Stanton optical has taken such good care of me. My optical appointment with Dr. Begotka was very thorough. He was personable and able to pin point the difficulty I was having with my vision. Christine took such excellent care of me. From assisting me with selecting new designer frames at an affordable price to measuring my glasses for my perfect no line bifocal.

I am traveling and if anyone has a clue about traveling they would know it is always difficult to find help for anything especially glasses. The pad on my nose piece fell out on my brand new glasses so I went to a few places which couldnt help nor really tried before I found Stanton. Carlos had me come right in a said he could fix me up with no issues. It took him a few minutes because these glasses have a unique pad but he finally found exactly what I needed and now I am back to seeing without a piece of steel sticking into the bridge of my nose. Thank you for the help Stanton!

To start off they got me in the same day I called I was calling around all day to other places and no one could get me in till next month. As soon as I walked in it was clean and nice, the workers were amazing the environment was welcoming. It was my first time there and their location is an hour away from my house but I will definitely be going back every time

Brookfield, locaton was very helpful, as a reminder of the appointment, Greg called and he also, gave a pre-screening eye exam, followed by a consultation with Dr. Jennifer, later the eyeware selection and another consultation was given by Tara, she was most helpful with contact lenses - choices of colors, and cost per six months or yearly lense supply, with an open option for scripted eye glasses too. This store was very clean! Thanks to the team!!

My first visit to Stanton went well. They had a pretty good selection of frames and the staff members that helped me were lovely. The virtual eye exam was a little weird (I’ve never had one before and have always had the person in the room) but it went okay. I am hard of hearing and had issues with the optometrist’s accent, but he was happy to repeat whatever I didn’t understand. All of this said, I don’t think I’ll be going back. I found the pricing to be a little higher and I was essentially told I had to get things like anti glare coating and warranties on my glasses. I’ve always found the coatings to be a waste as they frequently just flake off even if you’re very careful and I feel like if I wanted a warranty, that should be my choice to choose to get one. Both were repeatedly pushed on me and I finally caved.ETA: Since getting my glasses I have gotten notification after notification about picking up my glasses. I have no outstanding order. Seems like there are some organizational issues.

This was my first experience with Stanton Optical. The customer care was great. I was very impressed beginning with, the on time store opening, the friendly staff and greetings, the staffs professionalism, and the remote teleview eye exam. The Sales Manager, Virgie, was extremely knowledgeable, thoroughly explained the results of my eye exam, and all of the service options available. She was extremely patient and kind. My entire experience was very pleasant; I will refer others and return.

This is the worst eye care experience I’ve ever had: the first time I went the schedule 4 people at the same time as me so I had to wait for 30 mins after my set appointment. They also put in the wrong prescription for my contacts and I took it in to them and they couldn’t find the problem so I had to point out the problem for them. They then said they would order me new contacts but never did and I was told that by 2 workers. I recently went in and someone finally gave me the proper instructions on what to do to get my new contacts but this took 5 months. So unprofessional.

The 59.99 is completely untrue. I didnt mind the virtual exam what I did mind was the lie pertaining to prices. Even there supposed BOGO the final price tag came out to over 450 $. The frames were basic and plastic. As a life long glasses wearer I know that price was heavily inflated. The few glasses they said fit into the 59.99 was less the twenty in number and so ugly I could easily understand why they were the cheap ones. Finally the wait time was ridiculously long they had 4 people working but the entire time there I didnt see the other coworkers leave their stations. Just one guy doing the exams, checking us in and a good 20 minutes waiting three times.

