Arrived 20 minutes before they closed, just to pickup contacts. Looks like they like to close early.Edit: cant even get in touch with them via their website, phone, OR email to make a payment. Absolutely terrible.

My wife was looking for a new prescription and since this place was close, she thought it could work. Our insurance has a $5 copay for an exam but according to this place it didnt cover a contact exam. The total out of pocket was $113..... for an exam, with insurance.... the doctor was rude, didnt answer my wifes questions and didnt give her an eye prescription that even works... her sight is still fuzzy with new contacts. I would not recommend this place.

Dr Dale is very nice, professional, efficient and funny!!! Very personable!Front desk ladies very nice in checking me in and helping me pick glasses and pay.Nice experience all around!!!

Just called for some assistance and the woman who answered the phone was so nasty and rude. Cut me off and hung up on me before I could even finish my inquiry. I see why the reviews are so bad. The customer service is trash.

This office has the worst customer service. Jane is okay! However, you cant just deal with her, the other woman there is obnoxious to deal with! She is unprofessional, and repetitively so. She is the sole reason I will go somewhere else to be seen from here on out. Dr. Dale is great, but the front office is weak.✌

Dr. Dale and his staff are all excellent at customer service. I have seen many optometrists before, but he is one of the best. Very thorough and takes the time to explain what my exam is showing. GREAT CLINIC!!!

Never got a good fit, theyre crooked. Another time tried to replace the lenses in my glasses while they were on the phone, broke the gold frames. Multitasking talking to her kid. Should have heated the frames first..Just reached over and bent them and they cracked. Told me itd take 2 weeks for the replaced frames. Its been 3 months now and still they have not received the replace frames...Who knows? They didnt even setup an appointment before all this! oh I must have forgot to click the button.. BUT WE CAN SEE YOU cause we are not busy. I dont need new glasses! I just wanted them adjusted..Just want my money back and they can cram it.

Terrible customer service. I moved out of the area after ordering glasses with the promise they would be shipped. They charged me 10$ for shipping, with no tracking whatsoever. Then I was told theyd be shipped out on Wednesday, imagine my surprise when I was told they were actually shipped out Friday. When I called they were very unapolagetic, and frankly a little rude

I was very pleased with the services I received from Peninsula Eye and Contact Lens Clinic. If it wasnt for Dr. Dale who during my eye exam notice the blood vessels in the back of my eye showed signs of heart disease. I made appointment with a cardiologist and he was right. I never would have known if I had not got my eyes checked.

I have used the Eye & Contact Lens Clinic for over 30 years for glasses and various types of contact lenses. The staff and doctors have always been friendly and professional and have been willing to work with me on customization requests. I have been extremely satisfied with my experiences there.

Tried to make an appointment for my daughter office closes early 4 p.m. last patient to be seen at 3pm. Also, the receptionist seemed very irritated that I was trying to make an appointment! Where is the customer service? Anyhow, I just told her never mind and I’ll make an appointment at another office.

I just love this place. Dr Dale and staff are amazing.

The office is unprofessional. They cancel our scheduled appointment and told to go somewhere else. I would recommend them to anyone.

Horrible experience -- I went to get my glasses and contacts fitted, they charged $80.00 for the contacts. I paid with $100.00 in cash, and the receptionist didnt have a change so, she said shell add it to my credit to ensure, id buy glasses from them. Well, I decided to get it from warby parker. I got the glasses mailed to me, to find that the prescription wasnt correct. I called this clinic and they blamed me for ordering online, gave me a whole lecture on why I shouldnt trust online merchandise :S. Then she advised me to come back in to get re-fitted. They didnt return my $20.00. All and well, until I had to order my contact lenses from Walmart -- guy said he had a hard time understanding whats written, so he called the clinic. She then told him, they cannot release a new prescription correcting the mistake, if I was getting it from another clinic?? So I said, screw that! Never going back there again.

Id give them 0 stars if I could. The staff was rude. The optometrist was impatient, and only gave me a partial exame. As a result my eyeglass prescription was off, and I had to pay for a second exame at a different clinic, out of pocket. To add insult to injury, they want a $10 copay that my insurance tells me that I dont owe. Never going back there again.

Cant please everyone because we all have different expectations. I love the office/staff!
