As far as Starbucks locations go, this is a particularly nice venue. Pleasant cordial atmosphere in a handy location. Occasionally hard to get sat down inside with so many people parked at tables with their computers. Fabulous sitting area outside for when the weather is right.
Coffee is miles better than Dunkin!(my opinion, my wife is Dunkin fanatic so we fight a lot about which to go to)
I didnt know there is a big Starbucks with plenty of outlets in Kendall square, it is a good spot to charge and spend a couple of hours studying. The staff members have unwelcoming attitudes and they were rude by throwing orders everywhere.Just like other reviews I agree with the lack of customer service.
It was nice for the location but the service is slow
Nice place to hang out. Everyone is friendly and courteous. Service is great and quick.
Slowest service I have even seen in! 35-45 minute wait for your drink!
Usual Starbucks coffees 👍🏻 the staff are extremely friendly and taking high safety standards
Super friendly and fast
Got a nice pink drink from here. Good practice on social distancing as they had special boxes for the waiting area.
Its a Starbucks. Not much to say. Staff were nice and its very clean inside. I recommend it.
They have COVID procedures in place, so separate entrance/exit paths, no indoor seating and no bathroom access. But, its still Starbucks and you can order ahead on the app and just pickup or order at the counter and wait. Wasnt very busy the last few times I went on weekdays, but Kendall is still mostly empty of workers currently, so to be expected. My order was correct and quick each time, and isnt that really what anyone cares about?
It was at this Starbucks I first fell in love. Me and the girl wore masks, but the connection was felt deep inside. We began to dance and the cashiers didn’t know how to respond/pretended not to notice. It was electric and I’ll never forget the dancing Starbucks girl
Very good sized Starbucks. Worked here for a couple hours and it wasnt too distracting as their tables are nicely pushed aside away from where people wait for their coffee. It gets pretty busy during the work week in the mornings but I feel like the service is pretty fast and efficient. Their restrooms were clean and well kept.
This is one of my favorite Starbucks. The staff is always so friendly and nice. They’re super accommodating and it’s a nice and open area. No complaints.
Good, hot coffee. They still have almond croissants. The stores in the Metro Atlanta area stopped carrying them over a year ago. I was still upset until I saw them in the case. Atlanta get it together!
Starbucks is usually a pretty genuine company, which I have positive feelings towards. I enjoy starting my day with one of their sandwiches and a drink. This particular store is in a convenient location for that, and the staff working here are always really friendly. That being said, the location is holding up a 40% hit rate on actually having bacon in stock for their sandwiches -- and from what I hear, other food-items. Kind of unfortunate.
I just had the best Americano with steamed almond milk!
Toilet code is 111
I have always bought in this place but from time to time they do not add the ingredients as they are and when they deliver them it does not look good
This coffee shop is in a great walkable location, is a decent size as far as Starbucks goes, and service was pretty quick. Tables are wobbly, floors arent clean, and its very loud in here. Could probably meet up with a friend but not a place you want to try to work from.
I didnt understand how a Starbucks could already have such a low rating online... okay well now I know. quite slow, others got their drinks before me who ordered after (LOTS of others) and they even managed to get a standard drink with no modifications wrong. how?? Oh well.
Came to do some work. Nice spot. Lots of outlets for laptop work.
This is a great place to rest and get some work done. Since it is only about a block from MITs campus, there are a lot of students who go there to study. I was there for about three hours and didnt feel like I was overstaying my welcome. As always, the Starbucks coffee was great!
This is an updated post to commend the crew here on the excellent job they have been doing post-covid. Orders are completed correctly and service is quick and efficient. Ive been really thankful to the diligent and hard working crew during these difficult times.
Issac and Melanie are super stars that go above and beyond for customer service and drink quality . Jeremy brings the cheer and wake up vibes in the am and over all this store team manages the bustle before you get aggravated making it a great home store for regulars.
The new chicken coffee in MIT starbucks is remarkable. Coffee with a hint of chicken. Stupendous.
Never rated a Starbucks. Girls forgot to make one of our coffees. We waited about 20 minutes and then had to ask for it. The girl was a little abrasive and then to top it off, I delivered my grandmas coffee to her finally and brought her in to use the lav. The employees were offensively rude and told me they were closed and my grandma couldnt use the bathroom because they locked it and that I needed to use the hotel lobby and the door will lock on us and well need to exit through the hotel. So... u forget my coffee, make me wait, are rude to me about it and then tell me the bathrooms locked so my grandma cant use it even though its ur fault were still there in the first place?? She was waiting outside with my daughter... I did the Starbucks clientele a favor by not bringing my sleepy toddler in there. Disgraceful. Ive never been to a trashier Starbucks. I will not return here, Ill go to that place accross the street. Thanks
Krystal is the best thing to happen to this location. She is the shift manager of this location. They left one of my coffees out and I didnt have time to travel to Cambridge back from Boston. I had no problem with them helping me out. But one of the cashiers uniform couldve used more fabric. Other than the past issues with customer service. I can finally give them a 5 star.
Went at 4pm bad idea ... Waited over 20 minutes for my one drink place was a mad house with no help. Then after that wait my drink wasnt correct. My husband works near this one and likes it bus says you have to use the mobile app and Advance purchase your drinks so your wait isnt as long.
The outside space is kind of large so people can sit respecting social distancing.
Nice Starbucks. Seating is okay--somewhat limited for the amount of people who come in. Atmosphere is nice if you find a spot but it gets a little loud if youre trying to focus on something. One of the guys at the cash register always spells my name wrong.
Not the best coffee but great ambience
Cheerful Starbucks with a decent amount of seating area. Its pretty busy but the baristas are friendly and efficient. I often come here to get some work done if I want a change from my office.