Without a doubt one of the worst customer service experiences Ive had. This representative, Christine, was extremely rude. I was in a few weeks prior for an adjustment on my glasses. While that rep was attempting an adjustment, he broke My glasses. He said he was going to attempt to find a replacement frame and call me back. I never heard anything. I followed up a week later and was told the frames were discontinued and I could go in and pick out a new set of frames. I went in today to do that and was greeted by a very rude representative, Christine. Never Apologized for the broken glasses, she acted as if I was a problem. I began trying on frames she came over and asked me which ones were a no. I told her all of them. She picked up the bin and walked away. A few moments later another representative came over and told me that they limit the try-ons to only 10 because they have to sanitize the glasses. At that point, I asked for a refund. The Christine person comes over and tells me I will only be refunded $95, not the $120 (which was the amount I has to use towards the replacement frames) because it was more than a year since I got the frames. I said that was unacceptable seeing as though they were broken by the previous rep. She said, I didnt break your glasses. What a childish remark! No one said she did. All she wanted to do was shift blame instead of representing the company she works for. Then she went on to say that she doesnt make policy regarding how many glasses you can try on. No one ever came over to ask to help me find glasses.if there was no covid no one would be over my shoulder telling me I could only choose 10 pair to try on. This was a horrible experience and I will never return. Im waiting to hear back from the district manager. As I was speaking to the store manager, this Christine character stood over the managers sjould nodfing and rolling her eyes while I talked to the manager. How out of line, I cannot believe how people work in customer service and have absolutely no clue what service is. Find a locally owned eye doctor and lets stop supporting these chains who dont appreciate customers. Their selection of glasses was bare minimum anyways. Shame on you Christine! Grow up and learn how to treat customers!

Worst Experience Imaginable to get glasses. The eye exam is virtual. I was not informed that the exam would be virtual. When I was in the store selecting frames, 2 managers were arguing across the store about breaks. My glasses were ordered on 12/4/20. I paid 50% of the cost on 12/4/20. As of 2/9/21, I have not received my glasses. The store telephone number is not listed. Calls go through an automated customer service call center. After waiting over 2 months for my glasses, I was told my frames were lost. I requested a refund. The store manager said she was not able to authorize a refund and I was told that I might not be eligible to receive a refund. It was suggested I call customer service about my refund. The Customer Service department told me my glasses were already delivered. I dont have my glasses and I wasnt given a reason to believe Ill get refunded. This store is lacking in every aspect of running a business. Total failure in customer service and customer satisfaction.

The manager, Douglas, is awesome. Due to technical issues and a shortage of staff my wait was extra long. Douglas made sure to explain things and make sure I was aware of the issues they were experiencing. All of the staff was apologetic and creative in helping customers thru their challenges. My experience was Godsend! The sales manager, Virgie went above and beyond to help me with my multiple issues. My plan was out of network and I desperately needed to get new, “eyes” Not only did I receive great customer service she helped me with the best rates possible! Oh and did I mention the temporary, “eyes” until mine are ready?! So thankful to the staff and most importantly Virgie for listening. Pandemic tried but Stanton Optical was ready to give its all. HORRIBLE SERVICE FROM THE BEGINNING!!! I put an appointment request through their online system for an appointment at 315 pm. Shortly after, I got an email stating there was a appointment time change to 345 pm. That was not a problem. I show up 15 mins earlier than my updated schedule appointment time and WAS NOT greeted right away. I was ONLY greeted when I decided to walk around and look at their eye wear inventory. It was when I was told to stay put towards the front of the store because they need to do a temperature check before I “entered” the office. That was not a problem because I understand with Covid and all BUT what got to me was that you didn’t care to acknowledge me until I did something out of your comfort zone to say something to me?THEN I was finally helped with the next available staff for my appointment which was scheduled for 345 pm, BUT of course not at the right time. I was put back into doing paperwork for the exam at 415 pm. Once I was finished with the exam, it was 5 pm. I needed contacts so I decided to order contacts that same day after my exam even though I have been there longer than I expected. When I was ordering the employee who helped me with that part didnt process my contacts order correctly based off of my insurance benefits. I even questioned her but she denied it. Because I was in a hurry, I didn’t feel like arguing or making any more problems for myself as I was running late as it was. So I let it be and said I will fix it the next day.Next day came and I decided to call them in the morning. I spoke to the manager of the office I went to and told her the whole ordering dilemma. She apologized and agreed that my contacts order was NOT processed correctly and that I needed a refund and she had to talk to her insurance company to reverse the order and put through my whole benefits. So she said she will call me back once that was taken care of. After that, The manager and I played phone tag for about 2 days. I then decided to call again, but this time, I didn’t get through to someone at the office I went to, instead I was talking to multiple people in the call centers who all did NOT understand what I was saying. I was transferred 3 times and finally I asked to speak to a manager who then came on and I had to tell the whole story again! That manager then said he will call the store and try to get this taken care of and get me my refund. Well after being on hold, a new person came onto the line and right away, NEVER ASKED ME WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS AND JUST WENT ON SAYING THE FOLLOWING, and I kid you not, exactly what she said to me was...”Unfortunately we will not be able to give you a refund because contacts are medical devices and we are not able to do anything about it since the doctor has prescribed them to you....” she never once apologized nor did she even know the complete story before just telling me whatever she told me. ALSO, this was also the same employee who helped me with my contacts order. After I had told her again the situation and that I was told by her manager that I am due for a refund because the order was processed incorrectly, she told me that NO managers were available!It took over 2.5 weeks to finally get my refund, AND to this very day, I still DO NOT have my contacts order I placed. My exam appointment and contacts order was placed on 02/28/2021!!!! It should not take this long for any contacts order to be ordered! A WHOLE MONTH!!!

