I purchased a Chevy Impala premier on 9/14/2019 OTD (out the door) price $22377.87 Including an $1200 extended warranty. I drove the car for 2 years. And I just sold it to carvana for $23721.00 So this is only the Facts!!! I drove the car for 2 years and sold it for over $1,000 more than I paid for it. Called them about a very specific car that I’ve been looking for, for months and there is only one available in the whole state. The site had stated that it was at this location. They tried to explain that the car was in the process of being “certified” and wasn’t actually on their lot yet. Which makes no sense to me. Don’t put pictures and a price up if it’s not immediately available. Side note: Go back to the site a couple of days ago and the price went up around 1,000 dollars which I would have mentioned given the chance to look at it. (It also made me think that the price was updated because it was officially available.) Anyway, they took my husbands name and number and they stated not a soul has called about that car and rest assured we would be the very FIRST person they called. Go to the site tonight while asking my husband to call for an update in the morning to realize that the car was no longer listed and most likely had been sold. That is completely unprofessional and down right scummy. Please do not go with this location. Previous reviews only prove my point further. What a joke and waste of time...

Its a Hussle, plain and simple. Theres a presence of a bunch of slick young guys running around, but its not customer focused, and theres no leadership. All the guys appear to be on the same level and they cover for each others mistakes. Thats the extent of their integrity. I was buying a small Pickup for my Son whos in the Marine Corps Stationed in Pensacola. I phoned-in and talked to Frank around 11:00 am to confirm the availability of the truck because I had a long ride to do the test drive. After making the 64 mile round trip that same day, I was told in less than two minutes after walking into the showroom that Frank was busy, and my truck was no longer available because something was wrong with the bumper. Rather than checking the inventory and phoning me with the discrepancy, Frank just moved on the next customer, not bothering to check the inventory status for a customer taking the trip to see him. There was no remorse, and no attempt to try and make a customer out of me. These guys are CAR SALESMAN for crying out loud! I have cash, I could have bought something if I was shown a little skill and compassion.

Not exactly the best experience. We did buy a car which we do love but unfortunately the car wasn’t serviced before leaving the lot. Tires extremely off balance, needed an oil change nothing was done. We wouldn’t have known because every time we asked a question our salesman had an attitude. He seemed bothered by our questions. We went to dinner and came back to pick up our car to find that Chuck had actually left to go home. Thankfully Ed(the finance guy) was so helpful. He did everything for us with a smile. So thank you Ed!

The most pleasant experience I have ever had at a dealership..this is not your ordinary dealership that is for sure. Everyone is so great there, all helping each other out when needed as well as being courteous to the customers. These people went beyond my expectations and made this a great experience. I highly recommend coming to this place if you are looking to get a car/truck. The inventory is in wonderful shape. The car I bought is like brand new. Cars listed on Hertz site - with pictures and all... but cars not actually there and they dont even know anything about those.. nor when they will be available.. Sales staff sounded surprised when I asked about them.. gave that bad runaround how they may be in the shop getting oil change.. and they have no idea when they will be available.. And to make it worse, its not even one but two (that we were interested in).. Very poor experience. Why list (again, with actual photos) if cars are not actually for sale??? Waste of my time..

Absolutely worst sales experience I’ve ever had. There were issues every step of the way during the process.

I understand many of the comments in previous posts. Both good and bad. Yes, it is a wonderful low pressure environment. Prices are considerably below all the book values. We did not finance and it did take several hours to complete the paperwork. Now here is the problem. The morning after I picked up the car we were going over it in the driveway, you know how it is with a new car, and everywhere I touched the finish was a bit rough. Turns out the whole car is covered in overspray and there are signs that the back of the car was repaired/repainted. Salesman says its just road grime. Now I have to pay to have it gone over with a clay bar and waxed. Bottom line, these cars were rentals for two years. Hertz is big enough and clever enough to make most cars presentable for sale. Take you time and really go over the car you are looking at with the proverbial fine toothed comb AND a magnifying glass.

From the moment I went to their website, to the moment Carlos handed me my keys, I felt taken care of. I am in sales and their no pressure, they just want you to make the best choice for you, attitude is the same way I operate and it was very much appreciated! Carlos answered all of my questions and also offered a referral for car insurance that saved me $120 a month, which made it possible for me to get my new car!

By far the best experience I have ever had purchasing a used car. My salesman Louis was very patient with my many questions, very knowledge about the particular car. No pressure sales tactics was another positive. I would highly recommend these folks, especially if you are a female senior citizen!

Overall, I had a positive experience here. Im happy with my purchase and my salesperson, Luis, was tremendous and really went above and beyond. Taking a star off from an otherwise 5-star experience due to the finance guy being a bit pushy toward the end. Take your time and dont be afraid to push back when something doesnt look right in your contract.

