Worst customer service!!!! Never shop at a place with a no refund policy! Lost $$$$ buying worthless items from here. Plenty of mattress and furniture stores in the area to shop from that have good quality selection and they care about their customers. City Mattress is a greedy company that doesn’t care about people.

After reading all the great reviews, my husband and I went to City Mattress in Boynton Beach on 05/17/2021 to look for a new king size mattress and a bed. Our salesperson, April was very patient letting us try out various mattresses to suit our needs. We chose a Beautyrest Black Plush, we also bought a King sized bed. That particular bed required a Bunkie board support. So we purchased these items which were delivered within a few days. The delivery set/up men were excellent, however the bed had two drawers on the bottom, and the left one was defective, could not open or close it. Delivery guys reported it to store and a few days later another bed was delivered and set up. SAME PROBLEM, left drawer would not work.We then went back to the store to speak to April and hopefully find a new bed. We ended up buying a very expensive bed, and were assured by April the bunkie board was the correct support for the mattress on that bed. It was not! The mattress sunk so deep into the bed frame it was impossible to put sheets on. Then a low-profile support was delivered, that also was not high enough for the mattress to make the bed.I spoke to April by phone saying we needed a normal sized box spring type mattress. She actually had the nerve to tell me that she felt it was only fair if we split the price difference, are you kidding me after spending all this money on a bed that was unusable to us, and 5 deliveries later???I asked to speak to her manager and then her response was fine, Ill pay it! and she hung up on me. Totally unprofessional!The whole process took weeks until the bed and mattress was usable, thats unacceptable!SHE is supposed to be a trained salesperson, if you sell beds then you should know the correct support system for the mattress.Horrible experience and never even got a follow up phone call after all this.Shop somewhere else!

PLEASE do not purchase anything from here, especially furniture. We purchased furniture from here for about $5k and it started falling apart immediately. City Mattress told us there is a no refund policy. The furniture was replaced but even the replacement furniture is falling apart in less than 1 month. Pathetic! Please do your research on this company before purchasing. Just a bunch of scammers selling cheap furniture made in China and Vietnam.

We went looking for a mattress for our bed and fortunatelywe went to City Mattress, Boynton Beach store. We met Kelly Thompson, our sales rep who was very polite and informative as well as 19 years of experience in this business.She showed us a variety of mattresses and explained the difference between each mattress and then asked us to lie down on several so we could feel our comfort. We chose a mattress after lying on several and we felt it was what we were looking for, without pressure from Kelly.We would definitely recommend this location for your shopping and ask for Kelly. She is truly an asset to this company. The delivery and set up process went like clockwork as the two gentlemen assembled the bed and made sure that we were happy. The salesperson, Theresa, was very helpful and knowledgeable about your products. I had had a horrible experience, over 5 month trying to get a headboard made correctly and was not very trusting. She was understanding. she gave me a yardstick to measure some things at home and I returned the next day and ordered a metal bed with the hope that no damage will be done to it. Hoping my experience with city Mattress will be a very successful one.

I bought a Beautyrest mattress here. There is nothing like getting to try out the mattress before you buy. Some companies are unsurprisingly deceptive in there claims of comfort. I considered buying it online before I went in but they were able to knock off so much from the asking price that it didnt make sense anymore. Especially with free next day delivery. Amazon cant do that.

I have been sleeping on the most uncomfortable mattresses for almost 2 1/2 years. I went mattress shopping to City Mattress in Boynton Beach on a recommendation of a family member. I was told to see John Cloutman who was easy going and very informative, I found out that you get what you pay for. I purchased a Prana mattress and all I can say is WOW, Im sure that after you lay on one of those babies you will be a believer too. Mattresses is there business and they can answer any questions you have about mattresses. You sleep a third of your life on a mattress, dont cheat yourself, treat yourself. Loved my experience at City.Joseph Rossi could not have been more personable without being pushy. I really felt a connection with him. He was very knowledgeable on the different types of beds and really listened to what my needs were before making any suggestions. I had been to the other showrooms in Boynton and although the prices were the same City felt more upscale, clean, and personable.

What a pleasant experience buying a mattress here. I went in and met Roberto and priced a few mattresses for my guest room. He was so low pressure and nice to work with. I told him id be back as it was the first place I shopped. I went to several other stores on the same strip in Boynton Beach and wasnt as impressed by the people, they didnt strike me as genuine as Roberto. I went back to City Mattress and placed my order for the beds. Roberto was super patient and asked great questions. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to buy a new mattress.

Please don’t buy from these people. When I originally posted my review they said I must have been mistaken about the store even though I worked in the same plaza. I was told when I purchased the mattress that I needed to keep a tag that was on the mattress at the time in case I could not find my receipt. They even posted according to them they found only 2 people they sold a mattress to with my initials. When I spoke to the manager he flat out told me that it was the wrong chain. I ended up getting rid of the mattress because at the time I couldn’t find a receipt. Please ask for the receipt now. Just found it! These people are con artists and do what they can to make sure they aren’t liable for anything if you have a problem with their mattress. Please don’t bother with “mom and pop stores.” I ended up purchasing an adjustable bed for about 50 bucks more from Rooms Today. Buyer beware..

The Boynton Beach store is spacious and attractive. We were given loads of information and had numerous mattresses to choose from. Our salesperson, Barbara, was extremely helpful without being aggressive, and gave us all the time we needed to make an informed decision.

Great experience! Wife & I bought a $2,000+ dollar king mattress for a guest room in our home in Delray Beach. Joe the sales associate was very knowledgeable & professional. Bought on a Saturday & delivered fist thing on Monday. Delivery crew installed everything & exceeded expectations. Earlier in the year we bought a mattress set for our master bedroom from Mattress Firm which was also a good experience. I found Mattress City store & experience In my opinion a cut above! :-)

John was professional, knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. My husband has a bad back so we purchased the Adapt-Med-Qm, Temp. We waited a few months to be sure that the choice was the right one. In the past, we have been through 3 or 4 mattresses, and each one was as bad or worse than the previous. The Adapt-Med-Qm, Temp is the best, comfortable and allows us to get a good night sleep.
