Like a store in a Hallmark movie---its a great shopping experience!We love our Canyon Lake Brookshire Brothers; they have everything for any occasion, from necessities to gourmet, even lake/river clothes, well stocked, a great deli/bakery, seasonal live music, super friendly staff. A real asset to the community!

This store is located by the beautiful lake park. The store is very new, with clean inside and parking. Lots of choices of vegetables, meat and frozen items. First time shopping at this small employee based chain store. I hope they will continue to do well.

Shawn is bending yall over with his already too too high of prices. Look at them now. I prefer the Brookshires in Wimberly. Well kept store.

Everyone here is so wonderful. Always feel so welcome when I walk in. Yall have a great team. Jimmie, particularly. He goes above and beyond. He deserves all the good things and I hope he is appreciated!

Found an awesome pair of sunglasses and some delicious cheesecake at their Deli. Awesome coffee and the best steak Ive ever had. We went back 3 times during our labor day weekend vacation. Highly recommend! 🤠👍🇨🇱

Cutest lil grocery store Ive ever been to ! Had a mini vacation here in Canyon Lake and this place had all of our BBQ needs !

Second Friday of the month, cruise in, park, have a beer, eat, and hang out on the patio, listen to the band,all good. I will be back next time. But not tonight 10/8/21 band only!

Its a food desert grocery store, meaning the fresh to packaged goods is terribly skewed to the latter. But it does have fresh foods and its fried chicken is quite delicious. It has all the basic necessities youd want.It also claims its employee owned, which if true, is an added bonus.

Very clean and not as expensive as I thought. The fruits and vegetables looked better than a lot of the bigger chains.Will be back

I love this store in canyon lake Texas,course i love canyon lake. They are a little pricey considering their the only closest store. But i enjoy their hospitality.

We were able to find everything we needed here. Thr produce looked fresh, and the meats looked really good. There were a variety of canned and boxed foods, too. We will be back.

Foods fresh but the employees have foul mouths when speaking to each other in front of customers and dont seem to care.

Management weak some employees could be way more productive, only buy produce if I am going to use it that day it doesnt keep, under no circumstances order a cake. I gave them a chance 3 years in a row each year got worse I wish I had a picture of number 3 it honestly looked like it was decorated by a child and I cut into it and there was no icing between layers. If you must the ones in the refrigerator are much better. I only my go here for the fried chicken strips they are great.

Great local grocery store to pick up most of your lake essentials. Good selection of wine and beers to keep the cooler stocked. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The only large grocery store on the north side of Canyon Lake. They have an outdoor deck with a decent view of the lake and offer live music on Friday nights - often names you might well recognize (Shiny Ribs, Ray Wiley Hubbard, to name a couple)

You have a spectacular assistant manager in Jimmie. He was working the gas station store and helped my boys look for what they needed and even made sure they got back to me safely. You don’t see a lot of that now a days. Thank you for helping your young customers.

Nice place to shop, lovely experience. Gluten free items and nice variety that caters to weekenders and short term visitors. Pleasant people shopping and cashiers were so personable. I will definitely be back!

Brookshire Brothers. Let me tell you. This place is a diamond in the rough. Everyone is so polite and helpful. I love the selection and layout of the store. Everyone who works there definitely deserve a raise because they keep that place bustin!Sushi guy is Friggin awesome!And all of the cashiers too!

No face cover? No problem. They are not required here. They have a small but good variety of the products. I didnt notice if the prices were comparable. The place is clean. The employees are very friendly and helpful. Handicap parking. Store is conveniently located. They even sell fuel.

Good food, great service and a giant pancake. My daughter and I shared one and only ate half. Breakfast for 4 was less than $40.

Clean, organized and much needed on the north side of the lake!! Great fresh fruit and veggie selection, awesome deli and salad bar, serves all meals FRESH with unique items. DEF NOT your typical grocery store!! Even has daily Happy Hours with local craft beers and wine!! Its a must-go place! And cool views of the lake and sunset from the outside dining patio area...like I said, not your typical grocery store! *would have given it 5*s but the regular, every day items can be a little pricey.

