The service of Burlingame office is much better than the Palo Alto one. Farina is very professional and helpful, I still remember that when I was at Enterprise for my loaner, the agent told me Farina has reserved two cars (SUV, Model S) for me to select, thats very nice and means that she has a careful thought and done a lot of things ahead of time. She also keeps following up my cars status with the tech team and send me the update much more frequent than the others.

Staff seems to be inexperienced, not very knowledgeable about the actual work done for service, and not very good customer service. Same air compressor failure in less than 2 years. The service reps were unable to offer up any explanation as to whether it was common failure or not. Also, they NEVER recommend tire rotations. I suspect they dont even check. My tires havent been rotated since purchase (4 years ago, 24k miles) based on the service reports I get back from them. They never wash or clean the vehicle as part of the service even if it is there for multiple days for the work. For the price of the vehicle (2017 Model S), I would expect better service.

Im editing this review and giving a 1 star instead of originally 5. The service rep who was writing up my report was horrible. He did not pay proper attention to issues I was reporting and not very accommodating. I hope others are not this unlucky and end up with terrible experience I had.

Been here multiple times and didnt fix the issue with my vehicle. Upon arrival the sign states to wait at the door, but I constantly stood there for awhile even as other customers cut in front and the inattentive sales agents were constantly busy. Ive owned Lexus and BMW vehicles who have far superior service. Im going to try a different tesla location to see if my experience varies.

Update May 2019: Service manager Steve B. Resolved a problem with the main screen that had been ongoing for months. He is good at listening to the details of the problem and quickly resolving the issue with his service team.Update October 2018: Alex provided excellent service for some minor issues and tire and wheel replacement. He kept me updated with daily texts that were concise and helpful. The car came back in excellent shape as always.Feedback for Tesla corporate: please try to keep parts pricing more consistent.Service from Mark in front was excellent today. A light came on en route to a meeting, I detoured to the service center, and Mark took the car and returned within 10 minutes with the problem solved.

I’m not sure why I had such high regards for Tesla service. We picked up delivery of the car and that was already a pretty bad experience. The delivery person was rude and made us feel uncomfortable for trying to inspect the car before picking up for delivery. When I purchase a new car, I expect the car to be cleaned before it’s delivered especially at that price for a Tesla. The car had a small paint chip and had dirty marks in several places. The interior such as the middle console and cup holders were notably dirty. The delivery person cleaned only some spots and assured us that the paint chip would get fixed when we make an appointment and would be covered under warranty and that he would put a note in our account. So we made an appointment and of course appointments were at least a month out. Finally went in for our appointment and the employee told us that they could not fix the paint chip and we would have to pay for it because the delivery person never noted it on our account. We even had photo proof that the paint chip was there when we picked up the car on delivery day but they said they couldn’t do anything about it. Seems pretty common that they go back on their word from other reviews. Such a disappointment. Love the car and the technology but service is subpar.

For weeks my best friend has been excitedly talking about the arrival of her new Tesla. As the CEO of her company she already made plans to install a public charging station at her HQ. Today was the big day and as she drove off the lot she was both anxious and optimistic she made the correct decision. That all ended 15 minutes later when she got a flat tire and dented rim. Unlike our cars purchased from Lexus, Mercedes, BMW and Audi who all pride themselves on buyer experience... Tesla Burlingame charged her for the roadside, tire and had her drive away on the FIRST DAY with a dented rim on her NEW CAR. Apparently the personality of their jerk founder permeates the entire company. I won’t ever buy one and I will be sharing this story with all I know.

My model 3 was delivered with damage to the front lower bumper when it came off the transport carrier truck. Took it to Burlingame Tesla where the service department refused to repair the damage despite a Due Bill from the sales department. Would give zero stars if it was an option. Avoid their service department. I will travel to SF or San Jose for service.

If youre interested in new Tesla I highly recommend calling and asking for ANTHONY! The Tesla purchase process is definitely unique and different. We placed our order online and Tesla was slow to get in touch, but as soon as I called the Burlingame location and got Anthony on the phone all of our questions were answered. Anthony ended up taking over our order and was extremely helpful, responsive and flexible with our needs. Upon delivery he answered all of our questions, gave us tons of time and space to check out the car before signing our paperwork, and was never pressuring us. Call and ask for Anthony!

Service is not a strong suit of this location. Got a new model 3 with less then 6k miles with a headrest issue that they will it fix under warranty despite it being an issue that many owners complained about. Makes me wonder about the rest of the car in terms of longevity.

Cool place. Untrained staff.Not your typical dealership so expect to deal with unanswered questions or to wait to get them answered by someone who knows. No service/parts counter. Just customer service front desk ppl who try to handle it all.Theyre far away from that point though. Needs to be monitored for future development.

