Ahhh...Discover the latest in beauty at Sephora. With that kind of message, Im SOLD. I came here to buy something for my sister and mum. Yes, Im a bloody great brother and son. ;) I treat women like royalty. Sephora is beauty boutique and theyre ubiquitous through out the world. This location was in Burlingame (Bay Area). I arrived at the store and was flocked and warmly greeted by lovely sales women. Blimey, I felt royalty. Moreover, the store was neat and well organized. I perused their products from fragrance to lipsticks to eyeliner. Since it was my first time here I asked a lovely young sales woman to assist me. She assumed I was shopping for a gf but I politely corrected her. She gave a sheepish smile. Like so...:D Anyways, she was helpful in assisting me and narrowing it down so I can make an executive decision. Prices were on a high end. Overall, I enjoyed my Sephora time and got to know a lovely sales woman and learned a lot about womans world. I highly recommend this beauty store.

So disappointed with the decline in the shopping experience at Sephora in Burlingame. They used to have such professional store associates who were helpful and knowledgeable, but today I went in to pick up a few things and couldn’t get anyone to help me.There were only two customers in the store and 5 store associates, but they were all heads down on their mobiles. Even at the shelf asking about a new product, the guy I asked for help wouldn’t even look at me because he was so occupied on his phone. It was such an uncomfortable and awkward experience I left and went to Blue Mercury.A Sephora VIP Rouge member, I’ve always been loyal to this store, but more and more I’ve been shopping Blue Mercury because I can always count on their amazing and friendly service. They actually like their customers.

Great service, especially for a quick errand - didn’t even have to walk into the store. The front door attendant asked if I knew what I wanted (which I did) and had the product brought to the door and rung me up on a phone. It was fast, efficient, and safe!

Huge fan of this place. Ive been having fun learning about different skin care products. But when I decided to start learning about makeup, I was totally lost. Thankfully, operation lead Terry was there to help me. She provided great customer service and asked me about my skin, the look I was going for, etc. She got me started on the right path - Thanks, Terry! Roi and one of the mangers were both also very helpful during my next visit. Thank you, Sephora Burlingame - see you soon!

So I randomly walked into this sephora in Burlingame down the street from my house, and vibed w/Estefany.. She totally gave me the 411 on my skin and encouraged me to use some products to help with aging and menstrual breakouts... Being from the Midwest, my skin had to adjust to California climate. Thanks for complementing me on my youth fullness as I enter my 30s... Totally recommend her... Shes fn fantastic👍👍👍

It wasnt bad but the girl who helped the week before gave me the wrong make it was 10 shades to light. But they were very nice and let me exchange it with no problem.

Came here for the first time with my wife. From what I noticed, There are only some Helpful staff. We Purchased a sample pack. It Was missing the only sample she wanted. So ofcourse we had to go back and ask for a replacement. First off the lady was scanning a receipt from the counter and was questioning if we purchased the item. Then she tried to replace it with a completely different item. Very annoying. Thats why I dont go to sephora with her and thats why Ill never go again lol.

Couldnt decide what cologne and a lovely SEPHORA REP STEPPED IN TO HELP👏 offered samples loved it. I cant wait to try and buy, I will return to this location!

Cool spot for those looking for what they sell. Took a start off due to a somehow lack of flavor I noticed during my visit this evening. Store almost empty ( always full otherwise) and staff quite inattentive, seemed bored to be there... selection not that great either, per my shoppers feedback..

I really like this branch. Located in the middle of Burlingame Ave., next to a bunch of restaurants and clothing stores.The staff is friendly and helpful. They have a good selection of pretty much of everything. The store is clean and well organized.

