No, I dont want to reach out via email about my experience.... Please dont respond with that generic response I have seen previously from your company.I came in here hoping it would be like the Parkland location, BUT I was sadly mistaken! They have specials that show on the counter but when I ordered one, she informed me they dont have the ingredients to make them....ummm.....why not just take the little hand written sign off the counter if you cant make the drinks?Ok, so Ill just have a cappuccino (HOT) please. I let them know I would like a medium size and then I waited. Took a couple minutes so that was not as issue. The two girls working seemed to be pleasant, again not the issue.Grab my drink and walk outside to take a sip and my cappuccino is Luke warm at best. I dont even want to drink it. The cappuccino taste like there is not even a full espresso shot and take like just warm milk. What a disappointment. Lesson learned, Ill keep my $6 for if I am in Parkland next time.I took my coffee back and left it on the counter... It was that bad! No, I dont want anything else or anything for free..... Maybe better training for the barista and staff!Thanks for my freshly brewed cup of disappointment... Happy hump day!

Great food great coffee great place to study. Most coffee shops dont understand the need for comfortable seating for those of us that enjoy sitting and studying or working at coffee shops and enjoy multiple drinks in a day. My only complaint is that every time I go theres a lot of flies. Other then that I love Carmela coffee for the vibe the food and the drinks.

The avocado was black and rotten and the cheese and the ham smells really bad. If I will eat that I probably get a food poisoning. same for the chicken of the empanadas. We waited 2 hours for this food. Probably it was sitting outsider for 2 hours!!The manager should know how important it food safety and if order waiting for so long they should take care of that.I tried the tomato and literally puked right away!! Shame on you!

Came here for brunch: the avocado toast and coffee were great. The cafe was spacious, clean, and well decorated and the baristas were all very helpful and kind.

What we all need to get going: a decent cup of coffee in a nice atmosphere. Most coffee shops around here are nice but too small. Not this one though — you can spread out and relax here in style. Next time, try the oatmilk vanilla cinnamon latte, my new favorite.

I liked this place, tastefully decorated.But if you like to eat a good panini, have a good tea or coffee, I can recommend this coffee shop.I had a pretty delicious bacon and Brie Panini, with caramelized onion, it was very very good on the rustic bread.The Cortadito was ok, I had much better before some other place, and this one when was served, it was all over on my plate, but that’s ok, they still deserve 5 stars.If you’re in the area, try it for sure. The green tea was super refreshing.

One of the best coffee shops in town! Coffee is great but the food is truly amazing. Artisan bread and high quality ingredients. Have not had a bad meal yet and food actually looks like the pictures. Great presentation and made with love. Give them a try ASAP.

The coffee shop is lovely and cozy, with nice decor, allowing you to have a break and simply enjoy your cup of coffee. They have a great selection of food, especially variety of avocado toast is impressed. The staff are super nice and very helpful. It is easy to find parking nearby.

The food is delicious but on more than one occasion I have been sent the wrong order. I order for delivery and I paid extra for certain food items and didnt receive it. When I call to let the store know, they blame it on the delivery driver but theyre the ones who package and seal the food. The delivery driver doesnt open the order at all. Unprofessional!!

Awesome local coffee place in Boca. Iced coffee was complex and balanced. Food options were a little too foofy for what I was a looking for, but I got an almond croissant and it was heavenly. Also, service was excellent. I was greeted immediately and the staff were friendly. Clearly a well-run establishment, and definitely worth going out of your way to visit.

Beautiful cafe and great atmosphere. I gave it 4-stars because the coffee was amazing, but the food was alright. The empanadas aren’t traditional and are okay, so I don’t think I’d recommend those. The avocado breakfast toast was tasty, but I think I received an older batch of avocado. I’d go again though and just order different food, because the place was still great!!!

The food is really good. The coffee is good. The staff is very nice and friendly. The place is very cozy and has plenty of space to sit and chat with friends or setup a computer for a study session. There are plenty of electrical outlets around to plug in any device. Free WiFi is also available. It has a clean restroom.

Love this local coffee shop! Come here multiple times per week when in town, the staff is always friendly and they will get to know you if local. Wish the hours were longer some days, but they are always busy with lots of friendly coffee lovers.

I just discovered this place recently. It’s so nice inside with a very cozy atmosphere. The people are very friendly and more importantly the coffee is excellent without that burnt after taste some places have. Also, check out their food menu with all kinds of interesting things. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Carmela bakery, I ordered two butter croissants and two almond croissants to go. When I got home and opened the bag, the four croissants were completely burned. Not a piece could be saved or eaten. Wasted money, they said they were fresh and instead got something inedible.

I ordered a cappuccino along with spinach flatbread and she made the cappuccino first and then the flatbread and both were served together. So the cappuccino was on the colder side. Probably not the fault of the ONLY barista/cashier/cook/cleaner trying it do it all by herself.The flatbread was rushed and was so soft and gooey. The cappuccino was over extracted and bitter.This is me trying 3rd location for Carmela coffee and I notice this trend with them everywhere. I know coffee and I know how to pull decent espresso shot because I love quality coffee. I asked the barista about the Slayer espresso machine they got and she did not know much about it. That is when I knew that the coffee drink would not be properly dialed in and I was correct. I believe the management dont train their barista properly on how to make quality drink. They expanded to 4 shops too fast and they are surviving because people are forgiving or they dont mind less than mediocre coffee.

This is one of, if not my favorite coffee shop in the area but mannn their understaffing tendencies kill me.15minutes to get a brew coffee because the barista is run off her feet trying to do all of the orders and make the coffee on her own. It won’t stop me coming because I love the vibe and the coffee is good but it’s painful to see people waiting for so long for their stuff and sometimes watching people walk out.

Had heard different things about Carmela Coffee so I decided to check it out. Gave it 2 stars instead of 0 because Avocado toast was good, but nothing out of this world. Ordered the cappuccino, it was ok, but again, nothing out of this word. What made me upset was the level of service... there were other guests seated at different tables and the servers took their food to all guests at the table. When my food was ready, they had me go to the counter to pick up the food, being that I was seated at a table like everyone else was. Don’t think I will be returning.

GREAT coffee. The food is a huge improvement from the coffee shop that was here before. The rustic bread avocado toast deserves a breakfast award. If you, like me, were looking for R1 coffee you will not be disappointed by Carmela.

Cute little shop, nice addition to the area. The coffee is direct trade from Costa Rica and it’s delicious. They also sell avocado toasts, paninis, salads and muffins, pastries, etc. the decoration is nice and the service is top notch!

Wow! I just had the best coffee and food here. I had the burrata & prosciutto avocado toast. It was amazing. The caramel macchiato was also perfectly flavored. I will 100% be back.