My adult daughter and I walked in for her to see, test drive and hopefully purchase a SUV from Hertz today. She was welcomed and told someone would be with her in 10 min. 25 minutes later no on spoke to either of us. However several couples walked in after us and were greeted and began working with a salesman. We finally left and it is unlikely we would return. Bad customer service.

I have rented cars on several occasions from Hertz in Estero. The employees have been very courteous and quick. The cost of renting at this local facility is without question a good value. I have also purchased a previous Hertz rental here. The car was in good condition and below book value. I highly recommend the Estero Hertz location for a rental or the purchase of one of their previously owned vehicles.

I just want to post what a great experience that I had here working with Chuck.we bought a car under my wifes name, she couldnt make it down to go with me to pick it up so they had all the paperwork sent up to her office here in North Carolina and she signed it and sent it back so would be there when I got there. I walked in, Chuck had the car already and washed, we took it for a test drive, he gave me the key and my copy of the paperwork, and that was it. One of the easiest automobile transactions I have ever done. This is the third Hertz car that I bought, first one from here, and all three have been easy and stressless. I highly recommend them if you need to purchase a car.

We just purchased a car from Eduardo and couldnt be happier. We were on a very strict budget and there was no pushy-ness whatsoever. I was nervous that wed be pressured into a more expensive vehicle, but Eduardo never pushed anything on us, just made sure we got what we needed as professionally and promptly as possible. It made the purchase process very easy and transparent. I dont know if Ive ever heard anyone associate buying a car with being easy and transparent, but thanks to Eduardo, it was. He responds to communication quickly and is very knowledgeable. We cant thank him enough for our new wheels (and speaking of the wheels--Hertz stock is wonderful). WE were supposed to test drive a car in their rent to buy program. Scheduled for Saturday 05/23. Been getting a run around ever since. Have called everyday, put on hold for more than 45 minutes each time only to be told they dont have the car yet. It is supposed to be in Ft. Myers. The test drive is supposed to be at the Estero location. They are not that far apart. What is the problem? We cant seem to get any answers. We keep being told they will call us when the car is there. Why do you treat potential customers this way? Is it because of filing for bankruptcy? Need answers please. We cant keep scheduling to be off work to pick up the car only to find out that it is not available at the times scheduled. Whats going on?

Great deals at Hertz! Really enjoyed working with Jorge and Ed to find the right car for my family. They spent a lot of time getting our car ready, with waxing/buffing out scratches and fixing some dings. Excellent value, great service, highly recommend them, and will go back to them again.

I absolutely love using Hertz 4 buying a used car. Two of my daughters are done so in the last several months and theyre both really happy with their cars. We did a lot of research online before we bought the car and Hertz had the best prices by a long shot. They stand by their cars, and theyre all late model with somewhat decent mileage.

Be Cautious and use due DILIGENCE!Within a month after purchase, I had to pay for a COMPLETE brake job $600.00 And 4 newTires $1100.00.The salesman LUIS is an idiot and lied to us.And the service plan is a joke, it basically is just pre-paid over priced oil changes.At first, we felt we had received a good deal,But in hindsight, we should have bought elsewhere!

The staff was easy to work with and friendly. no high pressure, no back and forth. buying a rental is like a tent sale at an open box scratch and dent sale.most cars a fairly clean but if your can live with a door ding or bumper scuff you can save a good amount.my only disappointment was a car that went through inspection and was sold with rear tires showing 2/32nds tread and both air and cabin filters were not changed.being in the repair business these were easy fixes for me,but its wise to have a few hundred dollars in the budget for odds and ends like spare keys and floor mats.

So far my experience with them has been great. We bought a new car after test driving 2. Their prices are great, compared to some of the other local dealerships. The same car we bought was selling for 6k more and had less miles. I loved that we had the chance to do the 3 day test drives which gave us the ability to have it inspected by a mechanic. They provide a 1yr free warranty with purchase. Chuck was amazing to deal with. Very attentive and patient with us, and answered all our questions and then some. If this car last through the payments i will definitly be purchasing again from them.

I owned my car for a month and half and I have a check engine sign for emissions which of course arent covered. Just makes me wish I would have bought a car that had really been checked over. I mean low oil from a car that should have just had the oil changed.

The best place in town to buy a car . No high pressure sales honest down to earth people . Got us in and out in an hour and a half for $1000 dollar less then we expected to put down payment lower then we expected by $150 a month with a bumper to bumper warranty gap coverage and oil change and tire rotation . We will buy from them again .

Unprofessional staff and not knowledgeable about the cars that they sell. Certified also does not mean Certified pre-owned with the manufacturer, rather Certified by Hertz for 12 months 12k miles, which would not matter on any vehicle on their lot. Further, employees were standing around smoking by the entry doors while others were eating in the lobby. Save your time and buy online.

