish they can get some help in there to make it more cleaner.

Decent, I was given the information on the dvd I had wanted to sell brand new out of the box still sealed. Was informed that their system was not yet updated on that product (anime normally is very slow to be inputted into their system for sales or purchases)Was able to sell games in under 5 minutes for expected prices.

I’ve always enjoyed coming here! I wanted to give a shout-out to the gentleman that helped me and my husband find this old movie, Cobra. They had two copies and he searched a few end caps and in the aisles and we couldn’t find it. But then he did because he remembered putting it on a display for the fast and the furious because the cars in the double feature pack were really epic! I’m so thankful for him! I wish I could remember his name, but I’m sure if he read this he’d remember. Thank you, dude!!

Lots of used and new movies, games, some music. No audio books though. They even have some vhs tapes for those of you like me that still have a vcr.

I was looking for 5 older movies and called ahead to verify they were in stock. When I got there and asked to be pointed in the right direction the MTC employee rather scoured the store and gathered the movies for me. And the place was pretty busy at the time, too. I really appreciated the personal attention I received. I am not a regular customer but will definitely return again and highly recommend this MTC location.

The staff has always been the best and very sociable. They offer disc buffering services for damaged movies/games. A sweet comic/visual novel collection, and tons of old and new movies and games. Also, as a bonus, they offer game and movie rentals if you dont want to commit to buying a movie/game. Stop in and support this wonderful place.

Huge selection of everything video games, movies, posters and even comic books. Didnt realize that Movie Trading Company had comics so it was nice to scan the selection and pick out a couple of my favorite Marvel Comics.

Such a great selection of all entertainment! Their Manga section is the one we prefer over any other place to buy. Their video games are very reasonable priced and more movies than you could possibly imagine! We go there all the time and cant get enough of it! Especially when they have their deals going!

Great place been a few times. Once I was scolded by the blonde one for pulling my mask down to talk to my deaf friend. The other was a cute dark haired girl who was really cute and actual lowered her mask to help my deaf friend...BIG difference in two visits....cost ya 2 stars.

This place almost always has what Im looking for and when they dont they can usually order it. The employees are super cool and they have such a wide selection of everything there.

Friendly staff, great prices, large selection of merchandise. DVDs are near obsolete but not all movies are online, on Roku or Firestick. Sometimes you have to go old school. MTC usually has it or they can get it. This should be 4 1/2 stars.

I must not be the last one with a DVD collection. Even with most people streaming these days I always see people shopping when I go to movie trading Co. This is my go to spot when I want to watch a movie but dont feel like blowing $4 or more on a one time amazon view. Theyve got a whole aisle just for horror films.

Not worth the time or day if you go there to sell movies. I had over 160 new and used movies in great condition (dad passed away and I inherited his collection of movies).After an hour wait, they offered me $23 dollars for 160 movies...No thank you! I end up selling them all in bulk to an individual for $100.

They have one of the largest selections of movies, collectibles, and video games. I buy all of my vintage games from here! Their prices are fair and they test all of their games and consoles.

Sold them LIKE 50 Disney children VCR movies and some DVD movies and they freaking only paid me $3.75 it was a rip off

I love this place. Movies, figures, music, gaming from Atari and beyond. Some stuff is priced for convenience and some is priced well below normal. Its a treasure hunt every visit.

We took a bunch of movies in and got a really good deal.

Good selection of vintage games and other nerdy Nick knacks, very friendly staff and always welcoming me in.

They send out texts / emails about Big Sales.....but I couldnt find anything that was on any of those Sales. Used Items were mostly on those sales. Out of ALL Nintendo Switch Games, there was only ONE used one (Fire Emblem = $55 used) and & probably 40 new ones. I still couldnt prove they were new because all they had were the cases out of course but all the games were behind the counter so they could have been used and just marked as new. Who knows? Had a decent selection of older games but they still were not very cheap. Atari games might be old enough to be considered Vintage, but I was shocked that they were all about $5 each, some much more. I was just looking for Nintendo games though. Had a pretty good selection of Wii Games, but any game that WAS remotely popular YEARS AGO was still $30-$40....for a WII GAME! They had ZERO Amiibo....I even asked cuz I thought I just wasnt finding them. Everything was just VERY overpriced & VERY unorganized. If you wanted to get on any of their sales, you needed to be prepared to spend about $50. Most were Buy 2, Get 1 Free. You can leave GameStop with a whole bag of the same games that youd find @ MTC for the price of 3 games on one of their little sales there! Way too expensive. Look online first and try eBay for any of the Vintage stuff. On the other hand, I guess its a good place if youre one of those people that still buy DVD Movies 😂

