I have a huge fear of car dealerships … more precisely, car salesmen. When push comes to shove they are doing the pushing and the shoving! Lo and behold it didn’t happen at Wickstrom. Two sales guys either sensed my trepidation or they are just naturally nice people. Pat and Nathan were actually human beings!Every step of the process was painless, friendly and helpful. I came away thinking I’ll probably lease an F150 the rest of my life. And, I’ll likely do it through Wickstrom. Even their TV ads aren’t that bad. At least Richard and Colin aren’t clowns.What’s more, they hire good people, like Pat and Nathan to take care of customers. Don’t take my word for it. Go in and meet them.

We always get friendly, helpful service. Their sales staff seem honest and upfront. The problem weve had lately is that their mechanics have not been able to fix anything beyond the basic oil change. We took our car in for the rear hatch three times and each time they charge us another $600, tell us the problem is fixed only to find its now something else we get to pay for. Its too bad that a once trusted and reliable service center is letting us down.

We traded in our ram truck for a new used Ford and it was the the EASIEST and most pleasant experience. We dealt with Robinson and he was the best. The price was perfect and made buying a vehicle an enjoyable experience. We will definitely go to them from here on out!!

I spent hours test driving trucks at another dealer, to find one I was seriously interested. Only to find a additional fee on top of the original asking price that was not disclosed. I left there and stopped in at Wickstrom Ford - Barrington. I was immediately greeted by Michael Kajdanowski who immediately turned the day around. He was able to get a sense of what I was looking for and narrowed down to two vehicles within not even 15 minutes. Micheal was friendly and was able to effectively answer every question. It felt like I was choosing a vehicle with a friend instead of the feeling like just a sale was trying to be made. Trying to buy a car this summer was frustrating. It was very difficult for me to find a Corsair the way I wanted. My previous lease was up on my Jaguar F-Pace and I was on the search for a larger SUV for our family. We test drove an Audi, Volvo, and a Lincoln Aviator at other dealerships. Really suspicious service. I built a F150 using the Costco auto program, and got matched with the dealership. I was contacted by a representative and was told that the F150’s and super duty models weren’t included.... well then why was I match with your dealership. Really disappointing. I understand it’s a sellers market due to truck supply and demand, but it’s not good practice for them to take advantage of the program when it’s convenient for them. I explained my dissatisfaction to the Costco auto program, and was contacted by Wickstrom again, noting that they will offer the Costco price for a special order, but not something on their lot. Which is not how the program works, but regardless I took my business elsewhere. Really disappointing, dishonest, and makes me not trust them.

Had a great experience from start to finish with Wickstrom and my salesperson, Robinson Logue. I highly recommend this gentleman and this company.

I have owned Fords for 2 decades and have brought my cars to Wickstrom for close to that. A known door panel problem on my explorer occurred and I stopped by. I was told no problem Ford will take care of it. I made my appt. and was told by another rep Eric that I was 1000 miles over what they would cover but that he would set up a case to dispute it. I had them do the work at $165 per hour thinking they would settle w/ Ford. Eric was going to call me w/ in a couple of days and never did. Today I called them over 2 weeks later and a messenger told me Eric apologized for no call back but it was not covered by Ford. Fortunately, I called Ford myself and got it covered for reimbursement. Poor customer service made worse by Eric himself not even apologizing.

I was having a difficult experience with a service writer when I brought my car in. I was going to just give up and fix the car myself and never go back there. So I reached out to Mr. Colin Wickstrom via email and he straighten everything out for me and exceeded my expectations. They went over an beyond to take care of my vehicle. I will most definitely be going back there for all of my service work and will spread the good word. Ask for Frank at the service desk, we got along very well, he is exceptional and informative at his job.

Some of the worst customer service ever. If I could rate 0 I would I went into the dealership looking to buy a new Ford Edge my sales representatives name was Nathan He wasnt very personable and honestly the whole dealership seem like they were not in the mood or willing to sell cars that day I want to see a 2021 for edge they only had one in stock when I ask to see it I was told well the finance managers driving it they are really hard to come by right now so I said let me get this straight you cant get them in stack and the only 1 you have your finance managers driving and I cant see it I was shown a 2020 ford edge But I wanted the only other one they had in I dont know if someone else had their eye on it but i was very deterred away from the car I was told they would go over some numbers and will get back to you. I have never left the dealership where they didnt want to deal with you and make a deal that day it wasnt before they were closing it wasnt like we were there really late I ended up calling them back and talking to Nathan and telling him we were not interested in moving forward with the deal just because I did not feel comfortable with the dealership and how I was left instead of him asking what he could do to make me feel more comfortable or how he could make this deal happen I was met with OK have a nice day This dealership is just bad. I ended up going to Hawke Ford in st charles which is way far from my house but they were so nice I walked away with everything I wanted

2020 review of Wickstrom..2019 F150 Lariat w/11k miles purchased.Facts:-Dealer processing fees increased day of purchase when sitting down to purchase (management later refunded).-Vehicle is getting ~$2k worth of warranty work done by local dealer 1 week after purchase.-Details (facts) of previous conversations changed after purchase of vehicle.-Requested to obtain license plates locally (denied from dealer). Paid fee for license/plate processing. Dealer said this was value added service. WI license plates taking 3+ weeks for receipt. Unacceptable.-Incompetent errors from finance personal while purchasing (remaining warranty length error, amount owed error, length of time to obtain license plate error, license and title fee error.)...

My experience working with this dealership was simply awful. They took my deposit for a time-sensitive order only to provide horrible (mis)communication and ended up revealing they were unable to fill the order weeks later. Even in letting me know they were unable to fill the order they were exceptionally rude.

Absolutely the best experience Ive ever had with a service department. John was top notch. He called me with updates and made sure everything was handled with my extended warrenty. I didnt have to do anything. I highly recommend using them for your Ford/Lincoln service needs.

Due to the nature of the accident my vehicle that I had leased from Ford WICKSTROM was considered a total loss. I was so upset because I really love that Ford escape and I enjoy driving it with my children. I am so grateful for the support and care that was taken as I leased a new car today with Ford WICKSTROM. This time I leased a Lincoln and already feel comfortable driving it. Car seats in the back and ready to go! Going on my tenth year leasing cars with them and they are always helpful. We bought our first vehicle from Wickstrom almost 10 years ago and were very pleased. Our youngest was ready to buy her first car so of course we went there. She bought her car from Shawn who was wonderful. We went back a few months later and I got a new car. Of course we went with Shawn again.