Great staff & reasonable prices. We really loved the wooden rockers, swing and patio sets they have. If we were home, would have bought one.

Its Hill County what else do you need to know. If your from here you know what I mean. Only place I know of locally where they serve you a beer and do your shopping at the same time. Overall I love it not as big as say walmart but you get a more welcome feel. Hope this helps have a good one!

Food is always rotten and fresh fruits have a fruit fly issue. Overpriced

You will find a lot a good options of food here and campers tools, I had the opportunity to visit here many times as I stayed for a month visiting Lake Canyon. The only thing I noticed is the teenagers employees at the register they don’t like foreigners or immigrants maybe ?? I realized the person on the line before me to check out was an American and they were nice with this person and said Hi kindly, when was my turn to check out they didn’t even say Hi to me... just cause I look like an foreigner ???? I’m human being like everyone. It’s disgusting, not for me cause I don’t have any problem, it’s just how people think they are different from others. Humanity it’s lost!

We just moved to Canyon Lake and this is absolutely the nicest and largest Brookshire Brothers Ive ever seen!

I really dog on this store. Sometimes you get tired of HEB, Walmart and Lowes... Its a cool store with differences I like from other stores.

They have a very good selection. And most of the employees are knowledgeable and are polite

They have just about anything you need! Its nice to have a grocery store out in Canyon lake that doesnt just carry the basics.I bought a birthday cake for a friend and they decorated it for me. It took forever and the poor girl had such a hard time with the icing she was using. It looked like a Monkey wrote on it when it was finished. We loved it!! It really made our day! Plus the cake was great!!

Boy I sure wish HEB would build a store in Canyon Lake, Brookshire brothers here is about twice as expensive as HEB is and theyre ALWAYS out of everything!!2nd time I went here, I stood in line at the deli for 10 minutes, had one guy working that was obviously unsure of what to do, then he waited on 2 different customers that walked up after I had been standing there for 15 minutes! Hate this store!!

The food at the deli is EXCELLENT! I love their fried chicken.

I stop in here every year for our family reunion. its a neat little store with tons of snack choices, a little Cafe and fudge.

This is a pretty good grocery but what is AMAZING is their fried chicken. Plus, you can buy crawdads by the sack in season so the store holds a special place in my heart.

Great store in awesome location. They have tons of grocery selection plus carry a great assortment of camping, bbq and lake items. Canyon lake has needed a store like this for many many years. Customer service is very friendly and helpful.

Not a HEB but has a great selection for a small grocery store. They blow away the local competition. Ive never had a problem with how fresh there products are.

I always enjoy the view of the Lake from this market. They stock most everything I need without the hassle of huge city crowds.

Staff were friendly an helpful during a refund process. Items are stacked neatly and are easy to find even for someone that doesnt frequent this specific location. Checkout was fast and the staff are following CDC guidelines. It doesnt appear that customers are asked to wear masks though.

Brookside Brothers is a great little grocery market. They have unique items you wont find at your traditional grocery box store, along with everything you are looking for. The workers are friendly and helpful. We always like stopping by for something new.

I know this place as Brookshire Brothers, so it’s kind of funny the name has changed to Tobacco Barn. I think that may be for the store by the gas station, but I’m not entirely sure. The store has a pretty decent selection and I love that it’s right down the street to run and grab whatever I need at the time.

Store has a ton of different food choices and there deli is awesome . Prices are a little high but thats every where now .

Little bit pricey. Sale specials are usually exceptional buys. All employees are friendly and helpful. Clean and well stocked. Produce is way too expensive. Bananas start turning brown the next day? Cucumbers are usually soft and bruised.Overall, for a small town grocer its convenient and always there when you need them. Pharmacy is excellent.