0 StarsToday my husband and I decided to pop into the Arlington, TX Location #48655 of Movie Trading Company. We are frequent customers of the location in fort worth where they are always kind. I will not go to the Arlington location because the customer service is always horrible, and we feel like we are discriminated against by the staff. But we were in the area and decided to give them one more chance. We found a sword stand that had a price sticker on it I asked to buy it and the salesperson said it wasnt for sale when I asked about the price tag he again said its not for sale. My husband loves movie trading company but his trinkets at a discounted price are not worth the mistreatment. We will spend a little more somewhere else.

Nice people here but the girl with the green/blue hair stay clear rude and thinks she knows it all will interrupt her colleagues Just to try to prove them wrong or putting here nose where it shouldnt be wasnt talking to her got into my conversation and was very annoying holding items for customers when all I wanted to know if they had more than one thanks to the friendly guy who helped me out today he tried his best to get me what I needed unlike other. Im paying customer that spent about $500 there in less than 10 minutes come on now fix the rudeness you dont know who you could be scaring away .

Very big place to buy some new, used and sell them too . You may find some hard to find moves etc.

Lots of great stuff to look at and was surprised to find a decent sized funko pop and anime section. If all the figures werent mostly DragonBall and more variety, theyd be killing it! But lots of anime on DVD and some Manga.

People please go to the one in Dallas or Hurts locations, they are better than this Arlington location. Employees here dont know how to run store. For example today they have False advertising!!!! This place in Arligton give the wrong price to customers. They mark one price on items then at the register change it. Bad reputation for your business.Be aware period.

Nobody came to ask if i needed help finding something. I asked a guy that was walking around about any Frankinstein Movies. Instead of him checking on computer, he just showed me me 1 Frankenstein Movie on a shelf.

Unfriendly and Completely unprofessional. The employees were rude and unwelcoming. Then a manager started yelling about a phone call she received in store and didn’t agree with, literally yelling in full blast like a child in front of customers and my small children. I don’t care what was said it’s a place of business and that was ridiculous. I tried to complain to a manager and got laughed at and dismissed. I’ll never return to this location and plan to call corporate.

They have a large variety of movies, games, TV shows, music, and even comic books and collectibles. Its easy to find rare items here, I once got a DVD box set here for $12 when it was $45 on Amazon. They also offer new items, but these are sometimes priced $2-5 more than elsewhere so they can make a profit on it. If you cant find something, they can special order it from another Movie Trading Company store (theyre part of a chain) or online, and offer free shipping (via a $3 credit thats refunded back to you in the form of a coupon which comes with your order) to the store or your home address.

Best place to pick up some movies for a great Friday movie night.

Always has a good selection of used games and movies. They are especially great during sale and events. Generally they are a bit over price but if you can get there during a sale its a great deal.

Terrible customer service. The dude with the beard is unbelievably rude. Unorganized and overall a total mess. I would recommend purchasing vintage items on the internet instead.

Trading in old movies and old games here is like trading in games at GameStop, next to no money for your items. However they have a great selection of old and modern movies and games for decent prices.

This is a great hidden gem. Excellent customer service. The music they play is addictive and youll want to steal the playlist. Youll find hard to find gaming swag and equipment, old school games/systems, manga/comics, music and movies. Prepare to spend at least 30+ minutes lurking in goodies.

I have shopped at many places over the years for movies and found poor selection or far over pricing. Movie Trading Company had all of the obscure movies I was looking for and at prices that rival Amazons stock. They also carry a good selection of gaming items that are not console based. This location met all of my needs and provided assistance to help find what I wanted. I will continue to do business in the future with this location.
