Well, I must say that I like this business! The owner is very personable, professional and knowledgeable. I sold some gold to him, and I must admit that I thought he was fair. ( I simply abhor greedy business owners). I will most definitely recommend him to folks.

Worst customer service ever waited over 20 minutes while one person was right in front of me and paid no attention or make any effort to see what i needed and then when I finally get into the back to see what ammo I was going to get the box look like they got it out the garbage and overpriced

Not only have I purchased many items through Jeffrey Simmons at Franklin but he has been my FFL for any firearms I have purchased online since federal law requires that any firearm purchased be delivered in person and required paperwork done by a licensed agent. His service has been nothing but exemplary and he has gone out of his way to take care of me and many of my friends as well.

STAY AWAY! The service is good when they selling but awful afterwords... I was sold a firearm that was unsafe to shoot and later found out from a friend of the seller that the actual seller Jeffery Simmons was aware of the issue... and sold the firearm to me anyway without making me aware of the issue. This is bad news for anyone buying anything from Franklin Gold and Silver Exchange. This is my first time leaving a bad review for any place of business. My honest advise is to go somewhere else as these guys are no good. When I informed him of the issue the first thing out of his mouth was No returns. I was only letting him know and did not even mention anything about a return. Just goes to show what kind of a place he is running.

I purchased a gun from them on Gunbroker and they did not fully disclose the condition. They are the most unethical and deceptive firm or person I have ever dealt with it. The office manager is a flat our liar and unethical. Tells me it was my responsibility to ask for more pictures and that the gun was damaged in shipping, it was damaged when they shipped it and it shows in their own pictures that the wood was cracked and the front sight broken. Stay away from the business

I have known the owners of Franklin Gold and Silver Exchange personally for more than 40 years. I have done business with them that was far in excess of $100,000.00 during this time. Its sad that a few disgruntled customers could drag down a good, sound business entity. We know there are many 2nd amendment opponents who will do anything to oppress the right of Americans to bear arms. I unequivocally trust the Franklin Gold and Silver Exchange business model and would not hesitate to purchase anything from them. Although they did move about 10 years ago, they have had a storefront within 500 yards of where they are now for almost 40 years (Actually 1982 if I remember right). You have to ask yourself: Would a company be in business that long if they had been treating customers improperly? The simple answer is no. They would have been gone long ago. I would buy from them today if I needed something, but it probably will be in the fall.

Recently I bought a Winchester model 94 rifle from Franklin Gold and silver . The gun was originaland very clean . I cant believe how good the service was very fast and efficient . I will be back for morebargains like this . Jeffery Simmons is a fine fellow to do business with .

Be very wary of this outfit. Read their horrible reviews before doing business with them. I guess you should expect pawn shops to be abusers in general but this is one of the worst pawn shops.
