I used to love this place when Tim was there. However, last time I was there I got new tires and my radiator was cracked when they ran over a jack. Coolant profusely spilled out within the same day. I called and the manager was rude and unhelpful. They claimed they had no responsibility for it and that their staff did not do the damage. I took my car to the dealership, the day after, and they said not only did they crack my radiator, the tires on my vehicle are poor quality and unsafe. Terrible! I called corporate and hoping to speak to an area manager.

I am reminded of why I stopped going to the Rolling Road Firestone a few years ago. I did not think it was possible for the customer service to get worse, but the staff there proved me wrong the past two weeks. Appointment times are not honored. Two weeks ago one of the associates at the front desk said online appointments are not taken at the time the customer chooses. You are simply next in line. She does not understand the meaning of the word appointment. Then, the day before Hurricane Ida hit our region, I called to reschedule my appointment, but when I showed up, there was no record of my appointment. This morning took the cake. I showed up for my appointment and the associate gave me a price that was almost double what the cost showed on the recommendation list. She then became combative, cutting me off as I was talking. I told her I was calling Corporate. She said she didnt care. Im not sure where these front desk workers are coming from, but they are part of the bigger problem at Firestone. They dont know how to treat customers. If customers dont come into the store or constantly get poor reviews like this one, the store closes and they are out of work. I would not go to any Firestone. There are too many other choices. I tried to do business with them even after my car died after getting brake switches replaced at the Nottingham store in July. Every store is worse than the one before.

Went for an alignment and this took almost almost three hours. Once I got less than 10 mins down the road my car began to smoke out the tail pipe as if they had done something to the engine. I immediately called the store as it was 5 mins before close and spoke with Larry who advised to not drive the car and that he would come to me to see what had happened . Needless to say he never called and never showed, which is horrible customer service being that he offered to come as I said I would comeback to the store . Never have I had car problems as I bought my car brand new and keep up with the maintenance . So it is no irony that after immediately leaving there I my car began to smoke . Thank goodness I am covered by a 10 year warranty that comes with the car and can have a dealership look into this issue shall if continue . I will NEVER go back to this place and do not recommend anyone else to go here either .

Too much wait for just oil change and brake inspection.I did have an appointment at 10:00 in the morning, it’s been more than 5 hours, and the car is still in garage, I can see nobody is working on it.If you can’t finish the job on time, then don’t take appointments.

My wife made an appointment for 4 new tires, on her compact car. Price seemed high but they were the only place around with the right size tire, so we went ahead with it. It took this shop over 3 hours to simply replace 4 tires. I checked the tire pressure when she got home, and all 4 tires are inflated 9 PSI below spec. Not only is this bad business, but incredibly unsafe. Do not go there.

I called on Saturday 24 Oct and scheduled an appointment on Sunday 25 Oct for an oil change and tire rotation. Though the gentleman at the front desk stated it would be no longer than one hour, I didnt get my key back until an hour and a half later. Other than being hungry, I didnt really mind, since it was a dreary day and I wasnt in a rush to be anywhere else.The man at the front desk, whose name I unfortunately did not learn, was very clear with his communication. He told me the cost of the services up front and stated I did not need to pay at that moment, but would wait until I picked up my car. While sitting in the waiting area he gave me updates about what was happening to my car (theyre about to pull it into the garage, fluids that were checked, that itd be ready to return to me in a few min, etc.) and explained anticipated services I would need in the future. He was frank about what services were recommended based on the mileage of the car but not because he or the techs could actually see the parts. Instead, and encouraged me to check previous service records to see if those parts actually need replacing. I appreciated the honesty! He also said Id be due for new tires soon and let me know to wait for some upcoming promotions.Overall, getting an oil change (or completing any car maintenance for that matter) is a pain in the butt and never fun. I was pleased with the service I received at this Firestone location. Kudos to the gentleman working the front desk on Sun 25 Oct.

