What can I say, my experience was amazing! I had been to other jewelry stores and left unimpressed. I came in to get a gift to treat myself. It was busy in the store, so I worried that I wouldnt be able to be helped. I was greeted by an older gentleman, I dont remember his name, but he directed me to bracelets. I browsed bracelets and Maurice came over and helped me in a short amount of time. He was very helpful, not only did I get a bracelet, but I ended up with some earrings too! He was very professional and I found out he was the manager! 5 stars for the shopping experience. Thanks again!!!
I wanted to leave a review as an insight to my recent experience at the Kay Jewelers in Beachwood Mall. I went in looking to get an anniversary gift for my husband. I wasnt quite sure what to get, and had been looking all over the mall. I was greeted almost immediately by the store manager, Maurice. He was friendly, and patient with my indeciveness. Not only did he help me find the perfect gift for my husband, but he helped me find some future gift ideas too! I would highly recommend this location and ask for Maurice, he wont steer you wrong. My husband LOVES the gift.
I needed to pick out a gift item for my wife. I told the associate Isaac and He pointed me in the right direction. His customer service skills were amazing! He was polite and very knowledgeable in jewelry. I’m glad I was able to get in and get out as Isaac made the process very easy. Thank you Isaac, and Thank you Kay Jewelers!!!!
The store manager helped me initially. He was friendly, respectful, and accommodating. However, he had to leave and asked his associate to handle the completion of the sale. I did not get her name but her personality was dry and borderline rude. I spent over $5,000.00 in this store and could not even get a “thank you for shopping with us” or “have a great day, please come again” she needs to be trained in connecting with the customer experience and showing enthusiasm for the people that make it possible for her to be employed. If people don’t shop then stores close! I will not be returning to this location because I just don’t want to be bothered with this kind of sales associate. The experience really made me feel devalued as a customer and no one wants to spend their money with people like that!!
Buyers beware! Nothing but bad experiences here. The manager (his name is Maurice) is a pure creep and literally tried to pick me up while I was shopping for my boyfriend! Trying to remain positive, they have a good repair policy. This helps when all the tiny stones fall out of my ring and my jewelry falls apart! My business is going elsewhere.
Isaac was extremely helpful and answered all of my questions, no matter what I was asking. I really appreciate his help and highly recommend asking for his services.
Recently, I had an opportunity to work with Molly at Kay Jewelers at the Beachwood Mall location and she was such a pleasure to work with. Molly was very attentive, professional, was not a pushy sales person, was personable, we had a great rapport and she helped me find some great jewelry as well. It just so happened that I had family that was very sick and she said some very encouraging words to me and it made me feel valuable and as if she really cared about me as a person. Molly took a real interest in me as a customer and did not make me feel as if I was a number. I appreciated the service that she provided to me during my sales and repair experiences. I had three repairs and each time she was patient, helpful and respectful each time I had to come back to the store. I enjoyed each experience working with her and will definitely shop with Molly again. I have not always enjoyed shopping in the Sterling stores, because I felt that some of the salespeople were rude or pushy, but Molly provided an excellent experience for me.
As a Christian who has worked here, I would say that Im completely disappointed in this Kays. It stems from the top. The store manager (Maurice F.) only cares about himself and uses everyone (including co-workers) to get his. The horror stories I could tell. Corporate knows of most of the unethical behavior, but choose to look the other way for their star salesman. $$$ Unfortunately, unprofessionalism trickles down from the top and other workers have adapted this toxic behavior. Please be cautious shopping here as the standards have dropped considerably. I wish I had better words to write.
Kay has always made my jewelry shopping experience worthwhile and I always leave there in great spirits. The staff are always knowledgeable about current deals and specials and assist me with choosing jewelry within my budget without making me feel as if my budget is to small for quality jewelry.
Overpriced, junk jewelry dealer. Along with terrible quality jewelry, theyll push credit apps on you. The manager, Maurice, is as shady as it gets. If you dont like to be pounced on by commissioned vultures, avoid this place like the plague!
They were nice, but took 30min to locate a repair that was ready yesterday.
I was in the beachwood store on February 10 to get my ring and necklace fixed. Let me just say I will NEVER go back to that store or at least on the days Maurice is working. I felt so uncomfortable, I just wanted him to hurry up on my repair so I could leave. Maurice was so inappropiate, all i wanted to do was get my jewelry fixed and finish my shopping. But he was pressuring me into opening an account and tried to get me to upgrade my ring.I told him no thank you and to please just send my lewelry out to get fixed. During all of this he kept flirting with me even after I told him I was married. My husband and I have been shopping with Kays for years now and I must say this was by far the worse experience ever.
5 stars all the way.. been dealing with Maurice for years since he was at the mentor mall.. his customer service is so good I go out to Beachwood now. Comes in on one of his only days off to get me taken care of. You won’t be disappointed
BUYER BEWARE: I was sold a used ring as if it were new. I know someone else had already worn this ring extensively because of all the scratches on the underside of an otherwise beautiful ring. The salesman claimed it had just been in the case “longer than others” and was more interested in his commission than being honest. Had he told me the ring had been returned for whatever reason and sold it to me at a pre-owned (-50% off) price, I would have kept it. Instead he opted to sell a replacement warranty on top of withholding details about the ring, which is why I returned it for a full refund and purchased from another jeweler in the same mall. Ashcroft had better selection and Zales had better prices anyway.

Amy and staff were awesome! I used to do business at the Mentor store. Due to my last negative experience I came here. First I called and spoke with Amy who promised my experience would be better in Beachwood. Boy was it! She placed special orders for me and told me the best day to come in and have my ring fixed. She was AMAZING! I’m thankful for their service and commitment to their customers. Any restored my faith in the Kay brand, thank you! I’m a very satisfied customer.