Really disappointed in this showroom and repair shop. Ive regretted buying my Tesla S as service has really dropped significantly. The service was so much better before but the financial strain on Tesla has resulted in less professional people being hired and a highly noticeable downgrade in service. I am now considering selling my Tesla and going back to Mercedes or another high end car manufacturer because they truly understand taking care of the customer after the sale and keeping the quality of service high. You will be gambling with buying a Tesla as I did. 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

I put in an order for a car. I decided not to take the car, and they told me I could do that within 2 weeks, even on my account online.1. There is no cancel order button on the account2. It took me 1/2 hour to speak to a salesperson, all mailboxes were full, no-one picked up the phone. Anywhere. Even corporate. This was during work hours.3. They told me it would take THIRTY DAYS to get my refund for the deposit. WHAAAAA????? I will be paying credit card fees on that.4. Half the salespeople at this location can not answer simple technical questions about how the car works.5. You ask for help, all they do is go to an Imac to look up the information on the same site that I can access. I didnt have to come in for that6. There are much better companies out there that sell EV cars that actually treat customers with respect to their time and money. SSTAY AWAYSo thank you Tesla for living up to the reputation the Mr. Musk has been creating.

We live in SF and have been researching the Model3 for a long time, we test drove at the SF location but it felt very busy/under staffed.  We called the Burlingame location and were greeted on the phone by Anthony Damato - a Sales Associate who was able to answer all of our questions.  We started emailing and communicating exclusively with Anthony who always got back to us quickly.  He helped us throughout our process of buying and was there when we picked up our new car!  If youre thinking of a Tesla, call the Burlingame location and ask for Anthony, hes the man!

I bring my car here everytime I have my service done or for any problems. So much easier to get to than San Francisco Tesla. The people here are great! Always had another Tesla as a loaner and they are better than what I currently have.The service maintenance is fast and I havent had to go back because they missed something.

Very nice cars, terrible salesman. It was like pulling teeth to get any information out of him. The minute you looked away he was back talking to the other sales people. When he showed us how some of the things worked he was so fast or covered it with his hand it was hard to tell how he did it. It really felt like we were a bother to him being there. There was never an offer or details on how to sign up for a test drive.

It makes me not want to own this car.These Tesla salespeople messed up my friend and my online account and wouldn’t apologize for it. Misplaced a new car order and Placed our credit card on someone else’s account and blamed us for it.Be careful when dealing with these guys!!

Sales people seem nice but give wrong information1 Wanted to buy a basic model 3 after they were announced for sale, told I couldnt buy one only available to people who had put deposit down years ago. Went to Palo Alto store and bought one the next day - no problem.2 After delivery of my car went there for service issue as I was considering returning the car (day 6 of 7). Told me if I wanted to return car had to go to Palo Alto as they would be closed the next day (holiday). Service and sales were sitting around talking to each other 2 hours before close and had no interest in helping customers.Called my sales person at PA who tried to help with my issue and told me I could not return the car there I had to return it at Fremont b/c THEY WERE THE ONLY ONES THAT HAD THE CORRECT PAPERWORKSo they were 2 for 2 lying/not knowing about BASIC stuff.

I bought a new car in late May. It was delivered to me a few weeks later with signs of paint chips, misaligned driver seat and a dent on the rocker panel. I took the car in for Tesla to fix it but they just couldn’t get it right. At some point they promised to replace the new panel, but 2 weeks later they went back on the words and decided to do another poor paint job. The company work on deceptive scheme to just let you spend the money and not worry about delivering good products or the doing it RIGHT. Do not trust anything Tesla say. It will be a lie! Return the car before 7 days! Or it’d be too late! It’s not an honest company to work with.

The service team at Tesla Burlingame has been awesome!Being picky on the quality of my Model X finishes, I had a long list of small of work to be completed: falcon door adjustment, sealant replacement, slight wind noise, etc. They addressed it all perfectly!I also appreciated the regular status updates by text and they even followed up after I took my car from the service center. They also gave me a generous Uber voucher while my car was in service. From checkin to delivery this was a 5* experience. Thanks everyone!

Ust picked up my 2017 model S after its 2nd yearly service at Burlingame location and felt I had to take the time to write a review. My experience here started shortly after I picked up my new MS in October 2017 and had a half dozen issues that needed to be addressed, including a serious alignment issue. It took several visits until all my concerns were fixed. They were always patient and made sure to document and address everything I asked for. Not only were they apologetic for the hassle, they gave me a credit for a full detail whenever I wanted. A year later I went back to Burlingame for the regular maintenance, they had the specific alignment configuration for my car on file and did the full detail that was offered previously.Now, at year two, I was concerned knowing that the number of M3s out there have been overwhelming the service centers, so I didnt know what to expect. To be safe, I went to the center in person to book my appointment. Ashley helped me and answered all my questions except for one, she said she would research because she was not sure (I spend a LOT of time on TMC forums, so have a lot of special requests). We then booked my visit for 10 days out. There were appointments sooner, but not at ideal times for me. I showed up this morning and Jan checked me in. I had specific requests around the alignment and tire rotation and Jan made sure they were done correctly. The car was done by 3:00pm today and I spoke to Ashley again when I picked it up. She had done her research from our conversation 10 days ago and had the appropriate firmware adjustments made to my car.I could not be happier with the service at Burlingame.

I am hoping once I get to the service center that the experience will be better than it has been. My Model X has had issues since I picked it up at the Fremont factory on Aug 15th. I really dislike having to wait 6+ weeks for a service appointment. That seems unreasonable for the price I paid. I have been trying to reach the service center since Friday to discuss my Monday appointment. I left messages for the service center and no one called back. However I can tell you that they are really good on email in between the time you make the appointment and the actual day. Getting same day responses for service is not possible.