I didn’t shopping at Sephora more than 2 years so this time I decide to stop by in Burlingame so products and everything look fantastic. Like a wonder land for me and I am lost in time here. After walk around in Foundation section and thinking about which one I need to buy it. Cas I didn’t have a make up on more than 1 year Then one guy show up and ask me do I need some help whatI am looking for His voice and face doesn’t friendly I am said back to him I am looking for foundation and powder for myself. He answers back I don’t understand what you say. Ok maybe my English not too good so I ask him to help me to should it match for my skin He said he a Manager he will be bring some one to help me the Lady so nice a helpful and then I looking for another thing maybe perfume so I am stuck in there for awhile and he came back again and asking Oh now you looking for perfume What? I have to buy only foundation and powder and then go home? So I should one perfume and I decide to leave even I want to buy another things I don’t understand why he act like despise me my the voice and how he act and all of this I didn’t have bad attitude to him overall all employee below the line look more professional in service mind more than their MANAGER .I am recommend If you like to spend your money here maybe they will give you some bad mood for complimentary

They are quite rude. Zoya was the only employee I felt was polite, and I do feel the others showed a lack of politeness because I was obviously from out of country.

Ive been to many different Sephoras and Ive always have had good experiences but this store takes the cake every staff member I encountered was extremely nice and did everything to help me out. It was by far one of my best shopping experiences with a Sephora store.

I decided to go to Sephora to get myself a foundation and few other skincare itemsThat person approached me and asked me if I needed help I replied that I was just having a look ..at that stage I wasn’t even sure what brand I was looking for.. few minutes later, I decided to approach someone as I was a bit lost with all these brands that’I never heard of.. the lady called that same person who asked me if I needed help before..I told him I wasn’t sure exactly what I needed and if he could help me find the right shade and texture as I wasn’t very familiar with foundation ..he took me to a section.. took a cream ..handed it me with one of his brushes.. and say this one here u go and left me there ... ://I was a bit confused.. i tried to apply it as much as I could and it was like 3 shades darker than my skin.. am not a make up artist but am not blind..Whoever this person was make up pro or not, I found him very unprofessional and full of attitude ..I just gave up on the products I was gonna purchase and left the shop..Sephora you should train your staff on customer satisfaction and expectations.Thank you

Limited inventory, small space and bad parking. Customer service doesnt exist here. You are ignired as you walk in while employees talk to each other, more like gosspip together. Ive also had my makeup application appointment canceled here by the store with short notice.

We felt like they were racists. I bought my girlfriend one of the better face brushes for her birthday, and I paid cash. I included a gift receipt so she could return or exchange it if she wanted. She decided to go to return it, and one store refused to refund her with the gift receipt. The box was unopened and even had the seals. I verified online the return policy - and they should have refunded her with only the gift receipt because I bought it only 4 days earlier. Unfortunately, I felt I had to give her the original receipt. She went to this store with the gift receipt, and they still gave her a hard time with the gift receipt, and even with the original normal purchase receipt they seemed to want to avoid refund. She felt as if they were implying that she stole the gift to get money, and she felt positive that it was due to her hispanic appearance. Although I like the products Sephora sells, I wont buy a gift there again, if not for the racist implication, merely for the trouble they made with a gift receipt.

Was hoping to have a beauty experience when I went in to the store today. Was looking to add to my skincare collection and get a new foundation. Although the staff was helpful the manager kept calling them away and I never was asked to sit down or offer an experience. I stayed a long time looking at different products and picking out a few things I would take home. After being interrupted several I went to wait in line to purchase and the line up was way too long. Unfortunately I left with nothing. Totally bummed.

Unfortunately my sister and I had a horrible experience. As soon as we arrived we noticed all the employees staring at us. We were initially approached by one of the employees asking if we needed help, we said no thank you. Not even a minute after, they send someone else to ask us if we needed help finding anything, again we said no thank you. I noticed that the same lady who checked on us the first time, was motioned by someone who I assume would be a supervisor or manager to approach us again, asking once more if we needed help finding anything, we said no thank you and she remained next to us the entire time until it was time for us to cash out. I paid attention to an elderly Caucasian couple buying something and were approached once with the kindest attitudes and sweetest of smiles which we did not receive even at the cash stand. My sister and I being Afro latinas immediately picked up what was going on that very moment. I’m sure this will be brushed under the rug and won’t get any attention and won’t be corrected, but this was a horrible feeling.
