I negotiate a Left Handed Bass with Bruce and asked for shipment to Germany. Bruce is a very professional, trustworthy and committed dealer, who helped me to make this deal round the globe happen. The Bass is in absolute great condition as he has photographed and described it and I am very happy. Bought my first guitar here. Found out a while later, the guitar they sold me had a bent neck. Told the salesman it was my first, he still decided to hock a damaged guitar to a newbie.Edit: It was definitely Guitar Exchange right across the street from Bills.

Sold me a Gibson Les Paul R9 advertised as Brazilian rosewood, and it wasnt. Refused to take it back and wouldnt answer the phone when I called. Beware, guitars are advertised as something theyre not. would never do business with him again.

THE PRICES were great!I have been patronizing high end guitar shops for over 30 years, and I have never before encountered such a knowledgable, friendly, and fair broker as Bruce at the Guitar Exchange. I had a great time, playing truly unique instruments (I think I played every one), and I learned more in the few hours I was there about the history and production of guitars than I ever gleaned from my stack of books on the topic. I loved the whole atmosphere there. And the prices were simply fantastic. I now monitor his inventory via website for my next great buy.

This guy is encyclopedic about used and vintage guitars. Its a high class boutique guitar store... no accessories, no strings, no picks but an F-5 Gibson mandolin from the 20s! Lloyd Loar, Les Pauls, a 1952 Telecaster! Bring your checkbook as what he has you wont see elsewhere.

I drove from DC to see guitars and amps advertised on website. None were still available. He doesnt update his website. He also had very low and uninteresting inventory, with guitars with old strings with no setups. Will never go back.
