Went this past Friday and was beyond impressed with the service the owner provided. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He took his time to check my running form and provided me with tips on improving it. He took into account my past injuries and the amount of training I do. Also, as military he provided me with a free pair of socks which where great. Not only did he take his time to pick a shoe that works well for me but also recommended a wonderful place for my husband and I to visit while in town. Will be coming back again when we are back in town. Come here for your running needs.

Top notch store, the owner Alec is very knowledgeable and has years of experience to help you decide what running shoes to get. He helped me improve on my running times and form from the first day I went. I went to other running stores but they wasn’t able to help me the way Highland runners did.

Had a great experience at Highland Runners today! My husband and I went in to get new running shoes. Alec who was working there was very helpful and personal. After looking at the wear and tear on our current shoes and asking about our activity level and styles, he was able to recommend shoes for each of us. After trying on each style, we got on the treadmill for a quick test to see how they felt. Eventually, I found a pair (Saucony brand) that were not only cute - they felt great too. Excited to take my first run in these new shoes! Normally I buy shoes online, but I loved being able to try them on and test them on the treadmill in store. And the shoes were only $100. Will definitely come back next time I need a new pair.

This isnt a grab-and-go show store. Usually, I would go in to another shoe store and just pick something that looks good. At this store, they see how you run and provide tips on improving your form, and recommend a shoe that would benefit you. Also, their shoes look cool.

I had an amazing experience here. I am prone to running related injuries, and I was given tips on changes I can make to prevent injuries after I was fitted for sneakers and my gait was analyzed. My new sneakers are amazing. The store also has many different accessories for runners, none of which were pushed on me, and all of which I am glad I purchased. I would highly recommend this place!

I love purchasing my running shoes at Highland Runners! They have a pretty good selection of running shoes and a treadmill you can try the shoes on. Friendly atmosphere and knowledgeable staff. Each time I go, I always bring the pair thatll be replaced and show them to the employee helping me. By doing this theyre about to recommend different shoes to try. I recommend that you test out shoes everytime (be sure to come later in the day to get a more accurate fitting, feet will swell naturally as the day progresses). This is because shoe manufacturers frequently come out with new versions of the same model. On another note they have a regularly scheduled running group, I recommend it if you want to be part of a community.

I had an excellent experience at Highland Runners. I am rehabbing from Achilles surgery and was concerned about getting the best shoe and fit to get me back to running. Knew the style of Nikes I had always worn wouldnt cut it. Alec did an awesome job of finding me the perfect shoes, having me try on several different shoes and sizes and run on their treadmill. He was very knowledgeable about the brands and styles and what would work for me and my feet. He also gave me sound running advice!

Visited this store today and had an incredible experience! This place large variety of exceptional running shoes. They perform a gait analysis and will find the shoe that will help you get the most from your run, while keeping you comfortable. I was also in the store looking to buy a new GPS watch and had set my sights on one of the more expensive watches, but the salesman actually tried to convince me to buy one of the cheaper models instead of trying to pitch the one that cost more. That is a rare quality that you will not find any many other stores.

I love Highland Runners and have been going to them for all of my running needs for years now (so many pairs of shoes, lol). The owner and staff are always lively, ready to help and full of great conversation. I love to support local small businesses so go check them out! Plus they host group runs on Tuesdays. :)

Very positive experience. I really enjoyed the gate analysis and how informative/helpful the salesperson was (I dont remember his name). As a result--I got a totally different shoes from what Ive been wearing for basically my entire life, and on the first two runs with them, my knee/achilles pain is almost undetectable! As an avid runner, Ive been to just about all of the running stores in ATL. I must say, I was beyond impress with Highland Runners. First thing I noticed was their different and unique product offering of running shoes which was intriguing. Loved their apparel selection and leggings! I was most impressed with their gait analysis. I had recently gone to a physical therapist and was told that my left hip drops. During the analysis at HR, they were able to point out the exact same thing which no other running store has ever mentioned! I was fitted with On Cloudflyer. I ran 6 miles this morning and love them! I highly recommend this place if youre looking for a top gait analysis and properly fitted running shoes!
