This is a review for this Ulta store - not the Brow Bar. I want to start off by saying that in the 7 years of me being a loyal patron to Ulta, insisting that the company is better than its competitors, and even owning a store credit card and maintaining a Diamond Member status, I have never found a store to be more consistently horrible in every way. Ive been followed around like I was a shoplifter on numerous occasions. Ive been blatantly ignored when Ive asked simple questions about products. Ive unknowingly purchased expired skin care TWICE from this location. And most recently, was forced to, *pay to exchange a product* that I ordered online that was undeniably used and touched with greasy fingers. All I wanted was a fresh, untouched product. However, even after insisting multiple times that I needed to make an exchange and not a return and then purchase of a replacement product, I was fed the same flimsy excuse about how I had used points and so it cost more now. I was talked at like a 5 year old by management, and even was forced to show a different manager my USPS proof that the first order went missing. What on earth could I have been trying to do in that case? Any way, even the rep I contacted at the customer support number was dumbfounded and merely told me to go back inside and ask to exchange the product. Wow. I am in the process of getting involved with the class action lawsuit against Ulta for selling used makeup, and I sincerely hope to reach as many customers and potential customers as I can and inform them of this practice.I would rather never buy makeup again, than have to step foot in this toxic establishment. Just go to Sephora, or even just Sallys before you consider coming here.
Overpriced. Way overpriced. The service at this particular one was baaaad. Bad attitudes and lack of knowledge. The person who was obviously the manager on duty, was especially cold and almost hateful. I didnt know that I wasnt supposed to look in the samples, but she made sure to tell it across the room and say in a very loud voice to the other employees that someone is messing with the samples again (insert eye roll imogi here) Also, I could tell she was a woman of a certain age yet unwilling to help me find a product that suited my needs. Could be her distain for customers. The only reason I gave this store two stars is because one of the salon girls helped me out a lot. She was great.
I love the brow bar. I got assistance from a really great girl and Im sorry I cant remember her name. Ive had HORRIBLE experiences in the Eastgate Ulta but tried a different location and it was heaven.
