Dr. Garcia was very kind and friendly. He explained everything very well for myself and my daughter who was the patient. The check in staff and sales staff were equally as helpful.

The staff is great, but I would STRONGLY suggest not ordering glasses from here. It has been over a month that this nearly blind 2 year old has been without glasses.. keep in mind they promised two weeks. And since then have been saying repeatedly, “don’t order elsewhere they’ll come tomorrow.” I should’ve gone with my gut and cancelled the first time they pushed it…

I had a good experience a couple of years ago, however they sold me insurance on my glasses that happen to break when they were shut down 4 months for covid. Went by the other day and now they arent letting people in without mask. Thank you for letting me know your political stance before going in. I wont be back!

The doctor was very good however when it was time for them to pick out my eight-year-old grandson’s frames he likes a pair of Ray-Ban‘s to the tune of $450 It was explained to him that that was just too much for his first pair of glasses the lady that was helping us turn to him and said sorry buddy looks like you’re not gonna get what you want today. How unprofessional can you get

I was very pleased with the front office people but the doctor dr.garcia was a bit abias when i told him i switched from Marietta eye clinic for a second opinion and he tells me b4 the exam dr. Bratton (from marietta eye clinic) is very good at what she does then telling me he use to work with her. Well after the visit he was like i told u she was good i got the same answers..... But i told him how she wanted my son 8 years old to have eye surgery promising no glasses after so that kinda rubbed me the wrong way but overall he was nice but alittle impatience with childern.... Also adding to another post if you have medicaid ray bans only cost half the price if not less bc medicaid pays their portion. So here you can get name nrand for way less than someonee without medicaid

Unfortunately, I cannot give half a star. Dr. Garcia and staff are awful, awful, awful. BEWARE!! They smile and come across as nice folks until......wait for it......you ask for help. I took my mom for an eye exam (no insurance self-pay), he gave a prescription suggesting that I go see an ophthalmologist at some time. Fine. Meanwhile, we found out from the pharmacy (with GoodRx) that we could save money (which is tight) by getting multiple months, I requested for an adjusted prescription and guess what, they flat out refused. Naturally, at first I thought it was some misunderstanding (it had to be), after all, who does not like to save money or help others save money (especially in these times). Turns out, they fully understood but where simply not going to help.I typically never complain as I believe the world continues to turn regardless. This is different. This is pure wickedness, almost personal. I do not know Dr. Garcia but sometimes you get to know someone from their actions. People like him claim they care, but at the end of the day, if they know they have a temporary advantage over you, they will definitely screw you. Along the way, they compromise the minds of people who work for him. This would have taken nothing....absolutely nothing away from MyEdeDr or Dr.Garcia. Yet it would have helped someone out there.I believe in Karma....What goes around comes around. For your long term sanity, Avoid Dr. Garcia @ MyEyeDr.Sour grapes?....yes. There is some of that, but I want to believe that people who know better should not make life more difficult for others.....with a smile on their face. That is sadistic and wicked.

Dr. Holloway is awesome. Today I received my new glasses and for the first time in four years, I can see! I was told by several ophthalmologists that they couldnt correct my vision after a bad accident left me with a screwed up cornea. I was able to get an appointment within a reasonable time frame. My glasses arrived sooner than expected, even during a holiday week. I chose this office because they accept my vision plan. Great service and patient care, highly recommend! (I have worked in eye care for over 30 years, so if I give five stars, they deserve it!)!

I took my son there and I love every one that was there! They new how to interact with kids and make it easy for them and the parents. We did not have to wait to get to an exam room, and the girls and doctor were very helpful with every question that I had. I will recommend this place to everyone!

Awful doctor and the staff is even worse. I had some blurry vision problems since starting a new medication. Went to see the eye doctor for my annual exam (Dr. Holloway). I mentioned the blurry vision and the new medication. He had me do another eye scan, then while waiting for the results, he told me that it is probably a brain tumor and that I need to get an MRI done immeadiately. He was smiling the entire time he said that. I was in a panic and cried the entire way home.Come to find out later on (from my doctor), it was the main side effect of the medication. Stopped the medication and the blurry vision stopped. He never once questioned the medication. I guess it was an easy way to get more money out of me for another scan. Now thanks to that ordeal, Im terrified of seeing eye doctors. It gets worse from there. I went back later on with my husband to get my prescription. The staff will not give you your prescription without a fight. The lady up front (short, blonde and at the time, very pregnant) refused to give me a paper copy of my prescription claiming that its against store policy. After arguing with her for 10 minutes, she finally gave it to me with the wrong brand printed on it. So I had to argue with her again to get the right brand printed. Meanwhile, the eye doctor came in asking that I send the mri results to him because brain tumors are facinating. Hes insane.

First time here, the staff was really friendly and the Doctor was as well. I would definitely recommend this place if you have eye trouble or need to get your check up. My daughter was having her usual annual check up for glasses last week. She has been working extremely hard with her grandma giving horse riding lessons to save up for contacts. I told her I wasnt going to pay for them until she became more responsible. She told the eye doctor she has been saving up for contacts. He asked her what she was doing to earn her money, she told him and he asked her how much money Do you have saved up? she said $63.00. He said what about you give me $50.00 and I will not even take all of your money. Also you can have contacts today. The normal sitting fee with astigmatism would be close to $150. The tech that helped us was very patient with her and taught her how to put them in for over an hour until she was successful. This place cares about their customers and are so good at what they do.I never leave reviews and just had to leave one.