I scheduled an appointment online and I got an email moving it back a half hour. I could reschedule if that didnt work. It was fine. But then when I got to the store, there was someone else who also was scheduled for the same time. The assistant said that they book appointments in the store and have no control over the online bookings so they have to take the ones that come into the computer first. I guess dont make appointments online. However, once I was finally seen, the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Ive had 2 dealings with Stanton optical and they have both been pretty positive. The 1st time around I thought I got an extremely good deal on 2 pairs of glasses (they were running a 2-fer special at the time. This time around I did not get as great a deal but still a pretty reasonable price. My reasons for not giving a 5-star are that I have to wait several weeks for my order, and the staff was not as friendly and kind of stressed out at times. Those things are somewhat related to doing business in the current Covid situation, so completely understandable.

Very poor experience and result. i scheduled an eye exam, and even though i had a reserved time i waited almost 30 minutes to be seen. then i spent some time with an assistant who was very good, but was passed on to an optometrist that was working remotely. the optometrist spent about 5 minutes with me, and gave me a prescription that was significantly different than my previous prescription. I tried in my new contacts the next day and couldnt see well at all. i asked for them to change my prescription back to what it was so i can get new contacts and they said i would have to come back and repeat the whole process again, and they would also not provide a refund. i would rather pay for a new exam somewhere else than go back. Added update as of 11/9. i tried to speak with a number of people, both at their call center which sounded like it was not in the US, and in person at the store. Neither route provided even the smallest bit of help. while at the store i also overheard another patient with a very similar experience that was unable to get any help as well

I had the worst time at Stanton optical. It first started with scheduling my exam. It was booked for 10:20 A.M. they emailed me at 10:10 saying that they rescheduled my exap for a hour later. I was just pulling in to the driveway so I called and they said that no one is there so come in anyways. While I was waiting for my exam there I heard a customer and a employee was fighting. The employee kept getting really mad and yelling at the customer. I dont even know what it was about but they almost called the police. When I got done with my exam which was weird talking to a computer I started looking around for glasses and the same employee that was fighting came to me and said Im next. I picked out a couple of frames and asked how much for everything and she said are you sure you want those. She finally gave me the price and asked how long would it take and she said about a week. So I ordered them. 3 weeks later I finally got a call saying my glasses were in. So I picked them up and she handed me the glasses and said ok good bye. I asked if they needed adjusting but she said no they are good. I took them home and my head hurts really bad now because they are to tight on me. I am scared to even go in there again to ask if they can adjust them. 3 days after I picked up my glasses I get a text and a email saying my glasses are in to be picked up. I really cant believe that this place works like this. I dont even know what kind of warranty I have or anything. Worst time ever.

