Stepped in for an AWOL contractor and did an outstanding job. This job requires some very creative thinking around design and build. Better than expected. Good communication start to finish. Wouldn’t hesitate to use Michael again and as a referral.

Lazar did an AMAZING job on our home. We made a bunch of changes including redoing the floors, baseboards, trim throughout the entire home, stair and railing builds, lighting and painting. They were incredibly helpful, professional and did a fantastic job. We are so happy with the work that was done! Huge thank you and can’t wait to work with them again!

Ditto to what I said earlier in my first part of this review.I cannot say enough about Lazar Construction and Michael, the owner. Not only is the work top notch but Michael is very personable, courteous and has integrity. We hired Lazar for our roof and interior remodeling to make our home more accessible for our disabled son. He gave us a very reasonable quote and went out of his way to find the exact same shingles for our no longer manufactured color and style. Got the very last boxes in stock anywhere. He worked his schedule around to try to get us in so all projects flowed quickly. Extremely prompt in communication. Worked with us to help us save money by tweaking the plan and items. His workers are very polite and low-key. Set up and clean up was 100% debris free. Very professional work.They went above and beyond what they needed to do for all our projects. We never expected so much. My wheelchair bound son was gifted a very generous gift of a hardwood floor for his room so we can move all his equipment easily. We have had other contractors that quoted a price four times the norm for my sons projects when they saw we really needed accessibility, but Lazar Construction not only helped us get what we needed at a very fair price but gifted us the materials and labor for my sons room. It made us a bit nervous accepting such a generous gift...this stuff usually doesnt happen every day!Michael and Andrey are all around kind, generous people with business integrity. They never tried to jack up prices for their work or suggested costlier options. All their quotes were up front and line by line itemized clearly. We highly recommend Lazar. I have more to say but I should stop already.

Michael and his team did a beautiful job with a new set of cabinets, desk and mantle they installed. The quality of the materials and the level of precision in their work is really remarkable. Michael and his team are like one of those home remodeling shows you see on TV, you never get what you expect it is always more then your expectations exceed. They are very particular even with small adjustments and details like transitions from room to room for example which makes the end result immaculate. I also liked all the updates and suggestions along the way. Best part about it is the team pushed to get the project done just in time for the holidays!! Definitely going to hire him and his team in the future you might pay for quality material but the quality in how it’s installed, you could never put a price on that. I had a complete kitchen remodel done by Lazar Construction. Work was completed on schedule and I was very happy with the quality of the job on completion. Jobsite was kept clean and I was in always kept informed. I would highly recommend them.

We are originally from New York and just bought a house in Auburn. The house was built in the 80th and everything in it was original and needed some updates. Michael and Daniel were recommended to us by our son. We met Michael to go through all the work we wanted to have done and he was able to give us a budget on the spot. After we selected all the materials with Michaels help he gave us a fixed priced bid. We accepted the bid and went back to NY to start selling our house there and packing our belongings. We felt really safe and confident to have Michael and Daniel’s team to work at our house while we were away. During the remodel they did find some dry rot in the wall, they made us aware and proposed a solution right away. When we came back the house was done and it felt like a ribbon cutting ceremony. Michael was the contractor who, with tremendous skill and timely efforts, managed our kitchen remodel after a major water leak in our home. We initially attempted to file through our home owners insurance (HOI) on our own and were instantly discouraged. The HOI estimate was well below what we knew we needed to repair and replace everything that had been damaged and its surrounding areas. Michael came to our rescue, he worked diligently to provide pictures, explanations, recommendations, and negotiations with the adjuster for our HOI. When it came time for the revised final estimate offer from our adjuster, with Michael’s help we were able to get significantly more than the original offer.Michael is a talented and personable individual who leads well and comes with a team of extremely exceptional experts. We were able to speak and meet with his specialists for design, tile, cabinets, flooring, electrical – you name it. Michael is the guy that not only knows “the guy”. He has them on speed dial and is happy to connect you with them to get exactly what it is you are looking for in your home. He was attentive to all of our needs and attempts to contact him with any questions or concerns we had. The repairs were wonderful, were finished on schedule and were on budget.
