Ive been going here for years. Art and the whole crew are amazing. Honest, to the point and trustworthy. Ive had to spend a lot of money here because well...things with vehicles happen but Ive also saved a lot because of their honesty. They work on Subarus too!!! Honestly, I dont recall them ever not being able to fix any of my vehicles!!! I am grateful and appreciate this place. Local business love!!!

This is a great business to deal with in big rapids. They fix what needs done and dont overcharge for there work. I have had several times where I was not even charged at all for simple repairs and that is true service at its base core. Highly recommend art and his guys to anyone!!

I went in for a minor exhaust leak this week. They called me saying it had multiple leaks, and needed a whole new system that would be at LEAST $1,100. I knew there was no way I needed that many repairs. I got a second opinion from a trusted family friend mechanic and the repair was only $20! Even if I needed a new system it would be less than $300. I wanted to make sure other college students don’t get taken advantage of!! Extremely disappointed. I knew it was possible the prices would be a little higher, but that is outrageous.

Not just mufflers!! Great place to bring your vehicle for repairs of any kind, today I got my oil changed and new tires for a reasonable price. Friendly customer service and they stand behind their work.

Do NOT go here. We took it for minor maintenance and they called and said we needed this and that, so I said ok do it. The next day the car broke down because something in the motor broke! We took it back and they said well we didnt use the pressure hose because we knew it would break that specific piece.... And now want over 400 dollars to replace it! Spend a little more and go somewhere else. Now I am second guessing if we even needed the extra things they charged me for! I will NEVER use them or recommend them again!

Really satisfied with the service. I made an appointment 5 days in advance, came in on time and Art drove it right in. He Informed me about my 2wd y-pipe being on my 4x4 truck. I didnt know about that! Explains why I bought it with no front driveshaft and the exhaust is in the way. But Art fixed my exhaust leak and told me where he was going to do the repair.

They are friendly and very trustworthy. I have had wheel bearing and mufflers and tired fixed by them.

I called them at 3:30 on Saturday,dropped my pick up off 7:30 Monday morning. At 2:30 p.m. I had new rear brakes, a front hub bearing replaced and a performance muffler installed at a fair price. Great service.

We were traveling with a stop in Big Rapids and woke up to a flat tire. With recommendations from others we took our car to Muffler Man where the tire was quickly assessed and it was a simple valve stem. Art got us in and out and in our way. Many thanks.

We,my son and I were in a real bind. Up from the Kalamazoo area deer hunting and camping in the Haymarsh State Game Area. The alternator in my sons vehicle starts to make a bad noise. Of course its Saturday, most repair shops are closed or shortened hours. We need to break camp and head home. I called a number of shops to no avail. One shop suggested Muffler Man, so I called and told them my plight. He said he could do it that day! I cant thank them enough for the great job. Not only did they find the alternator was bad, the idler pulley was bad also. All done by 1:00 Wow. Thanks again for the great job. Above and beyond the call.

Laughable prices.Oil changes are reasonably priced, but Wal-Mart Tire Center even does a better job than this shop. Ive had my oil changed here a few times to give them a chance since the location is convenient for me, but still unimpressed.It seems as though other people have had good experiences here, but I would not recommend this place.

Our car started making bad noises while taking a trip up north. I googled auto repair shops open on Saturdays and found this muffler man a bit off the highway. Art was happy to squeeze us in despite a full lot of cars ready for repairs. Despite that he stopped what he was doing to take our car for a ride to figure out what was wrong. Turns out our lugnuts were all loose on two different tires and the front wheel was close to falling off. He tightened everything up and then refused to take any payment and wished us safe travels. Thank you Art for making our day and keeping us alive.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Lied to me multiple times about when my car will be ready. Manager Art said it would be maximum 4 days, its been 2 weeks and I still havent gotten my car back! I work and have important things to do, I need my car. Will update when I get my car back, probably lied and said they knew how to do the work but actually dont. I cant tell if its because I am a woman or black, but they are very disrespectful, might have to look into legal action.

Art knows his stuff. I wont take my car anywhere else for an oil change. The only thing that I have negative to say is on a Saturday they are busy and its hard to just come in as a walk in. (But that is a good thing for them)
