Extremely clean basic no thrills outlet store . selection changes on regular basis so you really dont know what you might find.prices are generally below the average store and of course theres almost always a bargain on something ( check out the coffee )

The employees were very good about having three screaming children under the age of 3. And tried to help me distract them while we were getting things for my daughters wedding

Go there first! Make time to look the shelves over. There are items you find that you werent expecting! Check dates,but realize, those are required by law. That date doesnt mean the item isnt good. Buy when you see something you use. It may be gone if you wait. There is a 7 day return if you change your mind. Dont judge content by a dented box. Try this place! And someone is always there to help.

Lots of items you will never find in a local grocery chain. Prices are good on most things. Some stuff though is really too far gone to be selling, granted thats how you save money but some of it is not stomach friendly. Produce doesnt seem to last long either, have to use it up right away. Generally have a stellar deal on cases of yogurt so Ive seen. Their everything bagels are cheap and good. Huge candy selection. Great cereal, breakfast bar, granola bar selection. Great buys on canned goods and spices. Lots of fun cookie and treats items too. Great frozen food selection most of which is priced decently. Have tried 3 frozen pizzas, the first made me sick, the second was just not good (cauliflower crust - not so good minus), third had that nasty soppresata on it..... I couldnt even eat it with the meat picked off.When I first started going there they had cases of flavored seltzer water for 88 cents. I bought probably 30 cases before they eventually ran out. Wish they would get them again.

I FOUND EVERYTHING I NEEDED EXCEPT ONE ITEM, SO, I WAS HAPPY WITH THIS STORE. THE EMPLOYEES WERE VERY NICE, THE LINES WERE LONG BUT, A NICE YOUNG MAN CAME & TOLD US TO COME TO LANE ONE & HE CHECKED ME OUT RIGHT AWAY, THEN, HE CONTINUED TO HELP OTHER PEOPLE AS WELL.

They have a really nice variety of discounted items. The downside to this is the deals are so low they fly out the door and whats there today may be gone tomorrow.

I love Surplus Stores. This one is not amazing but still good deals can be had. It is very convenient as it is close to I-80.

Since my Mom lives in the area, she always mentioned this place. I live in Wilkes Barre, so if I am visiting my mom, I usually make the effort to try to go here. I love the place. They have some hard to find frozen foods, and discontinued foods. Meaning they are still good to eat, but the manufacture no longer makes it. I mean, you have to look at the dates for what you buy like any other place, some things are way passed expiration, but frozen food wise, and boxed items, I never had an issue with. My mom gets the shredded cheese here thats like a 5LB bag and its great. I always wished they had a place like this in the Wilkes Barre area, and now they finally do. Very happy the new place is like this, but a bit smaller. I do recommend the Surplus Outlet!

It was very clean . Food that I looked at was not severely thethe best by date as some of their other stores. However the prices seemed a good bit higher than the Surplus Outlet I normally shop at. They do sometimes have a better quality of products than my Surplus. I have often wondered if if it is because University students shop there and want quality and will pay for it.

They didnt have anything that I was looking for and when I did find something the price in the shelf read 10.99 but when I went to check out it was 24.99. The clerk said someone put it in the wrong place but there was at least 50 items there so the clerk said it was label wrong. I really dont understand how or why he didnt go and look at the item ir call a manager but by this time I was tired and already not happy they didnt have anything I wanted and just wanted to leave.

I didnt grab a cart because I just going to browse and maybe grab a thing or 2.I should have grabbed a cart.

I love that place. Specially for cat food. I feed a few outside cats and they usually have good brand names. They usually have beef jerky but the past few times they havent had any. But they always have Starbucks coffee.

This is one of my favorite places to shop. You never know what great bargain you will find. You have to check some dates and quality of some things but overall its very good . I save tons of money here !

This is the place to go if youre not picky about labels. I have a trunk full of groceries all for $115. the same thing at Walmart would cost three times that amount. This is a great way to cut costs when you have a big family!

I started shopping at the one in Selinsgrove. This store has a better selection. Both stores are an hour drive for me but well worth the trip. I agree many items are outdated but I have never gotten sick from anything. I have purchased chips that the oil had turned, but for 50 cents, I threw them to our chickens. I like getting my flavored coffee, it is usually 50% less than any other store.

One block from the motel, so thats convenient. Fairly inexpensive as well and has a lot to look at, with new inventory fairly often. But its one of those places you have to check all of the expiration dates. I saw food that had expired a half year ago!

My husband and I love shopping at the surplus outlet . We can buy things there cheaper then the grocery store . Especially the lunch meats they are really reasonable and the cheese and the other grocery items are very reasonable as well. We would recommend this place to people and there familys . They also, have things in bulk for everyone and different kinds of food for everyone in the family

Very nice people work there, and I am always amazed at how you can get like 4 candy bars for a dollar and lots of gluten free things for a dollar, when theyre like 4 at the grocery store. As far as most packaged things go, a few months past the best by date still tastes perfect. Like chocolate. 😍

Lots of good deals here for food. Just watch for best buy dates -- we buy stuff even close to or past those dates -- stuff is still good. However, watch the produce and choose wisely.

I happened across this place by accident and consider myself lucky. They have a huge selection of name brand products for phenomenal prices. I got 7 bags of merchandise for less than 40 bux....cant beat that with a stick...Merry Christmas to me.

Great prices for items, however I have found that some products were not just past their expiration date... they were not fit for human consumption. However, they have made many changes since then.

I get all my work snacks here, great prices. Check out the cosmetics section sometimes theres great finds!
