I like Giant. It is always clean they do have a wide range of brands to choose from. Its a larger store so your not so congested in the aisles. If you want to avoid crowds you can check online to see when its busy and not, I found it to be helpful and accurate. One downside is more self check than cashiers. I dont mind it so much because I usually hit the sale items.

I was shopping there its been a while I didnt know where things were. I did find everything I was looking for and a few extra than I thought would be a good addition to our menu.

New to the area. Trying to find a grocery store. There are never enough lines open. No matter how many items you have, there will be a wait. Will try somewhere else.

Dont shop here later in the day or you will have to deal with shelves not stocked and the local crack heads wandering around. I shop here often due to the fact that Aldi is my only other choice within the distance I am willing to drive. Much more choices here, the prices are a little steep but I do enjoy the reward points for purchases they offer. The Produce section is usually not very fresh... The Sushi from the Deli Area is only worth it on Wednesdays for $5 because I have litterally paid $9 for the smallest Sushi Roll I have ever seen. They are obviously cutting the roll smaller so they can make more money. But ANYWAYS its an okay store other then the Self Checkout Cashiers are judgemental and rude. If you watch your screen you wouldnt have to ask me if Im stealing. Lol.

Theres some things I can buy there that I cant find any where else. Very clean, nice employees

In the last 18 months, I have been there four times. All four times I have walked out of there with nothing! Why? Because you get 2/3 of your grocery list done and the rest of it they dont have. So now you have to go to the other side of town, and hit up Boyers where they have everything you need. And theyre a better price point. The points they give you for gas just isnt worth the hassle.

I had no problem finding what I wanted. I bought one of the 8 piece chickens from the deli and when I got home realized it only had 5 pieces in it.

Picked up prescriptions, was able to get fresh ham hocks and everything for dinner, with no issues or delays

Giant has a better variety specially the bakery but their prices are hard to except

I traveled 32 miles to shop here, cleanest store, easy to shop. Lots of good prices on many items but, some may be higher. Store clerks are friendly and helpful. I have been buying from them for over 10 years. Their cereals are as good as brand name cereal.

Giant in Berwick is by far, my favorite of all the Giant locations in the area. Clean store, friendly staff, and a great selection of products.

Of all the local grocery stores, I feel the most at ease here. Its clean and well lit. The rewards program is a plus. I can get a discount when I fill up my gas tank, from their pumps on site. Employees come and go, but most are pleasant and helpful. In this case, one bad apple doesnt spoil the bunch. Just avoid that apple.

Another great store just alittle more expensive then other places but great food nice big place to shop everything always fresh shevels always stocked

Used to love this store until all of the recent changes. People want a good selection of food at affordable costs, not automated check out services. Half of the cashiers have been replaced with self check out lines. Less human interaction is a bad thing.

I had to stop at Giant to pick up a prescription for my hubby. I REALLY miss everyone in the pharmacy!!!Due to my insurance, I had to go to CVS for my scripts.(dont like them) I dont even have to tell them at Giant who I am; they know me, and they are so nice. You have really good people there! Very knowledgeable.

Great bonus buys

I would like to thank John the manager at the Berwick Gaint. I came to the store around 8pm one night with my 3 year old son. My son was diagnosed with leukemia when he was 18 months old, he is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment. Unfortunately the steroids he has to be on makes him crave random things at random times. Wesley my son decided he wanted chocolate donuts at 8:00 pm one night as we were all about to go to bed. So him and I got in my car and off we headed to Giant. When we got to giant there were very nice customers that happen to be shopping late one Friday night, trying to help me find these specific donuts🍩. Well no one could figure out what kind he was craving. Well John the manager came and asked us if we needed any help. After explaining what we were looking for and no one else including myself could find. He went back in the back of the bakery area and returned with the exact 🍩 🍩 🍩 🍩🍩 donuts Wesley wanted. So not only did he help me fulfill his craving, he also took the liberty to pay for the donuts. So I would like to thank you John for your kindness to help us find them and your kind heart 💓 for paying for them. You put a smile on his face when we got home and he was able to have a chocolate frosted donut 🍩.

Lydia was great. Out of meatloaf and Arnolds oatnut bread. Should have that stocked.

We have been shopping at Giant for years. Never had a bad experience. They typically have everything we need and are close by.

Have always liked the store, service, prices but recently they went to mostly self checkout with only 4 checkouts(not all manned) that have clerks doing their usual thing. Berwick has a lot of older shoppers that dont use self checkout much, they want the service so my opinion of the place has dropped a bit. Just saying....

I was at giant in berwick on sunday the 15th. I had a cashier named Donna. She was the most ignorant cashier I have ever had in my life. Every question I asked she was very sarcastic and made me look like an idiot. She should not be working there if she is that rude to her customers.

Everytime I visit this store they are out of stock of multiple items on my list. I also dont like the new layout (2018). They put in a beer/wine section at the expense of limiting their variety of other products and they rearranged so items are no longer grouped sensibly. If you ask staff, they are friendly, but often not overly helpful (cant tell me where something is, not sure if its in stock, etc.). Its usually clean, and I dont have an issue waiting at check out, (though its mostly automated) but thats about all its got going for it.

Now have 10 self check out and ONLY 1 checker with a line of 5 waiting. I WILL NOT use self check......so guess I need to find another store....VERY UPSETTING

I bought a case of water while there. I am unable to lift the weight of the case. My cashier, Yvonne, was so kind to me. She came out to my car with me and put the water in my car for me. I was SO thankful to her, because this is something that I physically am unable to do due to severe arthritis. The associates in the store are usually all very helpful as well. Freddie, another employee, always has a hello and a smile whenever I see him picking up the carts from the parking lot. I love my local Giant !!

Giant is my go to food store, generally they are clean and well maintained. As with all stores you have to be careful of what you purchase as somethings are cheaper while others are more expensive. I like their butcher shop and lunch meat.
