Okay after three times of trying to get my coins sent to the correct address I finally got them so I upgraded my review it would have been higher if the coin they said they sent extra would have been included but it wasnt..

Ordered silver coins for gifts after seeing their ad in a magazine I support. Couldnt gift any as almost all had bad abrasions, rub and wear marks, looked pitiful. Called the company three times, left messages with their phone service, wont return calls. Will never order from them again.Update: I see theyre advertising again with the NRA. I never was able to get anyone to answer my calls. Finally gave up on exchanging the damaged coins they sold me. Not worth the hassle. Try money metals dot com in Idaho. A sales associate called today and was super friendly and wanted to let me know about a deal they were having. You have to respect the effort of trying to sell from a cold call. I used to have to do it for my old job. Its super tough. I let them know I was not interested at the time. He wasnt pushy, super cheerful and respectful, told me no worries and to have a great day. That goes a long way with me. Not being to pushy when selling the product. I buy from them every year at the Annual NRA Meetings. And will keep doing so. I really like buying from them. Your team is great to buy from. Last few NRA meetings I went with my dad and they treated him wonderfully. We ended up purchasing a few coins from them.

Horrible Shamy very used car sales feel. I attempted to cancel an order prior to it being shipped. First sign of the B.S. was I had to wait on hold for my broker, really? ... Im just trying to cancel an order. Well after waiting for 5-10 minutes I was hung up on. The broker called me back and told me I must have hung up. Once I spoke with the broker he told me the order already shipped. Interesting thing though, never received an email with tracking number. I can here the broker typing away on a keyboard while Im trying to cancel the order. I got angry at the shenanigans hung up on the broker the broker called my phone 7 times after I hung up on them and when I wouldnt answer tried to block his number and call. DO NOT USE the NRA is why I tried this company Im going to write them an email about this also.

I purchased two $20 gold coins 6 years ago. I needed to resell them due to medical bills. No one would speak to me about this or call me back. I paid $6000 for the two coins and ended up selling them locally for just over $2000. Not happy at all. The last time I will ever purchase gold. I am an actual consumer who has had extremely bad encounters with Universal. Before you buy from Universal, read Houston Presss article, Texas coin companies target elderly investors. Here are the reasons why I distrust all of Universals five star reviews: all were posted within the last 47 days, all are the lone reviews posted by the users, all have icon photos (over 90% of Google accounts do not), all use the same standard marketing phrases, each was posted on the accounts starting date, and all gave five stars and look like ads more than sincere reviews. But I suspect that additional rave reviews might be added -- without the above flaws -- after this review is posted. And expect Google to delete this honest review because Universal advertises on their site. I have taken screen shots of this review and will be sending it to several national media consumer reporters if it gets deleted.

During my dealings with them I have always received quality customer service and above expected levels of care.

Just discovered that my 95 year old grandfather has been buying coins from Joshua Baldwin of Universal Coin the past several years and has been defrauded out of over $500,000. He was sold gold coins that aren’t worth 50% of the actual value. I’ve contacted the Texas Attorney General.

Do NOT trust this dealer.He targets older people and tricks them into buying his inventory at high prices. My Dad was screwed over by this dealer real bad and when I looked into this dealers claims about his coins he tricked my father into buying I found he is a con. Do your research before buying any coin or bullion snd you will see this dealer is NOT TRUST WORTHY.

I was told coins would need a signature- there was no indication of such a requirement on the package delivered by the mailman- it was just put on top of the mailbox.Security breakdowns like that shouldnt happen...