Terrible terrible service. I have had 3 appt all cancelled without them advising me until I get to the office. Then I call to get my last Rx from them so I can get some glasses made because my others broke and I can’t see. They tell me they can’t even print my prescription but can get me back on the schedule. No thanks. I try to shop local but customer service is a joke and didn’t even care that I’m unable to see. It’s all about money and no real service

Went in on a Friday morning to get new contacts and exam, took about an hour. Everything went great and the doctor was great. But here’s when it went down hill. The doctor and girl up front both told me it would be 3-5 business days for my contacts to come in. I called them on the 6th day because I haven’t heard from them yet. I was told that they might have come in that day and went to check and call me back....GOT NO CALL BACK!! I called back 2 days later and the girl said they might be here that today, but it could be next week and she left it at that. Not getting off on a very good foot and may or may not use them again in the future because of this.

Nice staff but shady practices. First off, they have you sign that you received a privacy notice even when you havent. Both times I have been I had to ASK to see the form they had me signing off saying I had read. Never had that experience at ANY other doctor, eye or other. Suppose they dont except me to actually read the forms they hand me which is dangerous to say the least. Secondly, this is the only eye doctor that Ive been to that doesnt give you your glasses prescription automatically. And if you want it, good luck. Ive been jumping through hoops for days trying to get it. Any other doctor and your prescription is, first off, given to you automatically, and secondly, only a phone call away if you forgot it. Ive made three calls and sent emails to three different places associated with My Eye Doctor trying to get it . Suppose they only want me buying their own insanely overpriced glasses. Also, the website says I can view my eye glasses prescription if I make an account with My Eye Doctor Patient Portal. I did and thirty minutes of very personal information later, I couldnt find my glasses prescription. Called and they said its not available on Patient Portal. Not sure which problems are corporate and which are location, but I think Ill just find some other place covered by my insurance if Im gonna have to sign saying I read things I couldnt have and am going to give away a bunch of personal information and never get the thing I should have gotten automatically.EDIT: Wouldnt you know, finally got my glasses prescription, added a star. If youve called and emailed everyone from patient relations to the actual location and they still arent responding to the request, leave a negative review lol

My first visit in December 2018 was fine. I spent over $500 on a pair of glasses and a years supply of contact lenses. Upon receiving both glasses and contacts, I realized the prescription was way off. I went in to get the issue fixed, and they checked the glasses and said the prescription matched my exam prescription and was told to wear them for a few more days until they could get me in for a recheck appointment. Unfortunately I was unable to make the follow up recheck appointment due to family health crisis, but they were very kind to allow me to get a redo exam without the fee in March 2019.At this redo exam for contacts and glasses, I was in the office for over an hour and a half. Apparently they thought I was only there for glasses, despite my call to let them know I needed a recheck exam for both glasses and contacts before I arrived. I was examined for glasses, then led to another room to wait. There were patient files with doctors notes left open on the computer. I was astounded. I’ve never seen such gross negligence in handling confidential patient information. Then I was told there was another miscommunication and that I needed to have something else checked first, so I was asked to wait in the front waiting area again. I sat for 40 minutes waiting for one of the front desk people to check my glasses. The front desk employee apparently didn’t know who she was supposed to be waiting on all that time. She apologized and checked my eyes and my new glasses (from myeyedoc) and my old glasses (from Walmart). I was then asked to wait again for the doctor to check me for contacts. Again, while waiting alone in this exam room for another five minutes with more patient information open on the computer. I was finally seen by the doctor where he confirmed that I DO have astigmatism (at my first appointment he said there was none.) He also confirmed that this recheck prescription was much less strong than what my initial prescription was. He gave me a trial pair of contacts for astigmatism and they were great. I was just grateful I could actually see properly. They kept my new glasses to get them fixed, but told me to keep the old contacts that didn’t work. Not sure why. I was told to call back if I liked the new contacts and THEN they would order my new supply. I was told that because they were the same brand of contacts, they could simply be swapped out no problem.I called yesterday to let them know that this trial pair worked great and that I would like to go ahead and have the year supply replaced with this trial pair prescription. I spoke to two different people on the phone. The first person I spoke to wanted to order another trial pair to be sure. I told her I was already sure and that I just wanted the new year supply. Apparently we weren’t understanding each other so I asked to speak to someone else. I was transferred to Jessica who said there’s no charge for the new supply. She asked how many contacts I’d used from the first year supply (three pair), and she said she’d go ahead and place the order for my new year supply. Then I got another call shortly after we hung up, with the original caller saying that there’s a difference in the cost between the old and new contacts and that I would have to pay the difference and bring in the first year supply.None of this is my opinion, just me stating what happened... I would caution anyone from considering using this eye practice. I just want my money back at this point. I’ve never seen such a poorly run practice in my life, and I’m not exaggerating.

Its ok most the girls are surper nice but you have 1 or 2 new girls that could be better they try and tell u what u paid for or didnt only to find out you as the customer was right!!! Eyeworks is pricey but i would rather deal with them because at least ive never had to take glasses back because they where not the right ones for my prescription that alone was aggravating but after 2 tries they got it right well almost cause i still cant really see out of the glasses but i was told that my eyes had to get use to them...