I walked in because I needed to look at glasses, but I did not know for sure if I was going to buy any. I was immediately greeted after walking through the door and everyone was so nice. Chris Hofius looked up my information and gave me several options for glasses. One of the options he chose was a pair I loved immediately, but I didnt know if it was right for me. Well, thank goodness he was there, because I have a new pair of really cute glasses on the way, as well as a pair of sunglasses that will never go out of style. Thank you Chris, as well as everyone at Stanton Optical, for making this such a fantastic experience for me!

I liked this place at first because they had open appointments. I was told to go on Monday and I get there Monday and they said my appointment is on Tuesday. I need to drive 30 minutes from where I live and this is the second time they do this to me. The front desk lady did not even try to help. She was like sorry, come back tomorrow. I had an awful experience here. Brandi is rude and condescending, she cut me off when talking almost every time I spoke, and scolded me for not following her instructions quickly enough, or moving when she didnt want me to move. She spent most of her time during my glasses selection, singing aloud to the hip-hop music in the store, or speaking to a male employee about about getting her nails done, her plans for the weekend, and where a ATM was so she could get some money out. The employees and the store are filthy. The managers jacket was covered in stains and There was no wiping down of equipment before or after my face touched it, gross! I spent almost 2 hours there and then was told that I was supposed to take my contacts out before the exam!! How would I know to do that unless they told me? I couldnt stay that day, so I had to go back the next day and redo it, which was a total waste of time. Ive read several of your google reviews, and many of your other customers issues were identical to mine, lack of knowledge, Hard selling tactics, prices that lead you to believe that it will far less expensive and a complete lack of respect for someones time. Id like to know what you are going to do to compensate me for my time? I have seen your responses to other customer Google reviews, and they all say thank you for letting us know, and we will forward the information to that stores manager. Thats great for your company to help improve customer service and quality, but what does the customer who already had the bad experience get for their trouble?

I would give zero stars if I could. First, you dont get an appointment with an eye doctor in the store, it is a video conference. Second, they charge you for the eye exam before you get it, and then take that amount off the cost of your eye glasses. Third, they are very forceful when it comes to selling. If you think you will get two pairs of glasses for only $60, you are more than likely wrong. There are barely any frames within that price range, and they use hard selling tactics to upsell you on the lenses. I kept telling the salesperson I only wanted the bare minimum, I cant afford anything more, and he kept trying to sell me the upgraded packages that were priced well over $200. They use VERY high pressure selling tactics. They dont care if it is a right fit for you and your eyes, as long as they make money off the sale.Fourth, they got my prescription wrong. The glasses they made gave me double and skewed vision. I went back, and they said it takes a while to get used to a new prescription. I know this, I have worn glasses for 20 years. Fine, I gave it a week. It didnt get better so I went back again, this time they gave me a new exam. I said I dont want the video conference, and they told me that they have an in house doctor once a week. Got my appointment, and finally saw a doctor in person!They screwed up the glasses again. At this point, I was just so sick of them that I didnt want their glasses anymore, so I returned the glasses. I got a refund (that took quite a while to get put back into my account.) I would never recommend this place to anyone. It took me three weeks to not even get any glasses because of their incompetence. My recommendation: go to a different eye doctor, get your prescription, and order glasses online.

Bought glasses on the 2nd of July still waiting for them! They first sent out the wrong prescription. Told me they would put a rush on the order to have them fixed. Then have lied multiple times of when they will come into the store. I get told one day and call that day and they give me the run around and say a few more days or a week. Im still waiting for the new pairs I ordered its 5 weeks later, and they told me it will be another week. Id suggest spending your money somewhere else.