Nice place. Very comfortable seating outside and indoors. Slightly warm indoors when I visited.
Im going to rescind my old review, and say Ive simply given up on ordering teas from Starbucks. The new staff who previously caused me to burn myself on their drinks either have left or now know what theyre doing, and I only occasionally visit now anyway, and the make a great latte when I do visit.
It was only one more step: putting order in the cup. It took 30mins for them to complete it. Ignorant and very bad service. Order placed after mine already was much faster. I was waiting there for nothing!
Typical Starbucks. Never had any trouble getting my order. Indoor seating tends to be all occupied on most weekdays.
This location offers a larger than usual interior (from what Ive seen of other metro-area Starbucks) and offers a good amount of outdoor seating. WiFi is available both indoors and outdoors, with a signal strong enough on an afternoon to video conference. Other than that, standard Starbucks, friendly and large staff.
Awesome place - theres plenty of seating both inside (for the New England weathers) and outside too, when it is nice. Super friendly and smiling baristas. Great place to meet people, hang out with friends, or get some serious work done (with a constant supply of quality coffee, of course) when you have deadlines. +1 😃
Good interior and better coffee than you normally get at a Starbucks. They were even able to make a pumpkin spice latte that my brother liked, and he hates those things.
Service was slow.
PEACH GREEN TEA IS MI FAVV
Cold, bland, Lack respect and Emotion for other . didnt Ty Ford Purchaser chucked it . felt that it lacked love wehen making 😧
Easily the worst Starbucks Ive been too, very slow service and all the while the baristas seem cocky and non chalant about long wait times. I stopped going to this location.
What a TERRIBLE place. Do not go here, there are plenty of other local smaller coffee shops around the MIT area that are much better. Ordered a customized drink from their app, while waiting I can hear the staff making rude insensitive remarks about my order while I am waiting right there. Very unprofessional. Hire people that actually likes to serve customers, not incompetent clowns that hates their life and look miserable working there. Because of this encounter, I will never visit any of your locations ever again. The Starbucks culture fell off, and I hope you get crushed by competitors. This is Cambridge, the options are endless.
Good prices for what I bought!
Ive been in town for about three weeks and have worked from this Starbucks 2-3 days per week, buying drinks each time. Today I ordered my usual coffee and bagel and sat down at 830am. After the morning rush was over, I went up to order an ice water. Jeremy was incredibly rude about it - rinsed his hands and flicked them everywhere while filling my water, dumped out half if it before handing it to me, and generally was displeased I was ordering at all. Im sorry for asking for ONE water in the ~9 days Ive been here lately?!
So good but so much fat
I love Latte of this store. 😍
Really slow service. Walked in on a Saturday afternoon with no one in line before me. Waited 15 minutes for one mocha while the one barista filled 4 online orders without any urgency. :(
Pleasant place to get some work done while drinking your coffee/tea. Sometimes a bit crowded because of this though
Best starbucks Ive been too.
Its got a nice outdoor and indoor seating area. The people who work here are super nice :)
Its a great Starbucks with a lots of space and usually quiet
Nice location right next door to my company. Always busy and lines practically out the door but they try to move as fast as a Starbucks can
Crazy busy but not their fault. First time at this location at MIT, however the AC is busted and doesnt leave for a pleasant experience staying. Sure this isnt the case all he time but staff was really nice!
Typical Starbucks experience, so thats good. Mobile orders are high at this location, be prepared to wait even if there isnt a visible line..
Great coffee and great service! Also love that there is lots of seating here
I was second in line to order my coffee, but even though there were 3 people working behind the counter I had to wait 10min just to order. The staff were chatting with each other instead of taking orders.
One of my favorite Starbucks. Staff is friendly, knowledge, and not afraid to help with suggestions.
My favorite of the 3 Starbucks in Kendall Sq. Best layout and atmosphere + outdoor seating available.
It is located close to Kendall square and offers a speedy service for office goers and college students
Friendly staff, they do an excellent job getting to know their regulars.
The Kendall Square Starbucks. Has everything you need for that morning or afternoon fix. Beware there will be a line since this is the main Starbucks in the area feeding all the tech and biotech.
These guys are pretty well trained at pleasing people even when they screw up
Best Starbucks EVER.
As usual, very good coffee and very nice atmosphere to relax or to work.
Customer service the best..
Good and fast service, recommend brownies and ice tea *.*
Always fast service and never cold coffee.
Two stars because they are consistent with providing slow service and bad attitudes.
Good staff.. as usual starbucks has best cofee... my daily morning cofee was feom here.
Great place to meet a friend near MIT.
Slow service. I’m sorry but I can’t wait 15 minutes for a slice of pumpkin bread.
Great people, great service.
Because of the redline, one minute there will be 20+ people in line, the next youd be able to walk right up to the counter. Theyve got a clover and Google WiFi. Friendly staff and Bruces trivia on fridays!
Slow service - 15 minutes to pickup a warmed croissant, be prepared for lousy service.
This is a nice space, but is otherwise a very typical Starbucks
Fast service with friendly staff..
Pike...will save your life probably
Great location, very fast service
Nice off the street cafe, gets busy at lunch!
Standard for MIT students and young professionals working in Kendall. Fast, Friendly service!
Great place for coffee, but quite crowdy
Working too slow. Waiting my order long time.
Standard Starbucks experience. Lots of pastries and coffee selections.
Cozy and good for studying
It takes me longer to get my coffee than it does for me to commute into work....................
Standard Starbucks. Good coffee, quick service.
On par with any other Starbucks. There is often a long line, use the mobile ordering to save time.
Just your typical starbys
My regular spot for getting work done!
Cold decaf every single time
Spacious and quick on service.
Nice ambience
