Owner and staff is really helpful and always trying to help. Fresh and local meat and other grocery items. Long lines during the weekend. If you are missing any item just talk to the staff and they try to order the items you like.

First and last time visiting... The nicest thing I can say is they have all the usual things that a desi grocery should have. However, despite the imposing signs on the divider at the till, the guy who checked me out this morning was chinstrapping. Nose and mouth clearly visible... This is disappointing, considering that people are dropping like flies now. And ALL of the customers were wearing properly. BAH!

A food place for Sub continental fish lovers. The quality of Hilsa is unmatched. Although I miss the variety at times still Koi, Taposhi and Bata provide quite a few options outside Rohu and Katla. Feels overpriced at times but still the go to place if you are missing home.

I highly recommend this store. I went this last Sunday looking for Omani and lamb. I couldn’t immediately find the dried limes, but the very kind and helpful owner helped me out. He also was so professional and welcoming. I loved getting the high quality meat cut to my desire. The freshness was amazing. Also, they have a wide variety of whole fish. I also overheard a woman saying she comes from Rochester just to get her food here. She loves the store that much. Thank you so much! I will definitely be back. What a great find.

What a great place to be they have everything you need well except orange juice I couldnt find orange juice which was the one thing I went for but everything else is perfection and the gentleman working there super nice super cute I definitely recommend going here.

Got almost everything we needed. Good choice for meat, but the place seems a little bit tight and the aisles were narrow. The people working there were polite and helpful.

To be frank this was my go to place every weekend for some good quality meat and sometime fish. The owner is a very nice person and in fact I have very good repo with few of the staff members as well . Don’t know what happened but recently their services have degraded and quality of products as well . There’s been few times when there were discrepancies in the price tag as well as billed items... may be I was not attentive all these days but hope they take these as positive feedback .

We drive all the way just to buy fresh chicken and goat. Earlier the cut of the meat used to be small and clean. Now even after requesting to cut small it is not. Other than that they have Indian products and variety of veggies.

They have expired food there. I bought a stir fry sauce and later realized it was already expired in december 2017. (Almost 3 years ago!!! 😐🤢🤮😡) and some spices which were expired last year.

I was greeted with great hospitality by the owner. Any employees I met, were friendly and helpful. I found great frozen fish and frozen cooked food imported from Bangladesh. I personally recommend their premium quality beef. Make sure to have some bones if you want to cook any kind of curry dishes with that. They have grear selections of rice. I personally prefer Kataribhog rice. They have it there.Although the store is 45 minutes drive from where I live, I am happy to drive their every 3 to 4 months to stock up. The best part of the store is the people.

This place has by far the best halal meat in the twin cities metro area. You can get various cuts tailored made. Rest of the groceries are also available with a wide variety of frozen fish from Africa and Asia. The place could do with a little more spacious aisles as it is really small

Halal Groceries is nice and clean, also the best feature is that is open 24 hours, no crazy about cub foods but my extra star go for the convenience of store hours

This place is a rip-off. Sure they charge you by the pound, but they cant give you an estimate of how many will come in a single pound. Also, I have gotten ribs from here and they barely had anything on them. Go to Lincoln meats or to holy land. Bit more expensive but worth it.

The only good things they had was Bengali sweets. other than that there was very less number variety avaliable for consumers

Weve been shopping here for years. The employees are always very friendly and the meat is very good. The shop is easy to get to and the hours are good.

This is a go to place for me for buying fresh meat.In my opinion it’s the best place for lamb and goat.They also keep variety of fresh and salt water fishes (all frozen).Lately they have improved their general grocery and produce sections. Now I am able to find a lot many things there for which I had to drive to other Indian grocers.

This place is a joke. They should train their employees, they are slow and whenever u go they are on the phone and dont pay attention to their customers. This store sells rotten chicken, and expired fish and it smells very bad. Please be aware or go to Costco or Restaurant depot where you can find fresh and affordable halal meat.

Customer service is terrible, so slow and annoying, they have good meat but I try to avoid going in there as much as possible because I have to repeat myself 6 times to get what I want and wait for a long time to get checked out.

This was my first time at Halal Grocery, was so excited thinking I will get fresh and halal meat but they gave me chicken which was rotten, the guy lied to me saying he just cut the meat 10 min ago when I came home and started cleaning it, it was bad I have to throw all..Next time I won’t visit this store .

Great butcher shop here, you can get exactly what you ask for and the courteous friendly workers know how to cut most meat per Pakistani/Indian dishes requirements otherwise you can explain what you want to them and they do a pretty good job.

Been going there for 10years and lately it’s been the worst service. I call in advance for meat orders and it’s never ready. In fact they ask me who I talked to. If the owner is reading this you need to talk to your employees.

The quality of beef is great, and they can cut it in any size and shape you want.

You will get all kind of halal meats and fishes. Go there on Saturday morning, you will get fresh meat. One gotcha is, they dont sell loose goat meat, you have to purchase entire leg. So go in a group so that you can share. You will also get good quality beef. If you are bengali, you can find some bengali snacks also ( I like pran muri, ruchi chanachur, pran toast & etc)

I purchased a mango pulp from this store and after coming home I opened the can and realized that it had expired.

I happened to buy goat meat from Halal Groceries. The owner himself cut the meat, he put all wasted meat in it. It was very rude action by him. The store is anyway over priced. I will not recommend this store.

I like this place for getting chicken. I wish they can cut the chicken in more smaller pieces. The store can be better organized.

I wont recommend this place for fresh goat/lamb meat.We bought couple of times from halal groceries. the meat did take long time to cook, if we paid for fresh young meat, it shouldnt take 4-5 hours to cook. I doubt that this meat is fresh, or young meat as they say.the meat didnt taste good after cooking, and it spoiled our meals every time we cooked it, we still have some of the meat we bought from them in freezer, and we are seriously thinking of throwing it in the trash.quite disappointing, and we wont buy from this place again, and we wont recommend this place m for those who have good taste for good fresh halal meat
