I really like a few smoothies from emerald city, but have not had great interactions/experiences with staff and with hours being different than posted (specifically at the Bellevue location). I have gone two times during posted business hours and the store was closed without a note or explanation. Tonight I went at 6:52 and they told me they were closing although the “Open” sign was on and the hours say they are open until 7pm - I was turned away at the door and not allowed to order. Frustrating experience

Keep closing an hour before the time it says on the website and on the door.

The staff was pretty quick to rush me with ordering.The staff hardly greeted or said hi to me, I was just another guy wearing a mask. The only conversation I heard was complaining about petty social media problems.None of the staff were wearing masks and one employee was opening food containers with her teeth. Nice food safety practice during a pandemic 👍🏼The staff asked me questions assuming I’m a regular that provides them regular business, “What’s your base?” without providing any of their optionsThe customer experience was pretty mediocre, 1/5. The smoothie was great, though, I’m a people person and I’m very keen on how people work with others

Great smoothies, people working there are super friendly, but Ive seen better ambiance in a jail. I would think with all that space theyd fill it with....something inviting. As is its just a cold, empty, nightmare.

This is the spot! I get lazy and can’t always make my weight gainers. But this place does such a good job that I don’t buy protein shakes anymore for home. I just come here! You’ll see the gains! I promise you

Everyone is friendly, good smoothies. 1 suggestion, get thicker straws! Difficult to drink any thicker smoothie.

The PB&J smoothie is always great and the staff is great. It’s awesome finally having a Emerald City Smoothie in downtown Bellevue. Definitely my favorite smoothie in the Seattle area.

This place is completely irresponsible in regards to their employees and their customers. My husband and I stopped in last week after a doctors appointment because my husband is currently unable to eat solid food. It was a mistake.The young lady behind the counter who was making the smoothies was not wearing a mask or gloves. I watched MANY people walk into their shop unmasked and there was no enforcement or encouragement of proper Covid-19 protocols. Which was not exactly something I expected given their health conscious image.When I tried to politely address the issue via phone and Emerald Citys Facebook page, I received no response. That is, until I finally left a FB review and the owner brushed me off, politely implied that I was lying about my observations.Ive included a screenshot of his response. I wont be back.

Really good smoothie! I had the berry berry and it was delicious. Bellevue has been in need of a good smoothie place and this is it!

The service is always quick and the drinks never disappoint!! Been to this location and Redmond multiple times.