2/11/21Service/Sales Specialist- Will HarveyVery dissatisfied with this store. Why? Communication is far from complete. Get a quote to have front tire replaced. Out the door, total $77.21. Job done, I have my credit car out ready to pay and the cost is $119.00. Argument ensues, because I am now being told that the extra charges were for having the tire mounted and balanced, for hazard protection and taxes.Excuse me? I spoke with Will in person and by phone. And before agreeing to have the work done, I asked not once but twice what I would be charged. Had Will on speaker and my sister heard what he said, all inclusive final cost was $77.21.Now I have three people behind the counter insisting I was quoted $119.00. I am being bullied and not liking it one bit. Finally I put an end to the charade, I tell Mr Harvey to put my old tire back on my car. I wasn’t going to give Firestone a dime for wasting my time with people apparently trained to be bold faced liars!Come home and look at the paperwork given to me. Five pages of quotes for things my car supposedly needs but, no where was the original quote or final charges written for the new tire I got. Does that make sense? Does to me. Not in writing, the customer with faulty hearing gets its wrong. Her problem. She pays.If corporate reads this review, insist that your staff be 100% upfront and transparent, insist that quotes be in writing, thank you very much. Because today was horrific dealing with the he said, she heard bs.I am, a disgusted ‘former’ customer.Tina LearsP.S. The whole staff is knowledgable and friendly. From the store manager to the sales rep to the tech. I had horrible experience at Columbia store and below acceptable at West Minister store working to get my alignment correct on my Wrangler. This store has great leadership and it reflects in the amazing customer service. I was updated regularly on process of jeep while I waited. Engaged in friendly conversation and when my Jeep was done, it was perfect. True show of professionalism and customer service at this store.

Needed one tire to be replaced. Called the place asked them if they can do it, they said to drop off the car at 1pm and that it will take them about 2 hours to do it, because they were busyI dropped off the car at 12:45 and left for work. Called them around 3:30 to see if the car was ready or if they could tell me when it will be ready. The guy told me that my car wasnt ready yet, but would be ready before 5pm. I got there at 4:45 amd and nobody even touched my car yet. So i just went inside got my key and left. 5 hours!!!!! And they couldnt do a 10 min job!!! I went to a different shop and they replaced my tire in 10 min.Definitely will not go to that place again or recommend it to anybody.Waist of time!

I had my brakes done front and rear at the firestone on liberty road in February of this year (2020) and 4 months out I’m hearing a grinding noise and squeaking on my brakes. Liberty road wasn’t able to see me for a week out after I told them the problem that could have occurred on their end. I ended taking my car to the firestone on rolling road where I was referred and the manager (Tim) was very professional, helpful, assisted my mechanical needs perfectly, remained professional and actually had his great team fix the issue that the firestone on liberty road caused! They took me the same day and serviced me free of charge since it was on the company’s hands. Will and the mechanic who worked on my car did a great job through customer service and the work done on my car. I will be taking my car to them from now on! Very professional and helpful so that my family and I feel safe on the road!

Well I gave them 4 stars before due to the people who helped me but now there is a new Manager his customer service is rude he brushes you off and give out wrong information just so you dont seem like a bother I had a tire sensor replace before the new manager got there well that next week the signal came back on so I went back the manager he was new he was rude and said that I needed to go to the dealer and That the other tire needed a sensor I told him That they had already replaced 2 sensors he was very argumentative so I left and went to the Mr. tire in Elliott City down the street The manager therewas friendly and was so wiling to help he reprogram it and sent me on my way he said that they never programmed it right from the start it seemed that I never needed replace just one. Now because I live close by I needed a oil change and I went to Mr. Tire down the street well That same manager was there I told him the car type he told me that I had to put in Full synthetic blend told him that was not true that GMC recommends using semi and he said it would cost me almost 100.00 dollars he said 74.00 with taxes I couldnt understand it because I had my oil change there the last time and it didnt cost as much once again he wasnt very friendly so I said never mind went to Ellicott City well it cost 49.00 for Semi synthetic and they were friendly and got me in and out. Customer Service is everything and being good at what you do is a plus but if your a manager without patience friendliness knowing how to handle situations then who can you turn too That youngman needs more training on how to conduct himself as a manager and not a worker PLEASE RETRAIN HIM ON HIS JOB learn to listen Thank you Ellicott City for helping me twice Good job

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. They had my car for 7.5 hours to do a simple tire mount and alignment and did not even offer to start the work until I showed up to pick up the car. I dropped it off at 10:00 AM and was told it would be done by 5, this was by service advisor McKnight. I returned at 5 and at this time Michelle was working the desk. I waited for some time, then at 5:20 asked for the status. She said that she confused my car with another one, and that they hadnt even started mine yet. She repeatedly told me to calm down when I said how angry I was, and that I shouldnt expect it to be done since when I drop the car off that means I am giving them as long as they need to do the work. If I hadnt shown up, would it have been done at all? Would they have kept my car overnight? Who knows! But according to Michelle that is my problem, not theirs. I honestly feel like I dodged a bullet by not having the work done here. I asked for my keys and my tires and will be taking my business to a shop that I can trust will actually do the service that they promise to do.

Had a 7 am appointment. Didnt get my car in until after 8. Then they ran out of wheels weights and had to send someone to another location to pick them up. I would not recommend Firestone for tire replacement.

Dropped the car at 11:30am for mount and balance came back to pick it up at 4:30pm and still not ready yet. And this is the second time they have taken all day to do a easy job . First time it was alignment where I had to wait 4 hrs .Wouldnt recommend it anyone coming down to this location .

