The sales associate I deal with, Miles, had proven himself very helpful and accessible when I’ve needed his support and assistance. The service personnel whom have come to my own on several occasions and very knowledgeable, friendly and expedient in their work. I’d be happy to recommend them. The only con if there is one is that appointments for service can at times be hard to come by and take several weeks before your install service can take place.
Magnolia used to be great before it merged to Best Buy location. These sale associates seem to judge you on how you dress or look. There are time when they dont bother to greet, may be I was too casual that day. Dont like the service here at all.
I had setup an appointment with this store for a custom home theater install. I was planning to buy a projector, a screen and surround speakers. The sales agent told me I had to pay $100 deposit which will be credited towards parts and labor. My card was promptly charged for $100.On the day of the appointment, nobody reported nor there was any communication. I spoke to three different people at the store including a manager Chris L. None of them had any idea what was going on with my appointment. When I asked for the refund, they told me there was no record for the transaction. After several minutes of frustrating discussions, Chris finds a second invoice for the deposit and promises to refund the deposit. Its 3 days since I spoke, no sign of my refund. Absolutely unprofessional and zero accountability!
Wow, a lot has changed in a few years. This place used to be great. We went in today looking to upgrade our stereo system and it was empty. Staff were chatting with each other. We wandered around for a few minutes and when no one offered to help we left. If Im going to spend thousands of dollars on an audio system i expect better service than this.
Just walked in to wait 15 minutes before someone acknowledged me. Once they did, they seemed apologetic not that they had made me wait, but more that they only had a projector starting at $1800 and must have thought I couldnt afford it. I never asked about price, I asked about size and quality. Bad service, dont profile people based on walking in with a t-shirt and shorts on during a 95 degree day. I guess I was dressed a little nicer the day I bought my 65 inch TV from them.
After my last experience I told myself I would never go here agian. It had been several years so I thought it would be safe. I walked in and the same sales person was there. I gave him a chance and he was arrogant and rude. Nothing had changed!!! I am done with this store.
This experience was almost as bad as it could have gone. Don’t go in on the weekend, some of the staff seems pretty autopilot and perhaps they just want to get off and relax instead of solving your media problems.Once you pay, the help stops. And if your box is missing pieces, prepare to be greeted with skepticism, bad manners, and condescension from the phones all the way to the lair of Magnolia.
Was helped by the sales associate Ian. Very respectful and helpful sales person, absolutely no pressure and helped us make the right purchase with one of their week-long black friday deals (how awesome is that, I cant stand lines). We went there to get some Martin Logans and we got almost twice the speakers for only a little more. Great deal and great service!Only downside was a very common set of speakers we bought (the black friday deal) they had zero in stock. So, they had to order them and are about one week out. A little confusing why they wouldnt have on hand inventory of their black friday deal. Not planning on selling much? Odd.
