This Walgreens does a fine job. Prescriptions are filled quickly. We use their drive up service regularly and they are quick and courteous. We formerly used the pharmacy at a nearby grocery and were constantly having very long waits. Not so at this Walgreens!The pharmacy is generally closed for lunch from 1:30-2:00 pm but this is clearly posted both at the store and online.They also readily contact insurance if there are issues. Have also gotten vaccinated (flu, shingles etc) here and they were professional and helpful. They also do a good job of keeping the parking lot and area clean and attractive. Great to have this establishment in the neighborhood.

I wish I could give 0 starts. Pharmacy unprofessional! Tried to refill a prescription and the women were rude and flustered because they couldn’t find it. I called my doctor to confirm it was sent right in front of them and it was and still the women were rude and asked me to just leave. I simply asked how long the prescription will take to fill and was then told by another rude women to just go. I told them I’m now late to my appointment and need to know how long so that I can let the doctor know to push my appointment back or cancel and just so I can let my employer know of the delay. RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL.

I love shopping at Walgreens! They have really great sales and items are usually in stock.

Arrived @ 9:15 am, for my scheduled 9:30am pfizer booster, for COVID-19. Got my shot @10:00am. Dont recommend the first time slot - they were too busy.

The last couple of times I’ve went here, the employees were not kind. Poor attitude can really make or break a store experience. I will be finding another Walgreens to shop at from now on.

Didnt have what I wanted

Ran into frequent issues filling meds over the past year. Its either not in stock, or its an insurance issue, or authorization issue. Once, my doc was even told I needed to update my insurance (when we had just done this), only to have Walgreens call back and say, wait no, its a PA issue. Ive also been told that I didnt refill what I thought I did, it was actually a different med. If you need to debate with a pharmacy about whether your memory is correct, its time for a new pharmacy.

My insurance changed and I provided the information over the phone to the pharmacy rep yesterday. I went to pick up the meds and the rep informed me there were no prescriptions ready but they tried to call the doctor but they didnt call back. I was confused as to how they knew what doctor to call as I was seen by Urgent care. She told me they called back whoever called in the insurance in. That was me and No one called me. Fast forward to today they receive the scripts and I call to check on them She told me I didnt have coverage. I asked her to check again and she told me she called my insurance company and they told her I didnt have coverage. I asked her to find someone to assist her and I would call back. I called my insurance company and they told me the claim was paid.Very unprofessional to lie and said you called the doctor-sounded goodAlso very unprofessional to argue with a customer about their prescription coverage when clearly I have it and you were doing something wrong on your end.Ill stick to Kroger

I love the pharmacy staff! They are nice, helpful, and always a smile! It feels good to be recognized by your big brand pharmacist. It makes you feel like you are at a ma and pa pharmacy with the benefits of all Walgreens offers!

The staff is inept. The pharmacy staff is unprofessional. They need to overhaul the employee roster completely.

Address says Winton Avenue and it should be Winton Road. Most times the staff is friendly and courteous every so often you get somebody was having a bad day who’s working there. Either they won’t split your pills for you, or they get discourteous while on the phone through the drive-through.

Pharmacy is ridiculous. Every time I’m told it’s an insurance or doc office issue. Had two 3 way call them with insurance and doc office to tell them to fill the Rx. I need a refill now and they refuse to fill it till Sunday despite the pills I’ve been taking run out every 4 days and prescription even says 4 day supply for major knee surgery. So I now have no pain meds and I recently got a total knee replacement.

What is the point in having a Walgreens but not opening till 8am, guess Ill just go to Kroger. So much for being convenient.

If i could give this place 0 stars I would. Customer service or lack there of was beyond rude. I asked to speak to a manager to tell them how we where treated by the cashier and all he said was sorry and he was very unprofessional. I wont be going back to this walgreens on winton rd.

They are horrible they kept me on hold for 20 min just to speak to the pharmacist about my meds. She should be fired

Friendly staff, drive through pharmacy is very quick and convenient.

Both Rowayza & Liz in the pharmacy have HORRIBLE attitudes and ZERO Customer Service training.Ive been back & forth between Walgreens & my Pain Doctors office for easily 12 HOURS on the phone, over past 5 DAYS!I got a new RX. for pain meds, CALLED Walgreens 5 days ago, they said itll be ready in 90 minutes:I GET there and they go into the Ins. Pre-Authorization Mantra.WELL, then WHY did you say itd be READY IN 90 MINUTES??So NEXT day, my Drs. office SENDS over the P/A.for the next 4 days over 2 DOZEN phone calls & HOURS waiting on HOLD, Liz & Rowayza ACTED like they cant SEE the P/A, even AFTER Aetna did the opioid questionnaire w/me, THEN TOLD me the Rx. is ready & APPROVED!!The Drs. office called them 3-4 X yesterday & Liz + Rowayza KEPT hanging UP on the Drs. office. Same to me Sunday, 4x.Gonna give CVS a try, they have 5-STAR rating, this DUMP is 3.2 FOR A REASON & its MOSTLY behind the Rx. counter! ;)Liz & Rowayza need to start over flipping burgers @ McDonalds, they are TOO LAZY to do the insurance end of their jobs.Almost EVERY complaint in THIS store, is about insurance & P/As.