This was my 5th dealership I visited before purchasing a car. Their dealer fee was the lowest, they didn’t have any mystery “reconditioning fees” added on either. My salesman was Ralddy. A very nice easy going guy who didn’t even once try to sell me anything over what I was looking for. Their selection is not that great, BUT my car was easily 4K underpriced. And with less fees, I walked out of there with a very good deal. Yes the cars may have scuff marks (I bought an SUV so the tail gate had a few from most likely luggage bags)This was not a deterrent for me, because I know the engine would have been religiously serviced. Unlike other used trades where you have no idea how often it was serviced. I highly recommend Hertz; I actually was surprised they weren’t busier.

I had a great experience at Hertz car sales! I purchased a certified used 2016 Nissan Sentra and love it! The sales people are so nice and accommodating without being one bit salesy or pushy. They worked hard to finish the process so that I could be done right on time for work. They truly understand the best way to buy a car and I would never want to go anywhere else. I’ve regretably bought two cars from this location . Each time the process took more than 7 hours. I paid for the second purchase in full expecting that would shorten the process. It did not. While I was looking I called 3 times asking about different cars and never got a call back. Horrible experience. I should’ve known better. Save your time and money .

Friendly sales people. Limited on site selection. Cars do have dings and scratches from rental use. Base model cars at a decent price compared to regular dealers.

TYPICAL TERRIBLE SLEAZY dealership ...They will tell you what you want to hear from them when it comes to making a sale but do not hold to their end of the deal and do not care about your business once they got your money.I bought a car back in July and purchased their maintenance package. They told me I should receive the booklet for oil changes etc in the mail. Its now November and my car is due for an oil change and I havent received or heard anything from them. So I stopped by at the dealership on 11/11/17 to see what was the hold up. They said they couldnt do anything about it that day and just took my name and told me the manager will call me on Monday. The first red flag I should of noticed is when the person that took my info could care less on hearing me out and just kept saying that the manager will get in touch with me when I was trying to explain myself. I was not looking for a petty party, but he could of been more personable.So the day arrives that Im supposed to hear from the manager, lo and behold, I dont hear anything from them. I call them on my break which is at 3:30 P.M. I tell the manager about my situation and all he does, Mark is his name, starts firing excuses about how he just got the message at 10 A.M. and then that he contacted the people that handle the maintenance package and havent heard from them. Which is understandable BUT Mark had the nerve to say that, What do you want me to do, call you and tell you that? In my head Im thinking yes the professional thing to do in a situation like this would be to fill the customer in on whatever the concern is. I tell him that would be the right thing to do so you dont make me, the customer, feel like youre ignoring or blowing the customer off. Then he tells me that he will call them and get back to me. Not even minutes later, he was able to comfirm that I did buy a maintenance package (probably because for some reason he thought I was lying or they never ordered it when I first bought it back in July) and that it would be sent to my home in TWO TO FOUR WEEKS! Lets do the math, he came across the note about my problem at 10 AM, between then and when I call them at 3:30 PM he tells me he had not heard anything so did not feel the need to call me to say that hes waiting on a response but was able to find out within minutes after I called him. Something doesnt add up and it sounds like they have no accountability whatsoever.I could of caused a scene the Saturday I went in to ask them at the dealership and I could of gave Mark a hard time when I had to call them after being told that he would be calling me but I didnt. Mark was very defensive right off the bat when I told him my problem so Im sure they get a lot of disgruntled customers on the regular. I just wanted to know what was the delay. That was the worse experience Ive ever been through not only with their customer service but their management as well. The funny thing is, the Saturday I went in, the person that handles their financing and warranties sold me the maintenance package. I tried to flag him down to talk to him but he kept on walking like he knew I had a problem and he was the one that told me, We operate like a family business, not like the other dealerships. I will never do business with them again, will tell anyone that will listen not to give them their business, and go to a real dealership. BUYERS BEWARE!

Worst place ever! Do not rent a car from Hertz!

Everyone was great except for the finance manager, total douchebag. He should not be allowed to talk to any customer in the world. He was the rudest guy I have ever dealt with on any business level. The salesperson was sweet as could be, they wouldn’t give me the keys to my care until I raised my voice. I spent three hours there without one piece of paperwork with numbers and he demanded $3500 down payment. I have excellent credit, don’t want to throw the race card in it but why not, left there within 45 minutes I’m at Galeana buying the same car but nicer and the made my negative equity work. I feel like they should give me a free rental car for the hassle, and I’m not talking about a Kia Forte either.

Just bought a 2015 Nissan Sentra SV from Hertz. I cant be more happy with the experience we had. Salesman Chuck was extremely patient with us after test driving 3 cars i finally drove off in my Sentra. Check them out if you need a newer car, i paid under $10k for this car and i cant be more happy.
