Edited- 6/23/2021Under new management, we received phone call from Larry Mayo the day after posting the review below (6/2/2021). To say they went above and beyond to fix the below issues, is an understatement. We could not be happier with how it was handled. It’s refreshing to know that there are companies, nowadays, that truly DO care about making their customers happy. Thank you to the “new” management team at Bayou Outdoor, for correcting the many issues we had previously. (We will NOW consider buying life jackets and fuses from them 😊)Original post- 6/1/2021Bought our boat June 28th 2020. Had the boat until august 14th took it in for warranty work and 20 hr check up. We didn’t get out boat back until March 2021. We took the boat to the lake on Sunday and the boat would not start. Yes we charged the batteries. Called customer service today and they said they could only warranty the batteries if we brought the boat to them and it would 2-3 weeks before they could look at batteries. Do not buy a boat, life jacket or a fuse from this place.

Bought a boat July 3, 2020. On March 13, 2021 while fishing my Livewell pump would not work along with all my lights. Called and spoke with Joe Gates he told me to bring boat in and they would get right on it. The person in the Service Department told me they would get right on it. Went in Store to purchase a few things. My Salesman saw me in there and asked how I was doing and about my boat. I told him that I had just brought it in because of the problems. He told me he would keep on the Service Department to get it fixed. This was on a Saturday by Thursday I hadn’t heard anything from them so I called at 1:30 to ask. The lady that answered phone told me to leave my phone number and the Service Department would get back with me. By 3 pm nobody had called so I called and had to leave message again. At 4 pm I called back to see what was going on with my boat and spoke with Joe he said that he would go check. At 4:45 the lady in Service Department called and told me that my boat hadn’t even been looked at. So much for the getting right on it which is what I was told by three people. So Friday I got a call and was told that the Touchscreen on the boat was bad and they would have to order it. So by Wednesday I hadn’t heard anything so I called back to be told the touchscreen wasn’t the problem. The main brain was bad and they had to order it. They finally called and told me my Boat was ready so I picked it up on Saturday two weeks ago today. I asked for a copy of what was done on my boat for my records. The lady told me the Tech hadn’t finished the paperwork yet and she would have him finish it and send me a copy. So here it is two weeks later and I haven’t received a copy yet. They are in East Bossier City and I live in West Shreveport. If this is the way they treat their customers it pretty Piss Poor Customer Service in my book

They had the boat we purchased there for two months for repairs and did not even look at it. We called several times to get the run around. Picking the boat up was a fiasco as well with rude customer service. Don’t walk- run!

They are obviously a boat dealer but that is not why I frequent the shop. I am there getting some awesome fishing lures. They carry a lot of brands that Bass pro doesnt such as reaction Innovations. They have a lot for such a small shop. For bass fishermen its definitely a spot to check out.

Only place to buy your new rv or camper.. Matt and Paul know the true meaning of customer service. On top that they have a super knowledgeable parts guy, any questions you have he will have the answers! Let’s not forget to mention the red carpet delivery! Save your time and money. These crooks sold me a lemon (motocoach), they had to have known of all the problems. Been in their service center 2 months, and when I call they act like they don’t know what I’m talking about. Zero integrity.

Service department is very unprofessional and makes you feel like you are a burden to them for bringing in your boat. A simple change of attitude towards customers would help.

Awful experience called to buy a pontoon they said nothing they could do for me. And that was it. 😂 They didn’t even try to sell me a boat. Did the application and 2 hours later I called them back they said it was nothing they can do I said why. And no manager called me no other sales person tried to talk to me about anything or or do anything to sell me a boat. I Won’t ever call or do business there I tell everyone to stay away from here if they canSo I called Gregg Orr marine Texarkana they had me approved the same day did everything over the phone and they delivered it to my house the next morning

Service dept is HORRIBLE, and take forever!!! Service manager is rude and disrespectful. Highly recommend to go somewhere else for service needs or electronic instillation.

My family is looking to buy a wake boat. We came in with full intentions of starting that process today. After 20 minutes without anyone making contact we left. Completely took the wind out of our sails.

I would stay away for a new or used boat purchase. I went in to buy a new boat that was posted on their website. The salesmen then tried to sell me the boat for $4000 higher than the price listed on their website for the exact boat. He told me that was his bottom dollar price. He did not know that I had already researched the boat. That tells you all you need to know about the integrity (or lack thereof) of this sales team. Needless to say, I took all of my business to H and W marine, and could not be happier.

Bayou Outdoors Super Center is a Wonderful place to buy a New or Used Travel Trailer or Boat.. They treat you like family..From the salesmen to the finance dept. We were made feel like our choices were just that Our Choices..The service department was fantastic also.cant say enough good things about BAYOU OUTDOORS ! CHECK THEM OUT FOR YOURSELF!

Wont go back !I went in to get some fishing equipment. I was highly disappointed in the selection.

Super nice and friendly lady that checked me in with my boat. Had several things to check out on my boat for warranty issues. Batteries would get sluggish after an hour of use, told me my fuse wasnt clicked all the way, next time i took it out same thing, checked all connections and was fine. Seems they didnt want to cover the battery for me. Had issues with other itema as well this one was my biggest. Very disappointed!!

Called about warranty work for minn kota and was told they would do it. Turns out they dont do any work on minn kota or motorguide. They send it out and charge a delivery fee which is not disclosed upfront. Upon getting my talon back it still didnt work and I called to get my money back and was told that it was my responsibility to take it up with their subcontractor. I had no contact with their subcontractor thats their responsibility. He cant refund my credit card charge since I didnt pay him. I paid bayou outdoors. If you need any work done I recommend finding someone else. There are plenty of other places to choose from. Also it looks like my talon was drug across a concrete floor. Came back with large scratches and paint missing everywhere.