Best optical store yet! I have used many different eye doctors/eye glasses stores over the years and this is my favorite by far. They had a large selection of frames and great prices. The customer service was fantastic with all the employees being very helpful. They also can give you your new glasses the same day depending one what lenses you get, for example I got some prescription sunglasses with polarized lenses and those have to be made off site, but my normal eyeglasses I walked out with. A great experience overall.

Terrible customer service. I would give zero stars if I could. Non-communicative managers. I was given two incorrect prescriptions that may have damaged my vision. They conduct televised exams where the optometrist is not even present. Poorly managed, incompetent, under staffed... I spent hundreds on contacts and glasses that I cant use. I loved the glasses I got from here, and the one dark haired lady I worked with was very helpful and knowledgeable. However, there was one employee that “helped” me both on my exam and pick up date and she was extremely rude both times. The first time I came she took her time doing things that could’ve been done after she helped us (while no one else was there) then more people walked in and she helped them first after we were there for 15 minutes! Luckily she didn’t help us that day.Then when I came to pick up my glasses she rung me up and was too busy listening to the drama of another customer that she didn’t look at me or tell me a price before she swiped my card or acknowledge me at all. After going out to my car and deciding i wanted her to adjust them for me, i went back in. While in the middle of us talking (already forgetting that she checked me out 2 minutes prior) two other customers walked in and she interrupted me speaking and puts her finger in my face and says “wait, just one minute” and proceeds to help the ladies who walked in, grabbing them bins, explaining the rules etc. etc. Luckily one of the ladies was kind enough to tell the worker she should finish up with me first. She was rude the rest of my visit and didn’t say thank you when I left either. Very dissatisfied with that employee, otherwise the place is great. Honestly, don’t know how that woman still works there seeing all the terrible reviews similar to mine on the same person. It’s a shame because I will NOT be going back because of that lady.

Went into Stanton Optical along with my husband both looking for a pair of glasses. This was my first time needing glasses so I knew absolutely nothing about glasses! The staff was so patient with me explaining all I needed to know making sure I understood the different choices and that I was totally satisfied before leaving the store. I have to admit I also was very impressed with the fact 3 workers pitched in to help me and my husband during our visit even assisting in the style of frames we chose. Having so many styles to choose from was a little overwhelming but I never felt rushed although we stayed in the store 40 minutes past closing time! Stanton employees deserve 10 stars in my eyes, keep up the excellent service you provide!The Fullers

I purchases 2 pair of glasses in October 2019, I was not able to see out of them considering my prescription had not changed. I called constantly about this problem, it was not until 02/17/2020 when I went someplace else to get glasses did I find out the problem. They turned my prescription around and when I called them about it, they said I would have to pay Almost $240.00 to correct their mistake (Original glasses was $80.00 with tint). This is the last place that I would recommend for Glasses. The eye doctor was on video in Florida. If I had known that before the exam started I would not have went there. They are terrible and do not want to correct their mistake....

Do not go here. I cannot stress this enough. The eye doctors are not in the office but over video, prescriptions are not accurate and office is dirty! The young woman who helped me had sunglasses on the entire time and told me that the exam area (where they do the glaucoma testing) is “supposed to be dark”, even though I’ve been wearing glasses for 44 years. I couldn’t imagine a worse place to get glasses. I am shocked this place is still open.

This is honestly the best place to go to for glasses. I was a huge fan of Zenni Optical until now! Super friendly customer service. The three ladies that helped me were very kind, super informative and helpful! They even helped me pick out frames! Also she worked with my budget perfectly. Gave me a few discounts! This place is a drive through scam. Dont waste your money there. I went back 3 days after picking up my glasses for an adjustment. They told me I needed new frames and I was responsible for 20% of the cost.No ophthalmologist on the premises. Do your homework. Visit a real doctor. Even if your insurance recommends them. Stanton Optical is a joke.

