This place feels like a carbon copy of Whole Foods. It is well kept, well stocked and clean. What else could you ask for from a grocery store? Their lobster rolls were better than I expected!

Brothers Marketplace has been a wonderful addition to the Kendall Square neighborhood with an excellent selection of quality meats, seafood, produce and grocery items. The staff is very friendly and provide top customer service. A special shoutout to the floral department and Hillary who designed a beautiful table arrangement (see photo) for our Thanksgiving table.

I was just there on Sunday doing groceries and I feel super disappointed. The rotisserie chicken that I got was pink on the inside and inedible. I am not sure what happened or why but we had to throw it away. In addition, I bough Cabot habanero cheese and the cheese has already hardened and is going bad. I spent way too much on groceries yesterday and this is just beyond disappointing.

Ive been twice this month, around closing time, and not many other shoppers, so a pleasant and leisurely experience. Even the restroom is nice.Sure, some or most items may be a bit higher vs. Stop & Shop and Market Basket, but the aesthetics and displays are nicer than a big market.It seems the deli and bakery have a few more upscale items than a regular Roche Bros, which itself is usually much better than most Star and Stop & Shop deli and bakery areas.

Pros: well organized, the staff are friendly.Cons: expensive, the produce is often bad (despite the upscale display).I don’t really understand the produce. It seems like they are stock piling their potatoes, onions, and garlic for months before putting it out for purchase. Or perhaps purchasing at discounted rates before raising the price even beyond Whole Foods (which at least has high quality produce).

I like the layout of this shop. Everything is well stacked and arranged accordingly. There is a wide range of groceries that can be gotten here ranging from provisions, livestock like meat and poultry, dairy products like milk and eggs, condiments, there is also a pantry section and also produce .

Absolutely loved the selections in the meat department. These are the same steaks and chops found at some.of my favorite restaurants. The staff were helpful and I LOVE the Niman Ranch brand, they stand for family farmers and taste great. Thanks for bringing this store here!

Every time I’ve shopped here the staff are friendly and cheerful. It makes a nice change from other stores. The place is always clean and tidy and well stocked.

Its really good and nice place, clean and have almost all the daily groceries. Have plants and indoor food for quick lunch.

Although the store timings clearly say it closes at 8pm, the doors close much before then.Please update your timings to accurately reflect your hours of operation. The ones currently are misleading /wrong/ inaccurate etc.

I discovered this place only recently but became a big fan. They have basic groceries as well as ready made food. Salads and sandwiches are excellent and not ridiculously priced.

I used to buy groceries there, until I realized their milk got rotten in a couple of days.

It is very nice to have this grocery store at the Kendall square. I particularly like their premade food bar (salad bar). You can make a good meal with various choices and options. Usually $10 can make a good quality and quantity. The best bang for bucks around the Kendall station as things can get quite expensive there.

Upscale and looks good, but expensive and has assorted brands. Maybe good for someone who wants to pick items every day after work. Not good for weekly shopping

Excellent sandwiches expensive groceries

We stopped by Brothers Marketplace in Kendall Square to grabbed some ready to eat food. This is my first time hear and I like it. They have many selections. I was famished and this place is perfect. Beside food, I also got some grocery shopping bags, soap, and sea salt. This grocery place is perfect since there is no other big grocery store around Kendall area. Stop by a check it out. The prices are on the Afro table side.

Brothers Market has a great selection, very nicely presented. Its a little pricey, but a good shopping experience.

Great to finally have a food store in the Kendall Square area. They have a pretty good selection of both fresh and shelf items given their limited space. Some things are very pricey though, so I wouldn’t do my weekly shop here. Fairly geared up to quick food options, with chilled meals, a sandwich-to-order counter, and salad and hot food bars.

Great but way too expensive

Wow! This place is excellent. Love the fact that most of the prepared food is packaged in compostable or recyclable materials. The produce, meat and seafood as well as hot/cold food stations make a trip to another market unnecessary. There is a coffee bar as well with seating.

Great grocer with lots to offer in terms of pre-made foods, flowers and bulk foods. prices are reasonable and its easy access. definitely a great addition to Kendall square.

There is a decent range of products given the size. Cheeses are disappointing though. The fish selection is also very limited. They have some italian imported products.

Great variety of high quality food. Store recently opened so staff needs a bit of training in some ares. But they are on the right track. Will be my grocery store of choice for the future.Update October 2020amidst the challenges of Corona: it looks like the store is doing every effort to loose even more customers. Prices have gone tip significantly and the quality of fresh produce is deteriorating.The store manager does not seem to be interested in this.Bad for the employees there.
