Dropped off my Crestliner for servicing and winterizing today. The good folks at Bamforth are awfully busy but they were kind enough to take my boat and hold it until they are ready since I will be unable to drive for a few weeks after surgery. Only positive experiences for me at this business!

Great place all the way around! I have bought several motors from here and routinely store them here over the winter. The staff is very accommodating and knowledgeable. I have yet to have a single issue with anything that I have bought or had worked on here.

Bought a tiny little boat and they still gave me the personal service that one would expect buying a big boat. Took me out on the river and showed me how to use it. Im female and they didnt give me the women dont buy boats attitude at all.

Bamforth has been pulling my boat in the fall, performing maintenance, and launches it every spring for many years. They winterize it, and get it ready, and over the years have done all the maintenance; bottom painting, parts, teak, everything. Great guys, reliable as an atomic clock, and easy to work with. I highly recommend them.

Years ago I used to come here for Auto parts, now I come here for all my torch and welding gases, and Marine supplies and parts. Still family owned and extremely polite and helpful counter people. Prices are good and always seem to have what I need. Always nice to have a local business in town that I have been patronizing for 40+ years and many more to come.

Because of the poor service my husband actually sold the Evinrude off his boat. We never minded overpaying for labor and parts, but figured it was top quality. We visited another mechanic and quickly found we could get better service and better prices. The last time we went they talked down to my husband making him feel it was his fault, but we found it was an issue the other shop found quickly correctly.

I work for a oyster farm with 6 boats in our fleet. After years of searching for a good mechanic we were fortunate to find these guys. Boats are done correctly and quickly, we couldnt be happier.

Bamforth Marine quickly solved a motor problem quickly and correctly within a week of bringing it in to them. The dealer who sold it to me was unable to find the problem after two months of working on it. The Bamforth employees are friendly, helpful, and a joy to do business with.I highly recommend them and will be going back there in the future.

Pulled on to 295 from Topsham and blew out a bearing....limped one exit and down road to Bamforth Marine....Gary and the guys had new bearings and seals for for both tires done in 2 hours.....absolutely fantastic...they saved our trip...Thanks so much!!!

Our family has done business with Bamforths since 1968. We and the friends weve recommended to them treasure their friendliness, extreme competence, and dependability.

I was upset with their service. The motor I purchased from them was in no way ready and was not gone through like promised at all. After waiting weeks and swapping jets on carbs I Ended up going to another shop to have the issues resolved. The motor had several issues and they did nothing for me...not even a sorry.

These guys know their stuff.