I expected that the $59.95 was just a ruse to get you in the door. Was I wrong! I left with 2 pair of decent glasses, happy with my purchase. I spent $59.95! I say they were “decent “ glasses. They weren’t excellent or top-of-the-line. However, remember it was $5995 for two pairs and an exam. I do believe that I got more than my money’s worth. And the customer service was way above expectation. Even though I opted to take the deal instead of paying more for my glasses, I was still treated as though I was welcome. The store in Brookfield sucks, I was waiting for at least 10 minutes while the three employees. One of which was at a desk doing little to nothing. I called, only to be put on hold and disconnected. Called back moments later only for the phone to just ring. Will NEVER come back to this stanton optical, as the employees seem very disconcerted.

Omg!! I had the best experience getting new glasses today from Stanton Optical!! Walked in, started looking at frames and fell in love with so many styles there and Christopher greeted me with such friendliness! He got me all set up with an eye exam that evening, helped me pick out 2 frames and it all was such an amazing price! He helped me feel very comfortable with the whole process. The general manager, Jake Grooms came over and talked with me and was very friendly too. I left there so happy!! I am picking up my new glasses tomorrow after work. Definitely recommend Stanton Optical for your glasses. Ask for Christopher when you go! I know I will be back for more styles!

Wow, what great customer service I received at Stanton Optical. First, let me say the location easy access for individuals with disabilities, no stairs and easy access for those utilizing a wheelchair. Outside of that the Store Manager, Chris, and Barb, one of the technicians did all of the leg work helping me select eye glasses that fit my personality. Again, my experience at Stanton Optical exceeded my expectation and I would like to recommend them for your eye care needs.

Video optometrist which was shocking! Video quality very poor. Staff was rude and they did not want to help show any glasses. They did not fit my sons glasses to his face. She kept telling me they were fine as they were slipping down his face, and she was singing to her music. No proper cases or cleaner available. I mentioned no cleaner for glasses...I got a shrug of shoulders! Go elsewhere, horrible place with poor quality glasses and customer service stunk!

Great experience and even greater value. Made an eye exam appointment online for the two pair of glasses for $59.95 special including the eye exam. Glasses were ready two days later. Had my spouse repeat my experience (she got her glasses on the same day) and we both received quality eye exams and two pairs of glasses each for a total of $119.90. Elsewhere we would have spent $130 total for the eye exams alone.

I visited on a Sunday evening. The staff, Susan, Xavier, Shyann and Matthew were great. Friendly, courteous and professional. I received the exam, two pair of glasses and the frame club for a very competitive price. Ive already taken advantage of acquiring two additional free pairs of frames. Being able to take glasses with you the same day is very convenient. I recommend this place.

I had a great experience from beginning to end. Nick was awesome he was knowledgeable and very nice with helping me find a pair of frames and sunglasses. The prices here can’t be beat less than $200 for a pair of glasses and sunglasses in about 30 minutes. I also was able to interact with the GM Jake he was also great will recommend to family and friends. Great customer service great staff very friendly.

They have the worst customer service. I’ve given them 2 chances and both times it’s been awful. I would never go here. They don’t have a number for me to talk to corporate. I was told my glasses that I need would be in in 2 weeks it’s going on 3.5 weeks. They cut me off mid sentence. Kept promising someone would call me and have yet to receive a phone call from them. Awful awful awful.

Jake ( General Manager) and Joe (assist manager) was very helpful in getting us the best deal for what we wanted. Very professional environment and very good experience. Stanton optical is a good place to go for your eye needs. I was greeted by Lisa at the 124th capitol location and she was very helpful. she even knew which glasses fit my style and the ones that didn’t. The eye exam was a bit weird because the letter chart was not in front of me across the room but was placed diagonally across the room from me. However, my glasses seem okay, I still have to get used to them but all seems fine. Thank you Stanton optical!

Wonderful service from all the staff that helped my mom and I during our two hour visit. They were very thorough with their service with answering our questions and concerns and helping us look for frames. Chris was very helpful with our concern about pricing and helped us find frames within our budgets.