I wouldn’t give them any stars horrible service. They didn’t put oil in my car and my engine messed up. Instead of them trying to fix the problem they tried to cover it up to help themselves. My car was perfectly fine until they touched it. I have always used firestone but not this location. I will see to it nobody goes here and they have a lawsuit coming.

Got my car inspected for MVA registration here. The inspection was quick and honest. The service was reasonable and fast but not perfect. They changed my taillights but did not tighten the screws on trunk side back well enough and they fell off. I went back to get it fixed but they ignored my complaint.

We had our AC checked last Wed. AC line needs to be changed. We did not have it scheduled right away no pressures but call a day before we want it fixed so, they can order the part. I called Thursday and specificaly said that Im calling days ahead because the part needs to ne ordered. The lady on the phone scheduled us for Sat at 0800. We went Saturday, the lady got the papers printed out, had me sign and got our car keys. The lady asked us if we are leaving the car or we are going to wait. In my mind, oh great we can wait. I opted to wait. Waited for an hour until the lady called me to the front desk and told me the parts needs to be ordered and wont come in until Monday. So, thats why the car is still at the parking lot all that time. I asked her why the part wasnt ordered yet when I called last Thursday? So then, she said sorry and shell order it and it will SURELY be there Monday even offered to call us when the part comes Monday (morning) and we can bring the car. Now, its Monday around 0930, I called just to make sure evrything is set and we are just waiting for the part to ne delivered. Dont even guess, nobody has done anything. No part is coming today!!! Not until Wednesday. If I did not call, we (husband & I) will probably wont get a call to bring our car in to be fixed. Why did the lady at the front desk said it will surely be available Monday? If the part was ordered last Saturday and the dealership wont be able to deliver the part until Wednesday not today(Monday) why were we not informed about it ahead of time they could have give a call Saturday to let us know. There is a big communication and customer service problem here. This branch have caused us a lot of inconvinience!!! A simple sorry is not enough! FYI, weve been firestone customers for years now, not this branch, though! It just happened that when we had the AC line checked the service wasnt available at the firestone we usually go to, their machine was broke.

Went in for an oil change a month later oil light keeps coming on. Something isnt right about this. Never experienced this before. I shouldve never switched up and tried some where new. To be continued.....Welp showed up to the store at 9:25 a.m. There isnt a person available oh and the store is locked up tight. Who works here? Why isnt the store open for business? Why is my vehicle still broken. Why cant i get the customer service i need? Firestone this is so unprofessional.

Two stars only because the staff was very friendly and attentive. The techs are beyond incompetent. Vehicle came in running well for alignment and oil change. Told me the oil cap was seized, they could fix it for $$. No. After they finished the alignment said it was running badly now and needed a fuel system clean ($$$). No. Ran very well before the appt! Managed to limp home. Oil cap came off without effort, I put it back on properly.. running well. 2nd visit where they claimed more $$$ problems then ever exists. Incompetent is an understatement.

I arrived at Firestone at 745 a.m. for an 8a.m. appointment but my vehicle wasnt taken in until 9:30a.m. I wasnt pleased with that but overall, I was pleased with the service given. Ive been using Firestone for years and will continue to do so.

We are never happy to hear when we have failed to meet our customers needs and we do our best everyday to satisfy many people who come to us for their car services. Do we sometimes fail to meet a time deadline or do things break from time to time? Yes. We work on cars with many moving parts so its inevitable. We maintain that we ALWAYS do what is the right thing by our customers even when we make mistakes. Hundreds of people come to us on a regular basis and tell us how much they appreciate having a place they trust to take their cars to. If anyone has any questions about the services we provide or any questions in general we encourage them to call the store. I first went there to get a tire rotation and everything seemed to be ok. I go back because my car is swaying to the left. They try to charge me $1500 for the work and parts. Ended up breaking one of the wheel studs and tried to charge $122 just to replace it, which is funny because they were the last one to remove the wheels. A lot of unnecessary parts and labor were added so be careful when going to this place and take a close look at the bill.

One of the worst auto repair shop that I ever seen. I replaced the rack & pinion front tires, rear & front brake pads for my car in different auto repair shop. I brought my car to Firestone for alignment. The michanic loosed the bolt and the engine oil was leaking. I thought leaking is from rack & pinion, but it was from engine.

Waited 45 minutes for them to look at a tire that just needed to be plugged. Then they tried to sell me a new one saying they could not plug it because it was not in the tread....went to Goodyear, they plugged it for 20. Firestone is not a quality place. Goodyear on Rt 40 just down the street will get my business.
